This is our new favorite restaurant. The food is delicious and the service was wonderful. The manager was on the floor making sure all the diners were happy. Our waiter, Ruben, was so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Dining in the Garden room last night with friends. They have a special two course menu from 5:00 — 6:00pm @ $ 28.95pp. Half of our entrees are from this menu. The room changes from light to dark with lights magically after sunset. We were there from 5:15 — 6:45pm. A beautiful room to have your dinner. You’ll feel as though you’re somewhere else… maybe even Italy. The atmosphere is pleasant as is the wait staff. We were fortunate to have«Pietro» as our server. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and its preparation. Also very personable and a pleasure to talk to. What we had(and pictured) Garganelle pasta(with a lot of delicious meaty pieces of) Chicken, prosciutto and peas.(Done to perfection, loved it) Spit-Roasted Chicken with risotto alla parmigiano.(My friend said the best he ever had) «Porchetta» Spit-Roasted Pork With sautéed escarole(no potato) Was very good, not great! Brussels Sprouts With house-made pancetta(you won’t be disappointed) House Special Risotto: many things in there I forgot but was told most enjoyable. Decaf Cappuccino Only disappointment was the Caesar Salad. Here they have so many complicated and flavorful dishes and something as simple as a salad be so ho-hum. You’ll have to ask for extra salad dressing as there wasn’t enough. The bread basket was very good! In all, worth it and a memorable evening. Looking forward to returning here and trying other things. And of course looking for Pietro!

Good modern Italian. Very good wines. Pleasant service. Among all the Italian places here, I loud to return here for the grilled dishes and delicious salads. No comment on wines, but would consider them to have at least an adequately curated selection…

We went to dine there with great expectation only to be sadly disappointed. The young hostess was anything but warm and friendly and almost felt like she was discouraging us to stay to wait for a table. Our server was friendly until we told him we would not be ordering drinks and he seemed to cool after that. Felt a bit hurried. And finally the food was nothing special. Our overall feeling was that this was a very average experience. Much better Italian on fifth in Naples.

So an update. The food is good but not great. But on our most recent visit the meals were presented in a way that was underwhelming. It appears they now want you to order all side dishes separately… for a pretty penny. Not only that, but we are not big drinkers. We had a cocktail with friends at another establishment before we arrived at the restaurant and really did not care for another. When we didn’t order a drink, or appetizer, the server’s attitude totally changed and became intermittently passive/aggressive and dismissive. So crass for a restaurant charging the prices they do. The meal was nothing truly special and the tables were so close together that my wife had the server for another table’s ass literally in her face off and on for 20 minutes until we finally physically pushed our table by ourselves because our server started ignoring us and was no where around to help us. Pretty bush league for Naples and for a restaurant with so many 4 star ratings. Not returning.

We had a wonderful evening at Campielo. The food was very good and our waiters, Dennis and Peter, were fantastic. They really made our whole experience!

Probably my favorite in town. The octopus appetizer is so amazing. Service is always first class. I enjoy their extensive wine list. I also highly recommend the calamari appetizer it is always fried and spicy to perfection. Campiello is my go to date night. It is impossible to be unhappy here.

This is my favorite restaurant in Naples. My family has made it a tradition to come here for dinner at least once while we are on vacation. We have a running opinion that they make the best calamari-an opinion that I will continue to hold up based on my last dining experience. My boyfriend and I were in Naples over the holiday and since he had never been to Naples before, I knew I had to take him here for dinner. We made reservations for 6:00 and were seated out on the patio. This is by far my favorite area to eat here, especially during the holidays. You can look out onto 3rd street and see the trees lit up with Christmas lights. It is very romantic! We of course started with the calamari. It was a good as I remember– I still can’t figure out how they get it so crispy and tender at the same time! For our main course we ordered the roasted chicken breast and seafood linguini. Both dishes were amazing and we savored each bite. I can’t wait to come back next year!

First time to Naples and my father took me to one of his favorite spots. The restaurant rates well above average in every way. The ambience is romantic and elegant, with plentiful mood lighting(Christmas lights strung about the trees), heat lamp/warmers evenly dispersed to give a warmth(literally and figuratively!). The service was impeccable– every one of our needs was attended to with detail and care. I highly recommend the balsamic glazed short rib. Of all of the dishes at our table(veal chop, snapper, etc) — my short rib was by far the favorite, a dish I won’t ever forget. The perfect degree of crisped outside with soft and delicious inside. Heaven in every bite. Great cocktail and wine selection, too.

Favorite restaurant in the world! Have to try the calamari it’s the best you’ll ever have. The dip that comes along with it is amazing! Also the roast chicken with risotto is great.

Hands down the best meal I have had in Naples. Highly recommend the Linguine with crab and the butterscotch vudino for dessert.

Living in Chicago makes me crave the short ribs w spaghetti even more. I order short ribs quite a bit and good restaurants and this is the only version that makes me crave it again. It may be a bit before we are back in Naples, but this will be our first night’s stop for certain. Other dishes are very very good and service is phenomenal. I will be back.

