Horrible! My calzones tasted like dish soap. I ordered 2 calzones on friday night for pick up and it took over an hour for my food to be ready. Being a chef i understand a busy friday night but this food was beyond bad. I made this Unilocal account just to say so. First impressions are everything and i will not be ordering here again.

Wife and I ate there today. Pepperoni pizza was great! The garlic fries… not so much. Our waitress was very good with us, I think her name was, Holly. However, country music playing in Italian restaurant, did not seem to mix well with us. All in all, our visit was ok.

I think their pizza is EXCELLENT, but my experience with their service cannot be categorized as such. I have been waiting for an order for over an hour and I live 3 miles from the store. When I called to inquire about the status of my order, the gentlemen who answered the phone was defensive and dismissive. Customer service is an important ingredient in a great business and they seem to have not yet figured this out. One hour and ten minutes and still waiting for my cold order to arrive.

I really like the food that they have at the Montrose one and I was very excited to learn that they had one closer to me in la canada. But I was extremely let down because they claimed to open at 9 am and yet I called about 6 times at 2 and they didn’t answer the phone so I drove down to see if I could order my food at the location. But the disappointment I experienced when I arrived only to find that they were closed even tho the posted hours on the restaurant said it would be open and they had an open sign. So I don’t know what is going on with this location but it is apparently not open despite having an open sign and phone number with posted hours.

Really super awesome pizza with delicious sauce. Son likes the white pizza with no sauce. Both are killer. Don’t be afraid to try the meatball topping. It’s amazing.
Wings are also good. I liked the BBQ better than the spicy (which is also good) and the wings are legit jumbo sized with lots of yummy meat on the bone. None of this miniature crap everyone else seems to serve these days… Are we eating baby chicks? (Shudders)
Salads are good too. Real good.

The best lasagna ever! Awesome hummus and fresh made bread! The chicken kabobs are delicious as well! They get 4 stars because their service is slow and not very professional We brought our own wine but they had ran out of clean wine glasses. Make reservations ahead and ask for the window table.
Overall the food is great! I highly recommend it… Just be patient!

OMG! They have some of the best pizza I have ever eaten… I love where they’re located it’s a beautiful area, great for having a casual date or taking the family… i will definitely be a return customer…

Ordered Pizza and a half order of Ravioli. Ravioli tasted like it was prepared from frozen and the pizza was greasy and with little flavor. GEORGEE’S is still the spot for pizza in La Canada for me!

La Crescenta-Montrose, CA
My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch a few Sundays ago. We had our pug, Sadie, with us so we opted to sit outside. It was very relaxing. Our server quickly brought out our drinks and she also brought out a water bowl for Sadie (so nice!). Our food quickly followed (a large pizza for him & pasta for me) and we were both satisfied with the quick service and quality of the food (I ate almost my entire dish & husband only had 2 slices left of the pizza). Our server was very nice, efficient and checked on us at the right times. We will be back with the entire family soon and I’ll grab a to-​go menu so that I can describe the food & prices in more detail.

food excellent
service crap! sorry but it was awful we had to flag down who ever we could get granted yes they were busy but no it was bad our table didn’t get refills unless we where done eating. as we were sitting down a gentle man at the table next to us told us they pizza is great but the service is awful and we just thought oh he is a grumpy old man whatever but 10 min in we realize he was right.
don’t get me wrong id totally order food from there just not dine in.

Love the pizza and customer service is excellent. New person accidentally charged me twice for my meal. The next week I placed an order for the credit when Matt delivered he didn’t charge me for the 2nd dinner and gave me back my money for the overcharge. Very nice. He didn’t have to, but we were impressed. Love their sausage, it’s real not fake nuggets. My husband says he loves the pizza dough. Also, love their salads.
