Hands down the finest dining on Block Island. Our meals there are without fail of gourmet quality. I can’t wait to go back, especially after our last visit: I accidentally forgot my credit card and only discovered this when I was halfway back to New York. They agreed to mail me the card without hesitation, even though this was in the middle of a crazy-busy holiday weekend. Kimberly’s staff: you are the best and we will be back!

Again, during the off-season, you’re grateful that anyone is open for dinner. We went to Kimberly’s based on Unilocal reviews. The atmosphere is warm and throw pillows in the booths are a nice touch. That said, the calamari was meh and my dinner — grilled shrimp over fried rice was way too salty. My husband proclaimed his steak fair to middling.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. Oysters on the Half shell and oysters BI style both were excellent! Will definitely go back here again.

One of the few restaurants open after Columbus Day. Everyone raves about lobster Mac and Cheese but I found it merely average. I understand the $ 30 is BI modified but it was a bit dry. The seafood fra diablo was very good and I’d probably get this next time, the shrimp and corn chowder and the pot stickers they had on special, the fried oysters and chicken sandwich got thumbs up but none were exceptional. Bartender messed up drinks, which happens, but it took a signal flare to get waitress’s attention. Once there she quickly, and graciously fixed. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, if I could go to 3.5 stars I would.

My husband and I just returned from a truly superb restaurant on Block Island, Kimberly’s! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a finer restaurant. From the moment we walked into the restaurant and were welcomed by the owner, Kimberly, we felt special. Kimberly truly cares! Our server, Elshia was one of the most superb waitresses we have had in quite sometime. Truly knowledgeable on the menu and also Block Island. This was our first visit to Block Island but won’t be our last. When we do return, Kimberly’s will definitely be our spot for a truly wonderful dinner. Wonderful ambience! Wonderful night! Food was fabulous!

Went here with my family very pleasant dinner. Waitress was attentive, craft beer selection was good and food was really good. We tried the boulliabais, lobster Mac and fra Diablo, all very good dishes. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful resturant, great food prepared to perfection at reasonable prices. The service was spotty, which we attributed to the very busy night. The house Pinot Grigio was flat and metallic tasting, but everything else was perfect. Most impressive is Kimberly is right out there working as hard as everyone else. This lady cares, and it shows. Bravo

Best place on island. Amazing shrimp curry so light and refreshing but full in flavor. The lobster bisque was also amazing as was the calamari. They were very fast. Gave me my soup free people they said it took too long but it wasn’t long at all. Server was very nice and personable. Nothing we ordered tasted bad at all Will come again !!

Kimberly’s Went to Kimberly’s tonight for dinner. It is my birthday today and wanted something special. My husband and I were not disappointed. Excellent place off the«main drag». But go if you want excellent food, excellent service and a new, clean, family friendly restaurant. We had the Beet Salad with feta cheese, roasted asparagus & peppers, and a citrus vinegarette dressing. Amazing. My husband had the Pan Seared Salmon– outstanding. I had the Open Face steak sandwich on Homemade Foccachia, served with hot French Fried Potatoes and Homemade lightly coated onion rings. Out of this world. Homemade Chocolate mousse– complete with a birthday candle for me! Go you won’t be disappointed

Our first time at Kimberley’s and it really delivered. The special lamb lollipops were amazing and large. Salmon and grilled veggies were perfectly done. The chef understands flavor. Wine and I love wine… well we had a very tasteful Pinot Grigio well poured. I’m very impressed will be back next time on the block.

I learned about this place from the taxi driver… Such an amazing find. Taxi driver said Kimberley’s has the best Mac n cheese on the island… Boy was he right. Baked right outta the oven. Full of fresh lobster, I may need to go back. The other meals people in my party got other dishes… First time all night everyone shut up and ate. Food was so good, not enough time for pictures. Highly recommended

We ended up at Kimberly’s after the wait at The Poor People’s Pub was too long for us. We stepped inside and the hostess(who was also our waitress) informed us that we just made it before their kitchen closed. I don’t like coming to a restaurant too close to closing time because I think it’s a little rude, but the service was friendly and attentive. I hesitated ordering the lobster mac n cheese because of the $ 28 price tag and the fact that there were mushrooms in it(not a huge fan of them, if you can’t tell). My boyfriend said it doesn’t matter as long as it was worth it. Well, it was definitely worth it. It was creamy and delicious, and it was hot, just what I needed on a chilly night. Even the mushroom was good and it nicely complemented the dish. There was so much lobster in it that left me full and satisfied. I would have this again, that’s for sure.

We tried here since it is new. We wanted to check it out. It is here Harry’s was. It was easy to find, next to BI I Market. We didn’t have a reservation but we had a booth seat. There was four of us. We loved our food. The only downfall was the acoustics. It was noisy when the place was full. The food was excellent. I had roasted duck. My husband had braised beef ribs tacos. Our friends had grilled roasted vegetables and a feta salad with watermelon and plain and simple white fish. We were impressed with the quality and freshness. It is highly recommended. We will come back the next summer.

Came for dinner at Kimberly’s(right next to the grocery store and bagel shop). It’s relatively new so we had never tried it before. They had a good wine and beer menu at very reasonable prices and our waiter was nice and very eager to please. The food, however, was very mixed. The cornbread served at the beginning was completely dried out. I tried the shrimp bisque(a pure cup of sweet cream — nothing else, not a single piece of shrimp!!!) and the spicy ginger littlenecks(the sauce just did not work — lemongrass, tomatoes and ginger — I thought it had sounded good but it was just off). The duck entrée was fine but was served on plain white rice with no sauce. Two friends got the salads however and both the arugula/corn and the feta/watermelon were large and very tasty. The mussels in curry sauce were also good. I think I just ordered completely wrong — the menu is massive so this unfortunately is probably going to happen often where some dishes are great and others really miss the mark.