A must see place when in Naples, however it can get very busy during the weekends especially in season The food is great, but just a drink at the bar is also worth the visit, third Street is always active giving you lots of walking activity strolling by

My family and I had lunch here today and the experience was horrible. We have dined here several times for lunch before, and normally I would rate this restaurant 3 – 4 stars, but not today. Out waitress was non existent, when our food did finally arrive, she forgot to order the French fries for my son. My sons chicken tenders were good, we also ordered broccoli for him as he loves broccolini and his first bite he spit it out and said I don’t like these. My wife and I tried the broccolni and he was right. They were so bitter in was unpalatable! My wife ordered the snapper and no where on the menu did it say it was fried nor did the waitress mention. When her snapper arrived she tried the first bite and said«Someone killed this fish a second time!!!» So over cooked and dry, she had a couple bites and that was it. I had the fennel sausage pizza and it was good. Now we eat out a lot and I know from time to time they will not get all the dishes correct. However, listening to the tables around us today, everyone was experiencing problems with their meals and service! So whoever was the chef today should be fired and lack of service needs to be rectified immediately. At this point I doubt we will go back. There are to many other great restaurants to eat at in Naples.

Great atmosphere, incredible service(Corey was our waiter and we’ve probably never had a better server), and most importantly the food was so so so good. We got to sit up on the balcony(only 4 – 5 tables up there) and it was awesome for people watching and a quiet romantic dinner. Started with rice balls. Never had these treats before and for a fried appetizer they were very light and delicious. My wife had the 4 cheese ravioli with lobster and a lemon butter cream sauce. It was light, full of flavor and had a generous portion of fresh lobster. Incredible dish. I had the Balsamic Short Ribs, which I was told is a top seller. I see why. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The meat literally fell right off the bone. I loved it. Wrapped it up with a butterscotch crème brûlée typ dish(I can’t recall the exact name). It was a Corey suggestion and he nailed it. Creamy, light, with crunchy topping that was perfect. My highest recommendation here.

What a fantastic dinner! We started with the Arancini Alla Bolognese, the texture and flavor of these rice balls was stellar. Our entrees were all flavorful… pappardelle with veal sauce, short ribs, and black grouper. The smoked sauce on the pasta served with the short ribs was addictive with a flavor profile rarely tasted. Yummy! One of the best meals we’ve eaten! Service was on point as well.

The service was brutal to say the least and the food was pretty good but we didn’t love everything. The pasta we tried was a little too salty, the brussel sprouts we ordered as a side were a little too burnt, and the wine was not the right temperature. We waited over an hour for our entrees with no real explanation so that was disappointing. The atmosphere, especially outdoor patio truly is amazing. I would go back for a drink or maybe a dessert but wouldn’t spend the money or time on a full course meal.

Wish I could give this place a 3 ½ star rating. Been here before many times and overall I really like this restaurant. We sat outside which was pleasant. We split the Brussels sprouts side as an appetizer. Really tasty but a tad bit greasy. We then shared 2 pizzas between the 4 of us. The pizzas are always fine here but nothing to write home about overall. We do typically like the salads but the one we used to really enjoy they removed from the dinner menu unfortunately. Decent service, great wine and lovely ambience so I’m sure we will be back again.

I am a sucker for authentic Italian, beautiful scenery and romantic lighting. On that note, this restaurant had it all! First let me start off by saying that we did not have a reservation. We were told it was hard to get in here without one in advance– just so you know– you may have to plan ahead. In the beginning of the evening, we met with friends at Café Lurcat. We then asked the server if she could hook us up with reservations to Campiello. She said it wouldn’t be a problem. 20 minutes later, we are walking into Campiello like we owned the place. Maybe that’s the secret? I don’t know. Our server was very cool and friendly. This place is breathtaking. It’s elegant, and sexy and fun. It was so busy and completely full. I still am not completely sure how we got in, but I’m not asking too many questions. I ordered a peach tea type mixed drink and it was dangerous, because it was made so well, I couldn’t taste the alcohol. Smooth. We ordered the bruschetta, and it was the best I’ve had. It was very fresh with tomatoes and olive oil and the perfect amount of balsamic and herbs. For dinner I ordered the herbed chicken with rosemary potatoes. The best Rosemary potatoes I’ve ever had. Crunchy on the outside, steamy and soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken was also perfectly seasoned, and in fact covered with so many fresh herbs and seasonings, I was speechless. I have to say that was also in the top 3 best chicken dishes of my lifetime. Maybe it was that delicious peach drink that made everything that much tastier? I don’t know– I don’t care, because we will be back again, and I will order that drink again. :). This restaurant is a must if you are in the Naples area. If you want to score big points with your lady, make this the destination restaurant for date night. You can thank me for that tip ;)

Must try, and fits for all types and ages. The atmosphere here is great. When you walk up you see the outdoor dining area in the front. Great feel for having drinks or dinner with friends and groups. As it was just my wife and I, we ate inside. That is really the main restaurant and dining experience. Really nice inside, and the food was terrific. Tastes like really old Italian recipes that were passed down in the family. The pasta tomato sauce tastes great, with minimal ingredients… and you could see chunks of garlic and tomatoes. You know they made that sauce from scratch that day, it tasted that good. If you like the outdoor seating, they actually have another section in the middle or back of restaurant that was more of a courtyard. It was much more quiet and romantic, so it could be good for a couple, but also could be a great space to rent out and have a private party or reception. Even though you are outside there, it has an indoor feel as it is surrounded by the building… almost has a French New Orleans feel in that courtyard. At minimum you have to go there for drinks and enjoy the view.
