There is one on Thames but there is also one on Aquidneck Ave in Middletown. I love this place. Highly recommend the Atticus Lemon Biscuits, Jammies, and warmed ham & cheese croissants. Breakfast sandwiches are really great, and they have very good coffee too. We got a dessert for a dinner party here — flourless ganache — omg. O-M-G. The Aquidneck Ave location has a little breakfast bar with a TV, and a decent amount of indoor seating and outdoor seating when it’s warm out.

Good breakfast sandwiches and wraps. Decent sandwiches not bad salads. Outdoor seating is quaint and eccentric. Ideal for bikers and walkers as vehicle parking is not ideal. Pricing is typical of the area. Haven’t tried any of their artisan breads, but Provencal Bakery has been baking goods for the local market sine 1998. Available daily are baguettes, country, whole wheat, sourdough, italian and provencal. Look for Rye on Tuesdays, Asiago on Wednesdays, Whole Grain Tuesday through Saturday, Cranberry Pecan Tuesday through Sunday, Calamata Olive on Saturday.

A great bakery just off Thames in Newport. We happened upon this spot when we saw their sign on Thames. We were glad we stopped by. We picked up a fresh loaf of bread for dinner. Awesome; nice crust, wonderful interior. We also grabbed some pasta salad. That was really good! So good, my wife started making her own version at home. It neat setup inside the bakery. You walk in and there’s a small seating area to your left. On your right, there’s a case with a number of items. It’s raised off the ground, so it’s easy to see. Up behind that area, is a prep area. They make good use the of the space they have. There’s also an outside seating area. A really good find not that far off of Thames.

What a hidden gem, right down a side street on the heart of Thames St bussle. It’s a small place with two tables inside but a lovely outdoor patio area. We ordered two lobster rolls, which are discounted if you buy 2 :) and ice coffee. The roll was a New England style cut hot dog roll stuffed way over capacity with real, very large chucks of lobster. Well worth every penny! And the coffee was better than any Dunkin on any day. The staff members were polite and patient. Definitely recommend this place.

The kale salad with beets, goat cheese and pecans was nice. But it wasn’t worth $ 17.50 for a quart of it.
