Denny’s

Stopped in for a simple dinner. Service was extremely poor. It took several minutes to even be seated. There may have been a total of 6 tables fill not busy at all. 2 stars because it was typical Dennys food pretty standard. During dinner my partner knocked over their drink I was trapped in the booth for a wet seat 3 employees looked straight at me seeing I was in distress and completely ignored me. A wonderful lady waiting to be seated walked into the waitress station and grabbed me napkins. I was very great full to her!

Service here is awful, our server never smile we hardly even saw her, everyone seen in a bad mood, including busser host and server, felt uncomfortable everyone gave us dirty looks and I could eye them they were Pickering bad about costumers and even me, Service here needs some real training in costumer service and also i hear the server Marissa was having problem with some customers and she told them to get off the restaurant like if the restaurant was her :(
My first time in this restaurant and i had a really bad experience

Service here is awful. Our server didn’t smile once, she dropped off the food and we never saw her again. We had to get up and go ask for our own refills in coffee and some boxes to go. Place wasn’t even busy. Definitely avoid this place and just go to black bear across the street.

Food is great if you ever get it and if you’re lucky it might be warm. Service is very slow. One cook is the excuse I was given. Obviously you need to hire another cook or one that can multi task. Also management could use a class in customer service.

Probably about the best tasting food in all of the nApa valley at 2am but, the fact that they are always and I mean ALWAYS OUT OF THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE MILKSHAKES, makes for a pretty disappointing experience. My girlfriend always looks forward to having a milkshake especially as for now that the holiday flavor shakes are out. I don’t know why the ingredients are always not sufficiently stocked but this needs to change please.

Let it be known Denny’s of Napa chose not to recognize Veterans on Veterans Day by not offering the advertised complimentary Build your own Grand Slam breakfast. My wife and I patronize this Denny’s every week for breakfast and it’s a shame Veterans are not honored here on Veterans Day.

I haven’t even gotten my food yet and I’m frustrated. They sat us in the back of the restaurant and basically forgot about us. We asked for a waiter three times and had to finally get up and ask the manager to «not forget about us». I will update this if service changes but it’s not looking good.
Plus my orange juice has ice… not related to my review but strange!

I’m very disappointed with the service that my son and hos friends received on 10÷17÷15! After, Homecoming dance last night, 14 students, decided to eat at this restaurant. My son & 2 other friends arrived earlier (10:35pm) than the rest. My son was helped at first but wasn’t seated. They were greeted by 1 employee who asked how many were in their group. She then told my son that she was going to set the tables up but after that, she wasnt seen for almost half an hour. Only after asking another employee, they were finally seated. Even at the tables, they were completely disregard, only being helped twice within the hour they were there. Once when seated and another for food. (The second time, the waiter only took ONE persons order). Even after getting that small entrée, my son and his friends still weren’t tended to by anyone. After waiting for a long time, they grew impatient and left to take their business to In & Out (12:00 am). The employees at Denny’s were unprofessional and neglectful to their potential business.
These employees need training on customer service and overall interaction.
Wonder if a parent or adult was around, would my son and his friends been treated differently???

We waited 10 mins for a waiter, she came it’s been almost 10 more mind just for our drinks, it’s ridiculous. There was a couple who just arrived and they have their drinks and ordered food, they have not been here more then 10 mins. There are waiters who are complaining to other waiters about their duties in front of customers. Just completely unprofessional and while I’m writing this review, we got here at about 1:10pm and it’s about to be 1:30 and we still have not received our drinks. Our waiters name is Jeanette or something. We still haven’t received utensils, she’s walking back and forth with her phone out, and there is another waiter who is just watching tv. Last damn time I come here to eat. The service is the most ridiculous. We asked for a different waiter. The water taste like tap water and the food was just awful. There was a worker who actually checked up on us (Monica) after we asked for a new waiter, she was more attentive and by that I mean she actually asked how we were doing 2x. Because it seems like our waiter heard we wanted a new waiter and asked us how we were doing 1 time. We were the only ones in our seating section and there was absolutely no excuse to ignore us. If the Janette lady didn’t want to work she should just go home instead of ignoring her tables.

The food was good like usual but we had the absolute worst service. We walked in and there was no host to seat us. When we finally flagged him down he was like «oh so you two want a seat» then we had to ask for water, ask for someone to take our order. We weren’t even entirely sure if we had a server. Once we were brought our food no one asked us how we liked it. Or if we needed anything else. It was still delicious so I think with some server training you will do well!

The restaurant needs a serious upgrade in regards to the booths and such. Thinking that our waitress was new because she served the dressing ‘on the side’ on top of the salad. What’s that about? And the topping on the nachos was cold??! Anyways the mozzarella sticks and chicken strips were okay. Use caution of you want to go to this Denny’s. Mind you — all the other Denny’s restaurants that I have visited were extremely great!

Listen, I don’t know how it came to be that I would ever give Denny’s 5 stars, and It wouldn’t be fair to say that ever Denny’s deserves the same rating but this one truly does. We came in here out of pure convenience while traveling in our RV. We are in our late 30’s and really enjoy our food after our long hikes. After one visit we were amazed with the new menu & prices. We came back the next day and was just as satisfied happy happy

Today I had one of the worse experience at this location i came with my wife and kids we wait for more that 20 min then my food was wrongly made didn’t see my waitress for 30 min I wait for condiments refills nothing I don’t think I come back manager rude!!!

Okay I understand it is fathers day breakfast and a lil hectic but our coffee mug had a lipstick stain and we noticed right after my hubby drank out of it! Yucky disgusting and the server just took it like nothing no apologies whatsoever, and to top it off our order was wrong! They gave us our neighbors order and it was wrong with them too! Double the error? Or just careless. I only came in because Ihop and Black Bear down the street wait was longer. O and the server just saw my empty coffee mug had just walked away I had to ask her for more

This is an affordable breakfast when you stay at the Best Western next door. You are given a breakfast voucher if you have a Best Western membership. I chose pancakes, bacon and eggs. I had to eat it in two lots, a bit like main meal and dessert. The reason for so few stars is because there were few wait staff and those who were there were run off their feet so making mistakes was inevitable. However, the staff there corrected their mistakes with grace.

Food was good. The $ 4 value meal that comes with sausage or bacon, 2 eggs, and 2 pancakes is a great deal. 15% off the check if you’re staying at the Best Western (except for the value meals). Service is not very good.

Great waiters. Kitchen is slow at times but love the customer service. all their food is delicious it’s the best place to go in the middle of the night with friends! Lol and all the night shift waiters are kind even th I ugh they gotta work so late.

So… The hotel in Napa had a coupon deal with the adjacent Denny’s. It’s industrial. But we got edible meals for a more than reasonable price. Not much else to say.

Nothing to complain of! This place is just great, casual, comfortable as it is supposed to be. Food is terrific. Thumbs up.

Okay, you are asking how can I give a Denny’s four stars. The answer is that assessment of cuisine can be highly situational and there are times when nothing else but Denny’s fits the bill.
You need a big, relatively greasy breakfast. You don’t want to be troubled with decisions like «bacon or sausage» because you want both. You want your eggs and you want a couple of flapjacks. You don’t care that those pancakes aren’t light and airy as angel farts. You actually prefer ones so hefty they sit in your stomach like a wet mattress. This is all about consuming mass quantities of breakfast calories. So what do you do? You order the Slugger – two eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes. Problem solved. Oh – by the way– you’d do well to power it down with some OJ to power through the inevitable clog that will form in your gullet.
