If you’ve been to one Cracker Barrel, you’ve been to them all, in my opinion. This location is no different. Very typical of all Cracker Barrels. Service is pretty prompt. Food is filling. Like most Cracker Barrels, it tends to be fairly loud in the dining area. Of course, it’s fun to have a look around in the general store area while waiting to be seating. I will say that this location is a bit cleaner than some of the other locations I’ve visited in the past.

Cracker Barrel is always a great idea. This one is by no means the best, but I usually always get great customer service that is prompt. Rarely have issues getting what I ordered, maybe once out of every 10 visits.

Have been eating here occasionally over the last couple years. I ordered the sampler which includes country ham, chicken and dumplings, and meatloaf. The meat loaf appeared raw and looked terrible. I didn’t attempt more then one bite of that. Hopefully, I don’t end up sick. The other items were not to my satisfaction but we’re edible. Overall service was slow, didn’t even get a refill with my meal. It’s like flipping a coin, either this place will be solid or outright terrible. Happy eating.

Breakfast was good. Server attitude was a tad bit cold. Always busy for breakfast. Get there early or call ahead to get a seat.

The three of us went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast on Labor Day and, believe it or not, there wasn’t much of a crowd. We were greeted promptly and seated quickly… our dining experience went downhill from there. Our server was sullen and when we asked how she was doing, she shared she wasn’t happy to be working today as her kids were home from school… okay, I get that. We placed our three orders… blueberry pancakes, seasonal apple pecan French toast, and bacon with eggs in a basket(toast with a hole cut in the center with the egg cooked in the middle) with a request that the eggs not be over cooked. The French toast and eggs in a basket arrived in about 20 minutes. No blueberry pancakes, but we were told that the order would be right out. The French toast order was beautiful and my husband said it was delicious. My eggs in the basket, however we’re not only overcooked, but the toast was burnt and the eggs were crispy. 17 minutes later, when the blueberry pancakes finally arrived and the server asked«how is everything?», I told her that the eggs and toast were overcooked, and gently reminded her that I had specifically asked that the eggs not be overcooked as I truly wanted sunny side up eggs. She said she’d take them back to the kitchen and see if «they can be cooked any less«. Fast forward another 20 minutes, the server returned with two basically raw eggs in the center of two pieces of barely toasted toast. Nice. Oh, and before I forget, the blueberry pancakes still had raw pancake batter in the center.

I have been a fan of Cracker Barrel since the only one we knew of was in Lexington KY and you only had it on the first day of your vacations. We were thrilled when they built the Milford location, and in the beginning this location was as great. However over the last few years the place just isn’t living up to its potential. This morning for instance. How hard is it to fry an egg sunny side up without scorching the bottom? When we sent the eggs back we received back two eggs that were completely raw in return.(passive aggressive much?) We’ll find our eggs someplace else thank you.

Their food is always great! Uncle Hershel’s breakfast is amazing! Sunday is usually a busy day, so either go for an early breakfast or an early lunch. The service wasn’t great today, but I think that the amount of peor in the restaurant was the cause of this. I will definitely go back!

The only thing the is «good» about cracker barrel is the gift shop it does stink that they put Christmas items starting in July. Please do not misunderstand that the employees working here do a great job. I’m sorry but w the exception of breakfast. .every thing. .and i mean everything just outright sucks. The restaurant use to be a really good restaurant. I remember in the«70’s» the food was great. they had a peach cobbler that we looked forward to have. .it was down right great! I just can’t have my family and friends go here and have all bad meals. Always the employees were great. meals cooked to order the list goes on. But the taste and quality of food is not up to standards… meals standards. .because I’m the one that is paying the bill. I want a restaurant to want my money. .and they have to earn is sad… I just look and find local places and they are just fine. I’d post a photo but most people know what crappie food looks like and smells like. PS…I’D like to know what is «African» about this place too. just read the review.

What is there not to like about Cracker Barrel? Of course, it is not a 5 star restaurant. If you want good food and service this is the place for you.

Cracker Barrel has always been one of my favorites out of the chain restaurants for Breakfast. To me, the breakfast is significantly better than the lunch and dinner options. You really can’t go wrong, when you practically get the delicious biscuits, gravy, and apple butter for free! The service is usually better than average, and I would say this location meets this standard, as our server was friendly, and we got our food in a timely manner.

This joint is okay for breakfast. The rest is not for me. It’s not great. People love it… they’re going to keep going there. I’m just not a fan of «good-olé home cookin»

Cracker Barrels are great: they just are. The food is great, the staff is quick and attentive, even on a busy day! This Cracker Barrel is about 40 mins from me, and it’s a long drive, but it’s great and worth it! I’d suggest the apple dumpling desert, it’s the biggest reason to go to CB!

I took a group of 7 students here for a pre-retreat dinner recently. They seated us right away, and took our orders. Drink re-fills were a little slow, but it was fine. They also had some trouble getting all our food out(granted, we did order a lot!); but they worked hard to make it right so that in the end everyone got what they ordered(and then some!). So that impressed me. Reasonably priced, and good down-home cooking. I got the«old timer’s breakfast», which has lots of yummy breakfast food, but I also often get the catfish platter, the chicken and dumplings, or the chicken fried steak. The mashed potatoes with gravy are a great side, as is the hash brown casserole!

What do you mean I can’t sub pancakes for my biscuits? Are you serious? I can’t even pay an up-charge, I have to order them as a side? Wow, no thanks! Definitely failed on customer service!

I am sure you have been to/driven by/heard about a Cracker Barrel before. A down home, country style restaurant with a store in the front. They are known for the chicken and dumplings, and other traditional southern food like fried chicken. The food isn’t the best you have ever had, but its also not the worst. The bisquits are delicious. Its a good place to go if after you eat you want to wander around a country store type setting and buy all the random crap you never knew you needed.
