She had the salmon, I had the roasted chicken w/allagash white draft beer. Salmon was on-point. Roasted chicken was crunchy on the exterior, juicy on the inside. Quality. Patio seating was a good call though if Palm Springs is 100°+ you may want to consider indoor seating.

Amazing amazing amazing! The ginormous meatball is out of this world! I had the apple pear salad and my boyfriend had the TY’s chopped salad both the best salads we ever had. The drinks are great too our favorite was the patio pounder. So yummy! The service is spectacular and if you are lucky enough to grab a private patio you have amazing views of the plaza and downtown Palm Springs strip. A must visit!

Been here a few times. Felt it was time to review the place because we had such a nice time. Great spot to people watch and enjoy really good food. Girls night started off with sharing a ginormous meatball and some fun drinks. Bartender was super attentive and the food was great. Shared a Caesar salad and a prosciutto + black mission fig pizza. Super yummy. All 4 of us loved it.

Along with another couple we enjoyed a fantastic happy hour on the patio yesterday. The food and drinks were excellent and made even better by our very attentive waiter/bartender who could not do enough for us. His name was Christopher and it was his attention to detail that will keep us coming back… like again tonight.

Great staff. Love the pizza. New management cleaned up the missing customer service so everything is good now. During high season, there is a wait, but well worth it.

Great restaurant! We celebrated our friends anniversary on the patio. Great experience. Desiree, our server, was amazing. She overheard our conversation about the anniversary and did some small things that made a huge impact on all of us. Thank you for making it a great day. Also, Ernesto was great too!

My boyfriend and I went there on a quiet Wednesday night after I flew in from Virginia. It wasn’t busy and we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was great and was very helpful. I ordered a pizza, half pepperoni and half of the prosciutto white. It was great! My boyfriend ordered the Bloody Mary Burger and also loved it! We left very satisfied and can’t wait to be back this weekend! I can’t remember for sure what our server’s name was but I think it was Stacey?

We discovered this restaurant on Unilocal. We were looking for new place to have dinner that neither of us had eaten at in Palm Springs. We came for their happy hour appetizers which were discounted on a special menu and were very surprised at the unique choices and deliciousness of everything. I had fish tacos, calamari, and spicy tempura roll. Joe had a matchbox meat pizza with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. It was so good to be ordered one to go! We highly recommend this restaurant.

The chop salad is the best. Order it $ 12. The pizza is top tier. I had the meat pizza. Amazing flavor. The service was terrific. I came at 4:00 so it was not busy. The happy hour specials are really good and great value. I will eat here again soon. My new fav

Recommended by our hotel and we were very disappointed with our entrée’s. Cream of crab soup was really good but that was it. I had the caesar salad which was just ok. I didn’t know it was going to come with whole anchovies all over the salad so some bites tasted so fishy! My husband had the bloody mary burger and he wasn’t impressed either. Drinks were just ok too. The balcony seating is pretty cool and the reason we wanted to try this place. We had 2 servers which was confusing and even with two, we had to flag down other people for service. Maybe we’ll try again next time we’re out in Palm Springs, who knows…

Despite some of my reservations about coming to a chain. This place was very good. The service and atmosphere were lovely. Our waitress suggested a few items on the menu including the meatball — which I have to say you must get. It was awesome.

Tonight’s dinner was just another testament to the incredible service and quality of food this team creates for guests. Lori our kind server was so knowledgeable about the menu options and what new items we could try. Lori was so helpful and definitely someone that every guest should have the pleasure of meeting. I can’t close without a big shoutout to Mark for his constant work at exceeding guests expectations. What a team you have, thank you!!! Previous review: Great food, great service — thank you Desiree and Mark. The Ginormous Meatball is amazing, the wood fired pizzas, you can go wrong!

Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here! Good food for Happy Hour, decent drinks, great staff, and a fun experience. I liked that they had free little matchbooks to match it’s name and they were located upstairs and had both indoor and outdoor seating. Also, I really liked their menu design. Very clean and minimalistic. My bf and I were seated in what they called the«Romeo ans Juliet» balcony, where it had a single table for two on a little balcony overlooking the main street. It was really cute! Too bad it randomly started POURING rain 15 minutes after we sat down so we moved inside. I would have loved to sit out there the entire meal but alas, that’s not the restaurant’s fault. We ate purely off the HH menu. We ordered this… cheese bread thing? I don’t remember the name but it was SOGOOD. The Matchbox meat pizza was perfect size off HH and was also pretty tasty. We also had the HH fish tacos which were also yummy. Bf had the jalapeño margarita and it was fairly good. I didn’t mind the taste, but I’m a wine drinker so I had be Cab. Servers were attentive and patient, as we were a little difficult in deciding what we wanted. Both of them were very friendly. I enjoyed my experience as a whole here :)

