Georgee’s Pizza

I’ve been a resident of La Canada since I was 5 and for the past 16 years there has never been a time I’ve been disappointed when eating Georgie’s! This place is the best pizza place in the town! I have never had a better pizza. Coming to Georgie’s is honestly like going to my second home. The BBQ chicken pizza is my favorite pizza here. Their ranch is ridiculously amazing! I strongly recommend everyone to try this place out!

We moved into town almost 20 years ago and Georgees is still the BEST pizza for take-​out! Super friendly staff, great crust, and lots of topping choices.

Georgee’s made my whole class SO happy today! All year we have had a pineapple themed classroom and today Georgee’s made us a pineapple shaped pizza! It was a huge hit with all the kids! All of our pizzas were delivered hot, on time, and of course, were delicious! Thanks Georgee’s for making my class so happy! Can’t wait to go back for more Hawaiian pizza!

So, I decided to be «That Guy» and order the BLT. Who goes to a Pizza place for a BLT. Only an idiot. Well let me tell you, that has to be the best damn BLT I have had. I was craving salty pork fat so bad I couldn’t help myself. It was stacked. The perfect amount of bacon, tomato, lettuce and bread. You’d think a BLT is such a simple thing. Until you actually to on a BLT quest. So this review is a BLT review. And my price/​value ratio is .1, which basically is a 10 considering how much spent to the size and taste of the thing.
Now only it I could get it with a pair of fried eggs on top and some sharp cheddar melted. It would be giant naked breakfast sandwich.
It’s worth a 30 minute drive out of the way during a bacontastrafy. If you try, please comment to let me know how you Dr. feel.

Good service, greetings is what you get first upon entering the place. The staff that accommodates us is very helpful an polite in answering all of our quires, it’s very professional and knows exactly what his job is. The Meatball sandwich and Hawaiian Pizza are includes in my last order, it was good, and it always been good, i tried this place dozens of time and the always remained consistent in their food and services.

PLEASING TO THE PALATE PIZZA!
Ahhhhhhhhh! Laaaaaa Canada!!! A quaint residential community nestled between the San Gabriel Mountains, the Angeles National Forest, and the San Rafael Hills, north of Pasadena, home of the Rose Bowl.
When in the area, this mom and pop spot has been me and The Crew’s post hike, go to spot on several occasions and we have always had a hot, meaty, cheesy, cheers experience. A modest free on-​site parking lot sits in the back, a few tables for outside seating, as well as several booths inside. White painted wood paneling runs throughout the interior, Hunter green cushy booths mated with dark veneer tables and Terracotta clay floors put the word home in ranch home. Natural sunlight beams through the windows and framed pictures dress up the white walls. The menu board is mounted high above the counter displaying fresh meets ready to be cut and sold to customers.
Me and The Crew has never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our pies to be brought to our table all hot and ooey gooey, with toppings piled high and the fresh crust always has a slight crunch to it, yet is soft, not doughy. Pizza not your thing? They also have pasta, spaghetti, lasagna, and several chicken plates. Refillable fountain beverages and a few domestic brews are available to quench the thirst.

Me and The Crew had always had a pleasing to the palate pizza experience here at Georgee’s and I’m sure we will have many more.
Btw, Georgee’s offers 5 mile radius delivery and catering.

I’ve lived in the area most of my life, but for some reason never tried this place. Last night, in a last minute dinner scramble, Hubby and I went here to grab some dinner.
The service is friendly, warm, and neighborly. The shop itself is a typical pizza place, tiny with basic tables and glass displays. The menu is pretty standard Italian fast food delicious, spicy and bursting with flavor.
The best part?! They have gluten free crust for any pizza you order (only one size, though.) we ordered that and it’s delicious. Loved it.
Definitely will be returning.

I’ve lived in LCF my whole life and have driven by countless times but never tried Georgee’s until recently. I came with my boyfriend and we were just looking for a snack so we decided to share a slice of the works pizza. Good thing we shared because it was absolutely massive! It was also so so delicious, the cheese was perfectly melted and they’re very generous with their toppings. Not to mention, we were given a side of ranch to try (they usually charge 50 cents) for free! I’m really glad we tried it because I have to get it every time now, it’s so good! It was so good that we were tempted to get another slice even though we weren’t hungry anymore!
Everyone who works here is really nice and you do get the small town vibe from this establishment. Can’t believe it took me this long to try :(
I look forward to coming back here and trying more things from the menu!

