Doorman was so rude we decided to turn around and find another place.(Brown haired guy with a thick Russian-like accent). Complete lack of customer service.

Such a cute little gazebo bar, and it’s outside so you’re allowed to smoke a cigar if you’d like. We had a couple dark and stormy’s, if you haven’t tried this drink yet, please do… and you’re welcome! Definitely a cute spot in Nantucket to check out.

Spent the day in Nantucket stopped here for lunch and drinks. Food was pretty good burgers and lobster roll. Three for lunch 2 burgers, 1 lobster roll, mozzarella stick appetizer and 3 alcoholic beverages $ 97(not including tip)

Depends on what you’re looking for in a bar, if you’re looking for a smoky Bro haven to get loaded cheaply, while being forced to leave your backpack at an unattended table, this is your place!

Ordered a Grey Goose martini and the bottle had been completely watered down. Completely unethical and unprofessional to mix water into bottle to hide bar loss. A bar can perhaps hide watered alcohol when making a mix drink but not a martini. Typically it would take me 45 minutes to drink a martini due to alcohol content, the drink I was served was pure water. My opinion is the bartender was well aware the GG had been watered because he was casually trying to get me to order something else by saying things like«oh you don’t want a martini in a plastic cup.» an «we make great mixed drinks.» The Gazebo is next to the ferry so feel the attitude was«tough we’ll never see 99% of you again.» If this review surprises the management then I highly recommend they start pulling random bottles and checking. I regret not saying something to the management but I was asked not to by my traveling companions so instead we just did a «one and done.»

An iconic spot right in the center of the action at the end of Straight Wharf, this is invariably first place I stop after stepping off the boat on Nantucket. Think casual: t-shirt, flip-flops, and blood alcohol content of .1 or better recommended. You can skip the loafers and whale pants for this spot.

Good people watching and yummy mixed and frozen drinks. Drinks are $ 9 but if you run a tab PLEASE check your itemized receipt. We were charged for an extra drink. The bartender corrected the mistake but no apology given. It seemed like she thought we wouldn’t notice and was nonchalant when we did. It was a good spot to stop for pre-dinner drinks and cool off a bit after bike riding around Nantucket.

Great place to chill & relax, I thought for a place that is strickly a bar that the beer selection was limited & somewhat pricey but overall a fun place to watch a game(we watched the Pats go down to the Rams in the pre-season here).

This one gets the«Nantucket Super Hang Out» title! «The Gazebo» is a packed… well… gazebo full of sloppy young and old local and mainlanders drunk(very) guys and girls all trying desperately to hook up… What more could you ask for in gazebo bar! Enjoy!

The Gazebo is FUN. We went on the 4th of July, before the fireworks, and it was surprisingly uncrowded. The drinks were great(I had mostly gin gimlets and my friends got a variety of fruity blended drinks and mudslides) and relatively strong/well priced. The atmosphere and people watching are amazing. The bar is actually JUST A BARIN A GAZEBO. What a brilliant idea? Right on the water and in the downtown area. Maybe the most fun thing I did in Nantucket. Or ever.

Just before the bricks meet the cobblestones on Straight Wharf and just steps away from the Hy-Line Ferry, is one of the coolest bars on Nantucket Island called The Gazebo. It is the only open-air bar where I could have a cocktail(a Gazebo Mudslide that was the best I’ve had) and smoke a cig in the bar. There is a HDTV, but people watching in historic downtown Nantucket by the harbor in summer was well worth the visit! (Recommend)

It’s just a large Gazebo with bar. Pretty fun place and full of friendly people. Good spot to start out on a warm night.

Gazebo does the job… came here to grab a bloody and read a book after a trip to the beach. I know carding is extemely strick in the ACK but the bouncer let me in without carding me and then asked for id as I was sipping my cocktail? Weird. He must have remembered me because the two other times I was there he didn’t bother… lucky me! Anywho — local spot to get pretty blotto at. Just a bar only — owned by the Tavern across the courtyard.
