Cute little shop! It’s small, but I love the décor and the huge menu posted on the left hand side made it pretty easy to order. SO MANY choices though! I took the recommendations of a few Unilocalers and tried the Vanilla Hazelnut and it was super yummy. The girl behind the counter was friendly and checked with me when I told her «easy boba» to make sure that I had a good amount that I was pleased with.
I’ll be back to try more flavors for sure. Thanks!

I just left here very happy and satisfied !! Like always but anyways I’m leaving my review because they were literally locking their doors but the owner let us back in to make us our drinks ! So polite and nice ! I always loved coming here and now another great experience in the books !! I love big straw so much!!!

My wife and I came on sunday and the boba were excellent. But, the girl that took are order rolled her eyes because my wife was trying to decide on what she wanted. All in all I recommend this establishment.

Bigstraw has been the go to spot for boba in this area for some time now and with good reason. On most occasions this place will satisfy any boba/​smoothie craving.
The location isn’t always the most convenient due to the lack of parking and constant pedestrian crossings. Bigstraw also doesn’t really offer itself to be a place for people to gather which I would think could add even more to an already good thing. This place is great by Oxnard standards for sure.

Awesome place. Their boba and fruit jelly is delicious. Taro, Blueberry banana, are two of many favorites! It does get busy but it’s worth it

This is my second favorite boba place in Oxnard. They have good boba thy doesn’t taste like chalk and that’s huge. The employees are nice enough and fast at making your drink. The ship is conveniently located in the center point mall and is very cute inside.

Love this place. Many different choices and everyone is always friendly. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that their other location has better tasting Boba. But this is closer so I’ll still usually come to this one.

Love this place! The employees were very friendly and helpful in choosing flavors. My mom was new to Boba and wanted a small amount of Boba in her drink. She said 4 or 5. I laughed and said I wanted exactly 13. The girl at the counter, Stephanie, smiled and said it was not a problem, and she didn’t mind counting them out. We thought it was funny, but it also showed that they care about their customers and are sensitive to the wants of people new to the drink! Thank you Stephanie! We are from the area so we will definitely return!!!

Best Boba in Oxnard! Right off 2 major streets channel islands and saviers! Has a ton of variety for boba lovers. About 50 different choices. So try a couple every time you visit!

The thai tea was not authentic. It was really bitter. Comparing this place to a boba place in LA, this place is terrible but otherwise, it’s decent for the area. The service is good. However, it’s pretty pricey compared to LA, $ 4.50 for a large with boba. If you have no other option, you should try this out, but if you do, stick to your place!

I’ve visited this place plenty of times and I’d recommend to stick to the fruit flavored drinks. I had tried a Thai iced tea boba at a different location and thought I’d try it here… BIGGEST MISTAKE I COULD HAVE DONE!!! I don’t like giving negative reviews but the taste of that drink made me want to vomit! It was extremely bitter, and the taste could not come off my tongue even after brushing my teeth. I was extremely disappointed by that. On a brighter note their piña colada, lemonade, leeche, cantelope, and strawberry-​kiwi are very good. But notice I only mentioned fruit-​floored ones. Any tea or coffee flavors I highly do not recommend getting.

The food here is decent. I would probably give this a four stars for the food. However, there is a big fish (maybe a flower horn fish?) in a tiny tiny tank at the front counter. I feel terrible for him. I can’t go in here anymore because I feel to bad for the poor fish bobbing in place in his tank. His tank says he gives his mom and dad good luck, so it makes me think his mom and dad likely care for him but can we get the guy a bigger tank please!!!

It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but its decent enough to fill the void when my heart is longing… I usually get 2 large ones (not kidding… fellow Unilocaler Eddie M. ‘s eyes almost popped out of his skull when he heard me order) so that I can drink one in 5 minutes and the other one for the road. it usually works out quite well.
oh, and unlike the many tea shops in LA that don’t want to pay tax, they take card! yay!

This place is ridiculous! I can never visit SoCal without a stop to this place.
Their boba is consistently perfect. Never had a ball that was hard in the middle, just perfectly squishy throughout, but not too gummy.
I ALWAYS get the Taro. It tastes so fresh. Good thing I have a big family so that I can sample the rest of them as well. Our favorites include: Tropical Blend (Mix of different tropical flavors… sooooo good), cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple.
