My husband and I decided to go to Longhorn because we were talking about how we have not been here in a long time as we tend to have our regular haunts. We also had a Darden gift card we could use so we figured what the heck. My husband can always go for steak and he did, the Outlaw. It was cooked perfectly. We like our steaks medium rare. He took half of it home. I felt like going with something lighter so I went with the grilled Hawaiian salmon. I got the 7 oz cut, which was plenty. You can also get a 10 oz cut. The salmon is served over spinach and I chose rice as my side. It is topped with a ginger soy BBQ sauce and pineapple chutney. I would have liked if the chutney and the sauce had a little zing or spice to it, but overall it was still pretty tasty. Both entrees come with salads. Also, the bread is really good. Service was also good so overall we had no complaints. We need to remember to go here more often!

It was a Tuesday night and the place was busier than they expected to be as they did not have enough coverage. Let’s start with the bad and that was with the service, mainly our server Alexa. It was supposed to be a night of celebration and we had a server with no personality or enthusiasm for her job let alone her customers. Dinner was practically served and I had to ask if we could have bread when other tables got theirs with their drinks. Throughout the entire evening it was a passing question of how everything was, never a pause at the table and wait for a response. Then to absolutely end the evening on a sour note, she delivers our free dessert with the check while I’m in the restroom not even asking if I wanted coffee. Oh yeah about the check, they conveniently added a large beer that we never ordered. So frustrating, for the price you pay for everything you can’t even get decent service. For the good, the food was very good, my sirloin was cooked to perfection the stuffed mushrooms were very tasty and they gave you a nice salad. Overall rating just below 3 stars, being generous with a 3 star rating.

Four years ago was the last time I visited this restaurant. Half the restaurant was empty, and there were dirty dishes all over the tables. The steak was like leather. I like steak houses such as Charlie’s and Berns, but Longhorn is only three minutes from my house. I was craving a medium rare steak, so we decided to give it a shot tonight having the lowest of expectations. They have changed management and I have to tell you the food was INCREDIBLE.. I ordered a fillet mignon medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The salad was fresh and delicious and the Parmesan crusted spinach was out of this world. My fiancé ordered the prime rib and it was not only delicious and juicy, and the horseradish sauce was the real deal. The only reason I don’t give this a five-star is because I believe that rating is reserved for restaurants like Bern’s, where it’s not just a dinner, but an experience. However given the choice of Charlie’s or this Longhorn location, I would come here again in a heartbeat. The new management is excellent and I have zero complaints about dinner, service, or cleanliness. Bön appétit!

This location always has delicious food with great customer service and a nice atmosphere. We’ve had date nights and big parties here with kids included; never waited longer than 30 minutes even when it was packed.

I was craving a burger like no other. Unfortunately, there are no good burger joints around Palm Harbor so I opted for Long Horn. Well, it was good. It was cooked just right. However, I asked for an egg and they said they didn’t have any. I insisted he ask, considering, what kitchen doesn’t have eggs. He came back with a resounding NO! What?! No egg! The burger was good, not all I expected but never the less it satisfied my craving. The fries were below average. Nothing special about them at all.

The most tough so called prime rib! They just can’t get it right. They aren’t the only restaurant that doesn’t know to cook prime rib; can’t find a good in Pinellas County yet! Totally embarrassed me because I brought guests and suggested they order that !

We came in an hour before closing. we noticed many of the employees talking about leaving and trying to finish up. However… our waiter JB was awesome. He checked on us regularly and gave us good recommendations. He never once appeared like he had or wanted to be anywhere else but helping his patrons. Food was great and came out quickly. I recommend the parmesan crusted chicken. The portion was huge and it was delish!

Amid a mounting hunger, Longhorn Steakhouse was there to save the day. Offering everything from deliciously prepared food to exceptional service my experience was fantastic. Ample parking and easy access directly from US19, you’ll find a cozy and warm atmosphere inside with options for both table/booth or bar seating. The food came out quick and hot(during a busy dinner hour) and I can still imagine the prime rib melting in my mouth. My girlfriend had the Ribeye and it was also prepared very well with a juicy and marbled texture. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped explain a few of the dessert options(well enough to sell us on some seasonal sweets!) All in all I would recommend this location to friends and family and will look forward to returning in the near future!

Ribeye with the 7 pepper is juicy and tasty. I got the new 6 oz filet topped with lobster and holendais sauce with asparagus for my side. Really fast service and can’t go wrong with a ribeye or filet. We come in for a late dinner at 830pm and there is never a wait.

Was truly wanting a ribeye, we live in a condo in Dunedin where we aren’t allowed to grill! So we travel to Longhorn, first the draft beer was way way over priced but it was ok because I could taste what was coming. We got seated pretty promptly, but we sat and sat and guess what we sat some more, by the way, we were sitting the host stand was ten feet in front of us, and there was one on the mic an two additional doing something other than paying attention to detail!!! In short you got it we left once I ask for s server after 10 – 15 minutes, they came back an stated they where confused because I already had a beer from the bar, I hope they’re able to change the way of taking care of the guest!!!

