McDonald’s

I went thru the drive thru and ordered a chicken wrap. On the first bite I found a large piece of a big plastic zip tie. I took it back in to the manager and she acted like she didnt even care. I wont be back.

I swore I would never write a Unilocal review for McDonald’s, but you know what they say about never saying ‘never’…
This particular McDonald’s sits north of Sickles High School along Gunn Highway extended (think Sheldon Road north) at the traffic light with South Mobley Road up in Odessa. And since no one else has ever reviewed this place… well, why not? =)
My business partner lives off of S. Mobley, and we often work out of his house, so I’ve frequently stopped in here to grab a breakfast sausage burrito, or a chicken biscuit, or just a Diet Coke on my way over to his house.
The service at the Mickey D’s drive-​through window is good, but inside the restaurant it can be hit or miss depending on who’s behind the counter and whether their co-​workers are on break and just «hanging out» while you’re trying to place your order. The folks working the drive-​through window are super busy whereas the folks at the front counter seem to be more, «la la la la… whatever».
The inside of the restaurant is kept clean, and the staff is frequently wiping down the tables, mopping the floors, and cleaning the bathrooms. No complaints about cleanliness.
The food at any McDonald’s is predictably consistent, and this place is no exception. You know what you’re going to order, you know the cost, and you know what to expect when you unwrap your meal and dive in face-​first.
I’ve given up eating at McDonald’s for lunch and dinner in an effort to eat healthier meals, but I still find myself sucked into the Happy Meal abyss when I’m hungry for a quick breakfast.
