Pretty basic place. Small, cozy… a bit dark, the desserts behind the case were minimal, I only noticed two or three items. Small-ish menu. The woman behind the counter was friendly & easy to talk to. We ordered a small caramel macchiato & small hot chocolate– both were pretty sweet, which we don’t hate, although there was a hint of cinnamon in the hot chocolate– not our fave. Overall, a good spot for a quick, average drink.

Nice café, it gets the job done! Good place to take a little break and get a bit charged up! A bit small inside, I could see it filling up quickly.

Cute little coffee shop right down the street from a friend’s apartment I’m staying at. Breakfast menu consists of three sandwich options, but made with love. Great for those who love coffee, great selections!

The coffee always tastes fresh, but the staff and owner aren’t very welcoming. During my times there, they have not been busy and are often just chatting behind the counter. Yet, they rarely make rounds to pick up finished plates. Soups are always good though.

Cute coffee shop on the Main Street. Good iced coffee and a half dozen of biscotti choices. Lots of chess boards and a clean restroom :) Good place to hangout. I think the owner holds chess tournaments and or chess club meetings. I really appreciate stuff like this because it shows character and commitment from the business to improve the community and quality of what a coffee shop could be.

The best New English clam chowder soup. And coffee is good too. There are chairs outside on a busy intersection that will give you a good view and feel of the neighborhood as well let you people watch. They will bring your orders out which is nice. Though the cashier girl could use attitude adjustment toward customers. She showed her frustration about having to heat up soup and gave me a look of a nun to a misbehaving catholic school boy. So on the second take I decided to cut the rating from 5 to 4. Her attitude could not take away from my enjoyment of soup.

Very grouchy barista, I recommend a better staff. She made an amazing hot chocolate but that’s about all that is going on there.

Very nice little café on the side of Mystic downtown. A goo place to grab a coffee with a friend, or go do some work. Very peaceful music and ambiance.

What a strange place. No greeting. Even though I was not taking away, I was given my muffin on a plate but still wrapped in plastic! And then my change was just out in my hand with no thank you. They have a primo location on the main drag with nice cushy chairs where you can use you laptop though.

Rude and lazy staff. Clean some tables. Offer some napkins instead of showing me where they are. shouldn’t have to ask. Basic sandwiches offered. Nothing special.

Great Iced Coffee in Mystic. I have been here twice, each time the staff has been friendly and their iced coffee has been great. I look forward to stopping in next time I am in the area.

Was in town for the day for a race and stopped here before for some delicious hot cider. Great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. I look forward to returning to try some of the other treats on the menu.

I must have visited this place on an off day because it was scary. A main draw to visiting a small town should be the respite of long Starbucks lines(and prices)… where you can find good coffee in a tranquil environment. Well, I found none of that. Coffee was not cheap, in fact a regular small coffee was $ 2 and it was burnt. Rip off. The cashier was rude and rushed my order. I barely got to look at the menu before she was snipping at me asking what I wanted. The area designated to sugar, milk and the trimmings was filthy and gross. Oh and guess what there was no milk, so I had to ask smiley to fill up the canister, so she hands me a jug of whole milk, which I just left at the station. The flies swarming around added to my wonderful experience. Looking for small-town charm here? Well, keep looking.

I am in town visiting and decided to stop here during Taste of Mystic. The coffee is great! The shop itself is tiny, and kinda run down… and it was very hot in there(which could have been due to the festival). I wouldn’t want to sit in there and work on a laptop, but there were a few people on laptops when I stopped in so they obviously didn’t mind the lackluster appearance and hot temperature.

Has potential but needs some work. My pumpkin latte was weak and the mini rasberry cheesecake was just ok. I walk in and stand at the counter for awhile as the teenage girl working sits on facebook. I had to just say something to get her to notice me at some point. The worst part was how filthy the place was. I was afraid to go into the bathroom but I unfortunately had to, also very dirty. Dirty floors, tables, papers all over. The place was almost empty and it was early in the day, guess the staff don’t have to clean in their down time. The owner may want to get a handle on this. The setup of the place is nice and it could be a good place but I felt zero desire to stay and hang out and I hate weak coffee.

Laid back décor. Great staff. Reasonable teas and coffees. Free internet(that’s super fast too!). Lots of seating. Nice location to work or to sit by the windows and people watch. It’s hard to believe that there’s such a gem of a coffee shop in this busy tourist strip!

Super cute little shop in downtown Mystic with nice strong coffee. Came in for an iced coffee after breakfast at Azu and couldn’t have been happier — a tasty cup of coffee and reasonable price($ 2.13).

Stopped in here during a road trip to Mystic. After dinner, a friend & I decided we needed some tea… so we stopped in. I had the Earl Grey & Pasonfruit mix iced tea. I loved it! The Passionfruit was clearly the dominate tea, but the Earl Grey played well with it. My friend had the same mix, but in a hot tea. He didn’t like it. I appreciated the friendly service & wonderful chat with the couple working there. I even ended up buying a Bartleby’s Café mug. Overall, if passing through Mystic again I would gladly stop in & get more tea. Maybe next time I’ll even try some food.

Stopped here on a hot weekend day for an iced coffee. Everything was great and the staff was very friendly. Coffee size may be called large, but it is surely a small anywhere else.