We went for the steak and got it! Hubby got 18 Oz ribeye and ate it all! It was done to perfection. Mine was Flo’s filet and lobster tail. .yummy! It wasn’t too crowded and service was excellent! We were so filled from salad, bread, entrée and our potato, loaded, baked that we went home without dessert! We’ll be back!

Wow! what an unexpected pleasure! I odered the 12 oz prime rib. Succulent and perfect are just two of the adjectives that are are this lovely cut of beef. The server David was great, attentive without being overbearing. He made the day. Thanks again for a nice luch with my friend.

we ordered our drinks, then food and had to ask twice for the house bread. we got the bread after 25 minutes of waiting at the same time as the food came out. I am not a fan of the pop on the menu and ordered water. I never was asked once if I would like more. the others who ordered beer got frequent refills. it is hard to chew on over cooked food without a liquid, but I am wondering since water is free and beer is not is this the reason that the waitress did not offer me more water? I ordered a well done t bone steak and it came out medium. they put it back on the fire and it was very charred, black around the edges. I am not a good cook, is it possible to cook a steak well done without burning it. I could actually scrape the burnt off of the top of the steak. also, the beer on the menu was not available.

Used to come here often for dinner then moved out of area. Stopped in for a business lunch, had the salad and chowder lunch special which was great.

Second time I’ve been here in last couple of years. This time I had the Flat Iron Steak that was really good. I asked for medium rare and it was just slightly over that, but it was still very tender and juicy. It was also nicely seasoned. The craft beer on tap that I had was also good. Like most steakhouses, the décor is full of dark woods and carpeting, but each booth did have their own overhead light fixture. Nothing worse than a place where you can’t see the menu or your food. This was not the case here. All in all, this was definitely a good value place for dinner. I admit I am a bit surprised at this from a «chain» restaurant, but it is a pleasant surprise.

Honestly I would have to give it maybe a 3.5~3.75 star, but a 4 star will have to do. I went in ready for steak and we got a steak. My boyfriend and I decided to go for the Porterhouse for 2, which is 30oz. For $ 43 we got an 30oz porterhouse, 2 sides and 2 salads. Worth the price? Hmm, maybe. yes! The steak was ordered as medium rare but did come out a little more rare. I didn’t mind because the steak was juicy and tender with nice char marks. The sides we went for were mashed potatoes and sweet potato with brown sugar. Not very impressive but was still tasty. The salads and complementary bread was also not too impressive and used was a filler before steak time. I thought the steak was pretty big in size for two people but if I really had to, I could finish that all by myself! Man, beast mode. The only reason I can’t give LongHorn all 5 stars is because of the service. While dining we were always left with empty glasses and the server would always just drop off our food and run off. My boyfriend witnessed our server walking pass our tables several times without filling our glasses nor checking up but he had enough time to continuously talk to the table behind us. We were also handed the check without even suggesting any dessert, which I find a big customer service disappointment. I would come back for the steak and possible try other dishes off the menu. A big turn off will definitely be the service.

Just had the 16oz prime rib at The Longhorn steakhouse and it was delicious. I was greeted and waited on by Joe who did a fantastic job. He was very patient explaining the various specials and his recommendations. I knew what I wanted before I came in. He checked on me quite often making sure I was a happy customer. The prime rib was huge and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back to try some of the other steaks that The Longhorn Steakhouse offers. Good job

We had a great meal here tonight. The food is very nice quality for a chain steak restaurant. The 2 for $ 30 menu is a great value. You get two salads, two entrees(including a couple 8 oz. steak options), and either an appetizer or a dessert. Just a tip — the Chocolate Stampede dessert is awesome, but also big enough for 4 people to share. Great food, great service, and a great experience.

I’ve been to other Longhorn locations and have never been truly impressed, but tonight was different. This location is apparently run with an efficient hand and a good manager. We arrived around 8:30 pm and it wasn’t busy at all, this was good, because we got seated very quickly. Once seated, our waitress came over and took our drink orders, since I ordered coffee, and they had to brew some fresh, it took a little while longer, but fresh coffee made me not mind at all. We ordered our starter of Pretzel sticks with beer cheese and honey mustard & bacon bacon dipping sauce. These were –so– good! The cheese sauce was decadent. Our mains were a burger and Napa Grilled Chicken which is essentially a grilled chicken breast with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and portobello mushrooms in a light white wine sauce. They were quite tasty, especially with the sides of a salad, asparagus & Brussels sprouts au gratin, finally a way to get me to eat those little cabbages. I will admit, we had a small issue with our meal, my plate had a hair on it. I brought it to the waitress’ attention, and she quickly removed the plate, had it remade and since my husband had eaten his meal in the interim, had the manager remove the cost of my meal, this was not expected, but it was greatly appreciated. The service was excellent. We would most certainly come back again!

Sehr gutes Steakhaus mit nettem Ambiente… wir haben viele andere in den letzten Jahren ausprobiert und kommen immer wieder zu dem Ergebnis, dass es sich nicht lohnt etwas anderes zu suchen.
