My husband and I often come here for date night. We were here a few weeks ago and I have to say, it was an off the scale delightful experience. We had reserved a favorite table, were greeted and seated promptly. The wine and beer selections are always terrific… and we are picky. We tend to go with specials, he had duck, I had the lamb shank, we split the calamari appetizer and dessert. Every mouthful was perfect… tender, flavorful… even the side vegetables were cooked beautifully, were delicious and were pretty too! Service was spot on… attentive but not overly so. We were able to greatly enjoy our conversation and our food… top notch date IMHO!!!

I frequent every restaurant in the area and Manna Dew is my favorite. Taste, freshness, presentation, seasonally adjusted variety — first rate. And, all foods are locally sourced. The staff is gracious, informed. And patient to a fault. Whether sitting at the bar schmoozing with staff and other patrons or dining at a table, the experience is friendly, relaxing. Victor, owner, and Maddie, manager, are to be commended.

My favorite place to eat and drink. The lamb shank is amazing, as is the duck breast, duck confit, pork chop, burger, burrata salad, and basically everything else on the menu.

I will not go back. I went there with my wife and a friend . My friend ordered Salmon it was over cooked and dry. My wife ordered Rib eye in was undercooked It was ordered mid to mid well and came out mid rare. I ordered Duck breast mid to mid well it came out rare. The restaurant was nice too bad our complaints fell on deaf ears and they were unwilling to fix their mistakes. We dine out 2 to 3 times a week but we will never return to this place. The other issue is the Menu is hard to read and looks like a 5th grader typed it out at school.

I’ve been to many places in the world, and all up and down the Hudson Valley especially. I grew up with Manna Dew right down the street from me and I must say it remains my favorite restaurant of all. I consistently get great food from them. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Also they have a *great* micro brew and wine selection. A truly remarkable restaurant. Service remains spotty over the years, but the quality of food and atmosphere keep this review firmly at 5 stars. Very very much recommended.

I love Manna Dew. When I come home to visit, it’s my first stop to eat. Everything from the fresh bread and roasted garlic cloves to the entrees are divine. The Duck… OHEMGEE. The Duck. It’s perfection. For those that know me, I don’t use the word perfection often but the duck was PERFECT. My mouth waters thinking about it. Last time in I had a shrimp and butternut squash dish. Crazy pairing? HEAVEN. I’ve never had anything bad here AND it’s located in the most quaint little area on Main Street Millerton. If you are in the area, do yourself a solid: RUNDON’T WALKTOMANNADEW.

This was the best meal I have had in a long time and I am from Manhattan so I have a lot of options. My friend and I sat at the bar and both ordered a Pinot Noir, Burger, side of fries and a side vegetable medley dish. It was a perfectly delicious experience! I suggest you order the same!

I had the delicious beet mango pistachio salad and was overall impressed with all the local, organic ingredients and the friendliness of the staff. The three stars I’m giving is only because of a menu/pricing quibble. I ordered a side of the fingerling potatoes, which the menu lists as a $ 4.50 add-on to the burger. I was charged $ 7 on my check; when I pointed out the discrepancy, I was told that the lower price is only if the potatoes are ordered with the burger, which is at the same price point as the salad I ordered(the $ 7 figure is not on the menu at all). So, basically, I was penalized for being a vegetarian — ordering potatoes with a non-meat entrée means you have to pay more for them at this establishment. Personally, I don’t like this kind of discrimination, or the fact that when I pointed it out, my point was not taken by the staff :(

I’ve been to Manna Dew many times and am pleased to report that they have recently seemed to up their game. Had a nice dinner off their prix fixe menu and was presently surprised with both the quantity and quality of the food. Had an app of the mussels, very well prepared with a lovely broth, the main dish of lamb was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The pear pie for dessert was so so, but I blame my poor choice(go with the chocolate brownie sundae) it was a slow night and the staff were attentive and friendly. Also… they have an excellent beer selection.

went with a party of 5 last Sunday evening. As usual the food was excellent. My favorite place to eat in the area. Only problem, the service. They were short handed. Our waitress did not even come to our table for ordering unless we chased her down. She never cane to see if we needed anything even once. Food was delivered to our table without silverware. After waiting 10 minutes for forks we had to interrupt our waitress who while knowing we were sitting and waiting proceeded to take the order of the party next to us. She never apologized or even came to see if we were ok. We had good company but our meal took 3 hours mostly waiting for ordering. A restaurant at this price level should train servers better.

Manna Dew is one of my stand-by favorites. Though I never can seem to get it straight what days they are open, whenever I go there with friends I am in for a delicious meal and a lovely selection of wine. They have a great beer list too, though I’m more likely to have a glass of wine. The mussels are the best I’ve ever had. The ingredients are as local as they can manage and the staff is knowledgeable about the food, the wine list and probably any number of things, honestly. I think they still occasionally have live music on weekends?

In a corner of the world with many excellent restaurants, Manna Dew is easily the best: serious dishes, expertly prepared and graciously served. Despite the sophistication of the menu, no one here even hints at pretense. You want beer and a burger? No problem. It will be the best beer and burger you’ve ever had. If you prefer a glass of burgundy, duck confit, and perfectly prepared salmon, you’re in the right place. If you like good food, eat here.

Went to Manna Dew with friends during the recent hurricane – they were escaping Westchester and no heat. In any event, just wanted to mention what an excellent evening we had. Firstly, after just a short wait(one drink at the bar) we were ushered into the back dining area, where a very pleasant darkhaired thirtyish waitress greeted us – we found her to be delightful, both in her friendly attitude and knowledge of the menu. The corn chowder was amazing, and the duck ragu won rave reviews! I know I had been here before, the food was good but now it is really excellent. New chef? Whatever the reason, I plan on coming here on a more regular basis.

Millerton might be a tiny town but it certainly has no shortage of amazing food. We wanted to go to the magnificent Number 9 restaurant [across the street] but there was a bit of a wait and we were trying to make a movie, so we walked over to Manna Dew and sat at the bar. The food was incredible, I have been back half a dozen times since and I have never been disappointed. I took off one star because the staff are not the most pleasant group of people, but lucky for them the food makes up for it. The restaurant is comfortable and the food is great.

SO good! I love this place. I have only been a handful of times, but each time I leave with a happy, full belly and a smile on my face. They use mostly organic, local ingredients and you can really taste the difference. AND their veggies are homegrown :) Everything tastes kind of earthy – from their mushroom risotto in winter to their plentiful salads in the summer. On top of which, the ambience is really nice. It’s dimly lit at night, with a cute bar up front. You can eat outside on a nice, summer day. AND the service has always been wonderful. One of my favorite restaurants ever.

Am I the first to review this place? OH. An honor. A pleasant restaurant with amazing food, good wine, fabulous atmosphere, and plates plated so well, you almost don’t WANT to eat your food. Gorgeous! Their menu plays up on basic foods. Last time I went, I had a plate of Butternut Risotto that was absolutely to die for. My friends got different fishes served with an array of fresh vegetables and grains and edible flowers. For all of this pageantry, the prices were relatively decent, in the $ 12 to $ 20 range for their average dinner menu items. Comparable to good area restaurants, but well worth the price. GO. NOW.
