We had been to Ruby’s in Palm Springs OK n several past visits. We had good me! prices so we returned on February 2016. Menu offered«the best Corned Beef Hash you’ve ever tasted» so I ordered it. This was actually in the bottom 2 I’ve had. I believe e it was from a can, not fresh cooked Corned Beef. My eggs over medium were scrambled and the waiter was inattentive enough that I decided not to send them back. Overall it was a very disappointing meal and we are unlikely to return.

Not bad. It was clean, but could use a little updating. The food was not mediocre. I had the the turkey burger and it was good. Not dry like some places do to the ground turkey. The hostess was very nice and made me laugh. Our waiter was also very nice. I would go back!

Great service, really good food and reasonably priced. We stayed in Palm Springs for a week and went to Rubys every morning for breakfast.

My husband and I were looking for a bite to eat during our stay in Palm Springs so we decided to give Ruby’s a try. We both had the De’Lite’ful turkey burger with French fries. BESTTURKEYBURGERIVEHADIN A WHILE. Our service was good; the waitress was very attentive which we appreciated. Overall, a great cozy place to have a good burger.

Ruby’s Diner immediately reminded me of a Johnny Rockets restaurant when I walked in the door. Not that that’s bad or good, it just is what it is. Apparently, Rubie’s has been around for a long time as a chain, and it is standard fast diner fare. Burgers shakes sandwiches etc. I didn’t think it was great, my bacon cheese burger with blue cheese was just ok, but it wasn’t bad either, it was simply another in a long line of diner — like restaurants I’ve tried. As I said, my burger was good, but didnt jump out at me as something soecial. My shake and my onion rings were both very good, but my fries were mediocre at best. My daughter had the fried shrimp and fish and chips, shocker, but she liked them. My niece was able to get a burger on a gluten free roll which made her happy… It’s got to be tough having to eat gluten free and finding places that can accommodate you. My sister-in-law also had a bacon cheeseburger and she kind of agreed with me that it was just okay. Nothing spectacular nothing terrible. They did mess up our shake order a bit… we ordered the following shakes: Strawberry Banana Salted Caramel Double dark chocolate Cookie dough But instead of the cookie dough the waiter brought us two Double Dark Chocolates… which weren’t spectacular as by the end your glass is 1⁄3 of the way filled with chocolate chips. I was hoping for more here, but we walked away full and I guess sometimes that’s gotta be enough.

I’m not a fan of chain places. I shouldn’t be surprised that this one didn’t really do it for me. Our waitress was incredibly pleasant. She was a redeeming feature. We were seated in the back section, where no one was seated. I don’t mind that, usually. I thought we might get forgotten back there, but our waitress was good about checking on us. I got a basic burger and fries. They were fine, nothing to write home about. The chili was a little strange. Clean restaurant. Everyone working seemed to be on top of their game. Just average food, unfortunately.

Went to Palm Springs for the weekend sept 25 for my boyfriends birthday. My parents had told us there was a Rubys in town ahead of time(my boyfriend and I love) so we were planning on eating dinner here one night. Needless to say we will never return to this location. First we walked in and no one was anywhere around to seat us. A good 3 minutes went by. My parents had our daughter and were strolling down the main drag, I had accidentally forgotten her bottle was in my purse and we called my parents to walk back and meet us real quick, we dashed out the door, and as were walking out an older waitress was walking in and gave us the WORST look EVER. So we meet up, give them the bottle and come back(not even gone 5 minutes) We walk back in the door and the same waitress was at the front counter, her name was Rebecca. She starts to grab us menus and then says«were you two just in here?» we respond yes, she says«and then left and came back???» we say«yes.» She seats us with her shitty attitude, continuing to give us the rudest looks and making us feel so uncomfortable from her vibe and then states«so you couldn’t find anywhere better to go eat huh!?» So rude. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE, they were slow, they didn’t refill drinks, they didn’t come back to see if we needed anything else. We waited FIFTEEN minutes for them to come pick up the bill so we could get the hell out of there. We finally flagged down another waitress when we finally caught sight of one and asked if she will just take it so we could leave. Not to mention there was only about 6 other parties in the whole place. We over heard the table next to us, two ladies, talking to each other about how rude Rebecca was being to us and how long we’ve been waiting for everything… Save yourself the hassle. Don’t eat here.

I had breakfast at this restaurant one morning during my stay in Palm Springs, CA. The restaurant is a cute old fashion styled restaurant. The décor is eye-catching and the motorized train that went around the restaurant was amusing. It was perfectly located on the main strip in Palm Springs downtown and they offered both outside and inside seating. The menu was vast and that made it so difficult to make a choice for breakfast. The service was great and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. The food portions were large and the food was delicious. I regret not trying them for lunch during my stay.

Cool well I have to say I tried the Hickory burger. It was awesome cooked medium, the fries were delicious… everything about the burger was great the bun was soft the meat was good bacon was good the whole thing was good I was very satisfied. We had great service Elaina was our server she did a awesome job. The only thing I can suggest is on Sundays they close at 9 so make sure that you get your order in or anything extra and before 9 because kitchen closes right at 9 on the dot. we were also treated with a apple pie and ice cream which was fantastic I am very picky about apple pie and I have to say this apple pie was really good. Probably my second best apple pie I have ever eaten. Number one still goes to the Julian Pie Company in Julian California. But anyway my whole experience was great and I would definitely go back there again and I would definitely recommend my friends there.

Ruby’s is adorable. Super cute diner feel, great service in a fun atmosphere, and prices are great. They have a fun dessert menu and the tuna melt I had was really good. If you are looking for a laid back dining experience with traditional diner fare, this is the place! Really glad we stopped in, I would definitely go back!

Who doesn’t love a good rubys diner? What I love most about rubys is the overall consistency in taste in each state. I have eaten there for all meals of the day and I have never been disappointed. This particular one is tucked into the heart of the downtown shopping plaza. They offer outdoor seating with misters on the table to cool you off or a huge inside seating area with wonderful ac units! I love the way this store is decorated they have a Moving train coming down out of the cieling. It is fun to watch!

I had the half and half soup and sandwich which was really good, my boyfriend had the super burger and said it was really good also. Before we are we had the nachos and there were surprisingly delicious over all a great laid back dinner

Cant really accurately rate my review on here as this was my first time dining here and it was their anniversary and a burger and fries were like $ 1.86 or something cheap. It was packed and a line out the door. The burgers were great and took another order to go for dinner. Service was almost non existent as the place was just totally packed. I’ll be back again to check out some of the other good stuff I saw on the menu when there are not a million people waiting outside. lol

L’authentique chaîné de Diner californienne. Décor typique digne de Mad Men.

I’m a big Ruby’s fan. We used to go to the Rancho Mirage location all the time for breakfast. This location is ok. Service is usually friendly but not too attentive. The cutlery, glasses, etc, seem to have leftover gunk on them a lot of the time(gross). The food is tasty but VERY salty. I end up drinking a gallon of water within an hour of eating there. So it’s not the best place there is to eat in the Coachella Valley, but I keep getting pulled back for some reason(mostly by the corned beef hash stack breakfast).

Ruby’s is always good. The burgers are on point every time. If your in Palm Springs try to get patio seating, you can people watch. The shakes are great with a huge variety of flavors. Today I was extremely full with the Cobb burger so I skipped the shake but the burger was great. Enjoy
