I can’t believe I found a real bowl of Ramen, good sushi and all around good Japanese food in Loudoun county. Kid friendly and a nice restaurant all around. We can’t wait to come back.

The meal in my case was completely unremarkable. The chicken teriyaki was dry and flavorless… the rice was dry… the sushi was not good either. I had salmon, tuna, white tuna, shrimp, tamago. They composition was bad. Fell apart as soon as I grabbed t. Miso and salad were meh. Salad first came with no dressing. Had to request it after.
Sorry, I disagree from the other reviewers. Past good reviews were the reason I came.
Service was also unremarkable. Not bad, not good. Just forgettable.

Four stars for their sushi. This place is really good and the food is fresh without being overly seasoned with MSG. The miso soup is super tasty because Koreans can’t mess up seaweed soup. I would definitely come back again even after my husband found a hair in his salad. Kind of bummed they didn’t give us a a free salad or appetizer after the hair because in the second one he found another hair but just didn’t say anything. Lol. But you know it’s good when my husband finds a hair and is willing to come back. Lol.

I really my experience here. Our server was kind and attentive. Also they give you miso soup and a salad to start with. I ordered the seaweed salad and it was delicious. For sushi I got the Eel with cucumber roll and the Tuna roll. Those were excellent. I highly recommend Noku Japanese Grill and Sushi if you’re looking for a place to satisfy your taste buds!

Great service and even better sushi. Spicy tuna roll was spicy and very flavorful tuna. Thick roll. More tuba than sushi. Fire crunch roll. Salmon, spicy crab, outside and tuna inside roll. Good mix of flavors. Salmon seemed fatty and tasty with little oil. Overall great sushi at a good price.

HOW CAN ONE OF THE BEST SUSHI PLACES BE SO CLOSE TO US ALL THIS TIME?! I can’t believe it’s only minutes away from my parents place all along. I was looking for a nice sushi spot to take my parents for lunch. Naturally, I enlisted Unilocal to help find sushi places around Ashburn, VA — I noticed a few of my friends have already been here and their reviews of this place is stellar… so of course I had to see for myself.
We went during lunch and throughly enjoyed the options/​lunch deals they had. My dad is not one for raw stuff (even though what he ordered was raw…) and he went with the spicy combo maki (3 different roles), while my mom got the steak bento, and I got the sashimi special (10 pcs) and the uni (2 pcs). We also got tempura appetizer which was delicious. Shrimp tempura was perfectly cooked and crispy. It also came with salad (ginger dressing) and miso soup. Even their pre meal foods were delicious! Some places you can’t even get past the horrible miso soup. The sashimi I ordered was FRESH (color of the fish was perfect and says it all) and uni was delicious. Also, for $ 8 you get two uni (sushi) which is less expensive than my usual sushi spot.
Our server was also very friendly and attentive. Since we were the only outside table, she made it a point to check in and clear up trash, such as straw wrappers and empty plates from our table.
I don’t know why servers don’t do this simple yet pleasing gesture more often… I hate having clutter around the table while i’m eating (maybe it’s just me being anal) so I appreciated the extra effort she made.
My mom is a hard to please sushi person and she loved this place. As long as she approves than I know the sushi spot is a real gem. I will definitely be here again and again. Esp since the server informed us we can use the 10% off our total bill every time we come!

Came here for lunch and really liked it! We got the Salmon Special from their lunch menu, which comes 3 pieces of salmon sashimi, sushi, and spicy salmon roll. We also got the Fire Crunch Roll from the Chief’s Specials.
The fish was very fresh and the portion was generous! It had a good fish to rice ratio which is a big deal to me because I cannot stand it when restaurants try to fill you up with rice. The complementary soup and salad that came with our meals were very good too. The Fire Crunch Roll was really good and had good amount of fish. I didn’t realize how SPICY it would be though, so if spicy isn’t for you, stay away from this one, but if you’re into that, this is an excellent roll!
It was lunchtime on a Friday but this place was really empty! So the atmosphere was very quiet (maybe TOO quiet, I felt like everyone could hear our conversation lol), but hey, it’s better than having to shout across the table. Service was quick and friendly and they were happy to honor the Unilocal Check-​In 10% discount. Will definitely be coming back if I’m back in the area!

So good! Check out their daily specials on the board by the sushi bar. I had the monkfish liver and it was fresh and deelish! Sushi cuts are actual decently sized.
We came in as a party of 12. The waitress was amazing! I forgot her name but I remember her saying she was Pilipino. Even with the restaurant being small they accommodated us nicely. And she was great explaining the menu to the non-​sushi people. Each couple came in at separate times and the women even separated and sat different places for selfies or to be next to the birthday girl. But the waitress handed the separate checks out by couple flawlessly. Great service, great food. Definitely recommend.

Really liked it, however the rolls I tried were a tiny bit bigger than what I usually prefer. I don’t know why I can never remember the names of rolls, maybe because every place we go to the same roll is named something totally different… but anyway, I like my sushi small and bite sized, the rolls I had required two or more bites but not a big deal, it was still delicious. The spicy mayo (an absolute staple for me) was on point.
They only offer beer & wine so we didn’t have any drinks.
It’s a neat little place, and the waitresses were excellent at their jobs! I’ve never been to a place that had wait staff who actually knew exactly what orders were what, and really knew everything on the menu enough to have a lengthy discussion about the flavors and textures! Most other places the waitresses just read off what was on the order card and leave you alone after that… so I really loved that.

Came here for a quick lunch. Friend wanted to have sushi for lunch and we ordered sushi and sashimi combo and spicy salmon roll.
The meal came with complimentary salad and miso soup. Miso soup tastes like those instant kind. I guess most miso soup is like that.
Speaking of the sushi, it is very tasty and fresh. Sashimi is thick cut, which is exactly what I like. Spicy salmon roll has great flavor.
Overall, the service is good and the sushi is tasty. If you happen to be in this area, give it a try.

Who knew Leesburg could have better sushi than DC, at comparable prices?
I love white tuna, and this review is skewed to my experience with this delicious white tuna. It is so beautiful to look at — like fresh snow on a plate — and the smoky fish just melts in your mouth. Noku offered wonderful white tuna that I ended up getting an order of sashimi (3 pieces) and chirashi with additional white tuna. The sashimi was thick-​cut, which I know that some people don’t really care for. But I thought that the fish were fresh (except for the red snapper, which tasted a little too cold… frozen?). We also ordered a roe roll with quail egg on top. I thought there was too much rice packed in, but other than that, the creamy quail egg over the salty roe was a delicious combination.
Wonderful service, even though we arrived at 2 pm for a late lunch. Would return the next time I am in Leesburg!