The food is ok but pretty bad that none of the workers preparing your food are wearing plastic gloves. They need to improve their food handling hygiene and wear gloves like other establishments (Subway, etc). I realize there currently is no law requiring food workers to wear gloves, but does give an added layer of protection.

I don’t go to LCF often, but while I was in the area, I wanted to try somewhere local. I arrived at the restaurant around noon on a Sunday. There wasn’t a line to order but there were family and friends on each table enjoying each other’s company while sharing pizza and appetizers. The ambiance was very family oriented and had the small town vibe. I ordered a small pizza with bell peppers, pepperoni and mushroom and a half size of curly fries (I couldn’t pass up the opportunity after seeing so many good reviews about the fries). Indeed, the fries lived up to the expectation. The portions for half size was plenty, the fries weren’t too oily and the potato to fried exterior ratio was just right. It was definitely dense in comparison to curly fries from Carl’s Junior or other fast food chains. It was one of the best I’ve had in a long while. I didn’t get a chance to eat the pizza right away and eventually had to save it for dinner. The pizza was good, a little salty for my taste.
All in all, I would definitely go back to try the other items on the menu and order the curly fries again.

Been here several times already. Ready made pizza slices and salad are very convenient and also taste good!
Love their curly fries. They give SO MUCH! It’s overflowing! The seasoning is perfect. Taste great if you dip it in ranch.
I also love their pastrami sandwich. I always order it without cheese. It’s such a big sandwich, I usually share it.
The atmosphere is casual. TV always on. Seats outside in front and side of the business. Parking lot is private. Many street parking also.

To start the customer service was bad. The person answering the phone was not professional and wanted to verify my number by calling me back. That is ghetto. Also the place is expensive and they charge too much for the pizza. The delivery fee of 1.99 or so is nonsense in my opinion

Georgee’s is my favorite pizza place in town. Orders come out pretty fast, and all the food is solid.
I’ve tried some of their sandwiches, and their fries and other sides are good, but the pizza is the best!
The crust isn’t the thin kind– this is crust for people who love a thicker chewy crust with a crunchy outer layer. The slices are on the larger size — think costco, but they pile on the sauce, cheese, and toppings, so I’ve never left hungry.
I always order the vegetarian with no olives, and I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for some good pizza in the area.

I grew up in LCF and enjoyed Georgee’s from the day it opened. I was passing through the valley on a road trip with my wife and kids and this made for a great lunch stop.
The place hasn’t changed much, which is cool, although it seems like everything else around it on Foothill Blvd. has.
The pizza was delicious, just like always. Grab a pie to two and you won’t regret it.

We stopped in and ordered out but it was a small place and the pizza was delicious — not the best but an all around tasty pie. Would definitely return if back in the area.

All I can say is YUM! Although I ordered an antipasto salad, which was massive and fantastic, my boyfriend got a pizza and it was delish. Since I work close to La Canada now, I usually haunt it around lunch time so it was nice to discover this place. Parking is a nightmare so get ready to sneak around the block for a place to park. There is a little dining room to eat at, but we opted for the outside tables since it was busy. The prices were good and I am totally excited to try other things on the menu especially the many pizzas and sandwiches.

Excited to order from here, but completely disappointed with the outcome. Ordered the veggie pizza and added pepperoni. To start, the dough was raw and pepperoni was underdone. To completely disappoint, the veggie pizza consisted of a whole lot of onions and what seemed to be canned bell peppers, olives that were not even cooked, and a sprinkle of mushrooms. Where’s the veggies???
To top off, the slices of pizza were salty. Salty? Did they add salt on the pizza?
Medium veggie with added pepperoni and small cheese total amount paid over $ 30. Not worth it. Sorry.

If you’re looking for a great mom n’ pop shop in this neck of the woods Georgee’s is a solid spot. My boyfriend and I tried the BBQ chicken pizza and it was delicious. The crust had a nice bite to it and the toppings all worked really well together. Great place!

Their pizza and onion rings are delicious! I like the vibe inside the eatery. My friends and I got a half pepperoni and half chicken parmesan pizza. I do feel like they could have given us more onion rings for the price, but other than that, everything was great.
Our server was polite and cool. I would come back again!
