Party of 6, was told 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we checked on status and they had crossed our name off. Hostess said they called our name and nobody came. Interest g since she took our name 15 minutes ago and we were standing next to podium then entire time. She admitted to lying. Went to iHop instead.

Most of my experience at this particular location has been large carryout orders at short notcie. This location has been very accommodating and worked quickly to prepare our orders and get us in and out. They even provided plates, serving utensils, and flatware without us even asking. They had a friendly and welcoming attitude and didn’t treat us like we were putting them out(even though I’m sure our short notice was irritating).

It is nothing but displeasure. Corporate needs to visit them. It’s been unbearable for a looooong time.

A quick breakfast with the kids. Busy time but seated in 15 minutes. Friendly waitress. Hot food arrived quickly.

This is honestly the worst Bob Evans in the Mason/West Chester/Fairfield area. Unfortunately it’s very close to where I work so I sometimes order food to-go if I forget to eat breakfast at home. Never again though. The service here is so slow, and there is ALWAYS something missing from my order… be it food from the order itself, or condiments and utensils I specifically asked for when placing the order. Consequently, I always have to wait around for them to rectify it and if you expect some kind of apology, the joke is on you because you won’t get one. You just get to be late for work waiting on them to make an order you placed ATLEAST20 min in advance. The final straw for me was when I ordered coffee when I placed my order and instead of waiting to pour it when the customer arrives to get it, that’s the one item, out of all the others, they choose to have ready to go way before I arrive. As common sense would tell anyone who has it, when u pour coffee from the hot pot and the hot plate it sits on to a cardboard cup and lid with no mouth cover… it’s going to get cold very quickly! I mean that’s just common sense. So when I get there and I see that my coffee has been sitting there and I ask for a fresh pour, the lady gets an attitude with me for daring to ask but reluctantly went to do it while she got my bacon and my butter that were, of course, missing from my order. Smh. The customer service here is just so pathetic it’s laughable. So that’s it for me, I won’t be coming back. And when my coworkers see that I’m not walking in with the Bob Evans bag in the mornings I won’t hesitate to tell them why.

Food is ok, bland and salty at the same time. Asked for tomatoes on sandwich and was served sliced tomatoes on a saucer after sandwich was delivered. Fries had dark rotton spots on them and plate has dried blueberry juice on the rim. I’m thinking it never made it to the dish washer. Gross.

How can you go wrong with Bob Evans. Food was good. Biscuits were a little dry vs. other Bob Evan’s locations I’ve been too and they didn’t refill our coffee.

This Bob Evan’s could be a very good one… BUT no consistent wait or managerial staff. we eat there regularly, and rarely see a server we have had before. food is the way it should be MOST of the time, but we have learned to be very specific when ordering, as the servers seem unfamiliar with the menu. guess they don’t eat there :)

I really enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. I ordered the eggs with sausage, hash browns and pancakes. We also ordered a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. My breakfast was very good. My wife said her French toast was also very good. The service was friendly and for the most part pretty good. Since we were a group of six, our food came out in 2 main waves. But for the most part, we received all the food at the same time. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I remember eating at Bob Evans, literally decades ago, and I really enjoyed having breakfast here. The quality of the food and service was very good. For a good breakfast in a clean place, this is the place to go.

We get brought here a lot by family and I always dread it a little. I’ve honestly never liked any Bob Evans, but this one in particular has always been exceptionally bad. The food always tastes like it was prepared several days ago, which is odd given how long it takes them to bring anything out. The service is equally terrible, but to be fair they always seem really understaffed. Several times we’ve been it looked like they only had two or three servers working the entire restaurant. For what it’s worth the place is always clean, but that’s little consolation faced with the glacial pace of the service and the pitiful quality of the food. With Sichuan Bistro and SuRa Korean Cuisine practically across the street there’s no excuse to subject yourself to this unless you have to. If you really crave Bob Evans at least pick a different location.

I have honestly never been a big fan of this place. I’ve never had anything here that’s really wow’d me… or that I even liked. And, the service has always been sub-par. …Today was no different. My wife, Mom, Dad and little brother all decided to go to brunch. My wife REALLY likes Bob Evans for some reason… so, what she wants… she gets. Our waitress got us drinks, 10 minutes later she took our order, then she was gone for 20 mins. We needed drink refills after minute 3 or 4. She didn’t even bring out our food. Someone else did that with a manager, and then we had to ask them for refills. The food was very tasteless… or, I guess it tasted old… if that’s a taste. Then our waitress never came back till the end of the meal to bring us our bill. All in a ll, it was a failure of a meal… at, in my opinion, a failure of a restaurant.