Came here during happy hour from 4−6pm– they have most popular items on the happy hour menu which is a bargain! We ordered 2 appetizers– the Brushetta and the calamari. I would rate them both a 3 on a scale of 1 – 10. The Brushetta was not fresh, the bread was too toasted and the tomatoes were way too salty. The calamari had a funky taste and I preferred not to eat it. We ordered to pizzas, smaller version under happy hour which were pretty good! The veggie was really yummy and I like the thin crust! As for drinks, i ordered the jalapeño marg which def had a kick which was not too much to my liking. Overall, our server was attentive and served us well. The ambiance seems ideal for a group or a date. I was disappointed with the quality of the food since it is somewhat known to be hyped up.

Ambience. A– Service. B– Food. A Price. B Modern Italian. Large family style settings. Sectioned off. Nice outdoor patios. Service. Friendly seating. Timeliness is hit and miss. Runner server serving food didn’t describe what were the dishes. Server was friendly and helpful. PiZzas at nice thin crust. Great flavor on all 5 piZzas ordered. Loved all he unique salads. Dessert takes a while to come out. We ordered 3 different desserts and were warned it would take 20 mins. Hmmm? Must have been the made to order bread pudding which was delicious. Prices run on mid range side but worth the quality of product you’re getting. I’ll be back. They have a great happy hour! Between 4 – 6 pm daily.

Came here with a large group and the service was great. We ordered pretty much every item on the menu. I had the rib eye steak which was just okay. The crab soup was okay too. The pizzas looked pretty good, but I was told it was just okay as well. The salmon was okay too. The dessert was okay. All in all, the food was okay I suppose. The service was great. The ambience was fantastic.

I want to start by saying that we probably screwed up by not getting pizza. It looked really good as it came out. The place from the outside and the bar area is aesthetically pleasing. The fire place with Matchbox etched out is very nice. The rest of the place though is HUGE and feels very much like a chain restaurant, which is okay but we thought it would be a bit more quaint. I digress. The food we had was good. I had a pork-chop with cheesy cauliflower. We got a bottle of wine and the price was decent. It was the bone shaker Zin and we paid about $ 35 for it. That’s about a $ 15-$ 20 markup which is standard. We went back here the next night for a night cap and we could have walked off without paying with how slow the service was. However, the staff, when around, were very nice. Overall: B

Simply put, I love this place. I must have had good luck as I walked up and got a prime seat at the fire bar around 7pm for dinner on a Sunday and within five minutes the whole thing filled up. Since I was flying solo I was relying on liquid courage to help me chat with people and make some friends, which thankfully I did when the couple sitting next to me were also visiting for the first time so we all dissected the menu together. I went with the wedge and steak salad($ 24 but fabulous), three blueberry lemondrop martinis, and finished with a cheesecake thing. Next time I’d love to try the calamari with jalapeño jelly. Can’t wait to return! See you at the fire bar!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the food, ambience and service at this very large restaurant. We went there for the salads and appetizers thinking«No way we are going to eat pizza in Palm Springs, being from Chicago!» Guess what? As soon as we walked by the wood-burning pizza oven and saw some of the pies being served, we changed our minds. They have plenty of interesting combinations or you can make your own pie. They are not cheap — $ 13-$ 15 for a small that could serve one or roughly $ 23 for a large that would serve 2 to 3 people. Our server Errol was very good. He was attentive but not overbearing. He guided us as to how much to order and did not push extra food on us. We started with the gigantic meatball which was very large, not sure I would exactly call it gigantic, well maybe it was. If you do order the gigantic meatball keep in mind that the marinara sauce around it is extremely flavorful. This makes for difficult choices after it as most items you taste will seem mild or bland after the highly flavored and concentrated sauce on the gigantic meatball. We split a small pizza 50 – 50 with meat lovers on one side and the prosciutto fig and honey with arugula on the other. The meat lovers could stand the follow up to the gigantic meatball, the fig and prosciutto was a little too mild and sweet without adding some crushed red pepper. They have an extensive drink, beer and wine list for a restaurant of this type. Looks like they offer pretty good deals at happy hour from 4 to 6PM and we will return for those.
