Del Taco

My brother got food poisoning from here…
Chicken combo burrito seems to be the culprit.
Happened 5 hours after he ate it.
He is currently on the toilet shaking with a fever, poor kid
It sucks when you can’t just enjoy some food without having to worry
if you’re going to be dropping 15pounds in vomit and diarrhea for the next few days.
I liked this Del Taco too…

Orders are always correct and hot. Employees behind the counter are always nice and helpful.
I tried their fish taco and it was really good, especially with mild sauce.
My boyfriend and I went to lunch here recently and we realized we didn’t need 2 orders of french fries which came with our orders. Their food is very filing. Next time we will figure out what makes more sense for us without wasting food.
The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean.
We decided we will add this restaurant to our quick food arsenal.

I’m passing through on my home (2 hours away) and I ordered 2 chichen tacos. They talk me into the 3 for 2.09 and give them to me with no sauce or cheese. I’m stuck with them because I used the drive through and I’m on 99. Thanks

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet!
I eat here probably once a week, when visiting family. They are always great, only had 1 minor problem and it wasn’t anyone’s fault at this store. It was an issue with their food vendor.
The staff at this location is great. There is a young gentleman who works here, usually at the drive-​thru, and he is a pleasure to work with. He speaks clearly and evenly, and is friendly and genuinely concerned with fulfilling orders correctly. I always leave feeling like a valued customer. Who can beat proper service with a smile??? In Manteca’s fast food industry, not very many!
Oh yeah… and the food is super yummy!!! I wasn’t a fan of Del Taco until eating at this location.

I believe it’s pretty easy to like Del Taco. They’re not the greatest, but they’re good.
I’ve probably eaten more burgers at any Del Taco than tacos. I got a Double Del combo today and, as expected, it was good without being really great. It had a lot more taste than something similar at McDonald’s or even Jack in the Box.
They had a table tent showing the breakfast tacos which looked good, so I might try those sometime.
The staff was friendly, and the food was good, as it should be.

I honestly don’t know how they never get my order wrong! With a family of picky eaters — I dread the drive thru because I always anticipate that the food will be wrong! Not here! They always get it right! Great service, hot & fresh food.

It’s a drive-​thru location for 95% of its customers, so being the 5%, I enjoy the quiet restaurant, which is nice ‘n clean, and the counter folk manage to capture my oddball order to perfection. Superb!

I usually don’t do fast food, but those chicken quesadillas and crunchy crinkly fries get me every time. Their hot sauce is the bomb! I’m sure it’s really bad for me, but when I need some comfort food, this is my favorite place.

When I come home to visit my grandparents and we are in doubt about what to eat for lunch, this our go-​to place, just around the corner. The food, though obviously not gourmet, never fails to satisfy that craving for a cheap bean burrito or crunchy taco. In addition, the service is always friendly and quick. My grandparents like it because they get senior discount. Definitely my favorite fast food place in Manteca.

This place has the best customer service ever. Wow this girl was hella patient with all the change I had an she had a real friendly attitude. The tacos were great too. Del taco! !!!

Midnight nachos strike again. why do you have to be across the street from my house?

Drove past the Del Taco employee swinging that sign around with the latest deal on it more times than I can count. Never paid attention to them since people on the corner are a regular thing around here, you learn to ignore them.
Today (1÷18÷2011) the wife and I looking for a quick and cheap bite to eat are heading past the Del Taco with no intention of stopping. That is until the wife sees a sign where normally the circus act would be going on, and she yells out «49 cent bean and cheese burritos!» next thing we know I’m making a hard right into the parking lot to take advantage of the deal, completing forgetting of previous plans.
Always being a Del Taco fan, I had no doubt I would be enjoying my lunch but 49 cent burritos seem too good to be true.
So we walk into the restaurant and ask the employee at the register if it’s true. She assures that it is, not only burritos but tacos as well. Bare in mind these are the most basic of tacos and burritos, no extras at all, although you can add stuff to your food but of course it comes with a price. And the priciest thing we ordered was our small drinks, but they figure if you’re gonna eat, you need something to wash it down with.
But, our food is what I’m used to, taste and quality were top notch, service was fast. People seemed friendly until a white shirted gentleman working the counter and I made eye contact. His uninviting glare that he gave me is why my review was only 4 stars. Would definitely go back for a nice cheap meal, hope these 49 cent tacos and burritos are here for awhile.
Oh and a tip for the marketing dept at Del Taco. Putting an actual employee on the corner with a sign which is flipped around constantly makes a person driving by may find it difficult to read. Setting a stationary sign with your latest deal makes people walk in your store.
