Why do both of the locations off of Ramon seem to underwhelm its customers? I’m from the Los Angels area, and have to say that the Panda Expresses are a lot better in there than they are in the desert. This location is probably the smallest I’v ever seen. So when Unilocal asks me if this place is good for groups, I will have to say«no.» There are two tables outside, so I guess they technically have an outdoor seating area. I found the staff to be somewhat awkward. When my guest and I reached the cash register, the girl working the register asked her coworker if my guest and I were paying together. This was weird for two reasons. 1. There was a line and only one employee serving food, why bother her with a question if you don’t have to. 2. There was no need to bother her, you could’ve asked us! We were standing right in front of her, waiting to pay. The two entrées were good(Kung Pow and Teriyaki Chicken) but I asked for double veggies and the veggies were wilted and not very fresh. I can’t believe i’m saying this but it looks like I’ll have to go to the Cathedral City location instead, when in the area. Lesser of two evils, if I’m really craving Panda.

My daughter, grand daughter and myself stopped in in the late afternoon. The store was not busy, just 4 people inside and a family group sitting outside enjoying the weather. We ordered our food, and my daughter was very happy they had just whipped up a fresh batch of Orange Chicken, their fav. I had the Mushroom Chicken. It was pipping hot. I was a bit disappointed that my meal didn’t have much chicken in it. It was mainly zuccini. While I was eatting, I witnessed one of the cooks walk up to the first entrée, I believe It was the new shrimp dish, he stuck a tooth pick into one of the shrimps and pop it into his mouth, in plain sight. If that wasn’t bad enough, just moments later I saw another employee do the same thing! At that point i knew this was common practice. If Panda express has a meal plan, or if cooks must taste what they cook, please have them graze out of the sight of your guests eating in the dining room. Dude was looking straight at me as he snatched up that nugget, and popped it into his mouth. I’m rating 3 stars. The food was hot. Service was prompt. The dining room was clean. I deducted 2 stars for the popped into mouth nuggets.

Very nice casual dining conveniently located plenty of parking. Nine dollars for a small bowl of rice over priced would not dine here again.

no greeting upon arrival. CLAUDIAWASRUDE ! I personally witnessed KELSEY full the meal container FULL for the white man before me in-line. My same size container had one measured scoop of rice and noodle(mixed) This also applied to the meal selections. SHOCKING difference in the size… I dont know how to take such treatment. either it is racial or sexist… eitherway, I felt this practice was most unfair. I mentioned this and asked WHY was HE given so much more food than MINE ??? CLAUDIA whispered to KELSEY — that is the policy. I asked then WHYWASTHEWHITEMAN ahead of me not treated to the same amount and KELSEY said«I AMNOT A RACISTS !!!»… I rest my case ! I am going to report this location to my chapter of the NAACP. AARP and Unilocal. BLACKS are clearly NOTWELCOMEATTHISPANDAEXPRESS. BEWARE. this was also proven when a BLACKSOLDIER came in. ordered and when paying — asked for a military discount. CLAUDIA told him NO !! I have witnessed soldiers getting a 10% discount in the recent past… BECAUSE he was BLACK was the only thing I could think was the difference. I spoke up and said«YES, Panda DOESGIVE A military discount» then KELSEY whispered to CLAUDIA and claudia rolled her eyes and gave the soldier the discount(after he was asked to show his military ID — which HEDID). Panda is already losing customers at this location… uit is always dirty. messy and trays always without food. I CANGIVEYOUTWOGOODREASONSWHY… CLAUDIAANDKELSY… PANDACANDOBETTER.

Hello everyone, We visited this Panda Express at 5:20 pm on a Friday. We went inside to get an order for take out. We got our fried rice and when we went around for the entrees… eeewww ! The pans were are nearly empty, and what food was present was most lacking in FRESHNESS and QUALITY. There was one chicken dish that barely passed for edible, and so we reluctantly each selected that one as we were not keen on simply leaving and going elsewhere. After eating the meal at home, leaving would have been a far superior choice. There was one guy«cooking»(or rather he should have been cooking) and 3 ladies standing behind the counter talking to one another. This Panda Express is officially off the list of our dining establishment selections.

I was in the mood for something spicy, so at the cashier’s recommendation, I got the Kung Pao Chicken to go. While the chicken had a decent enough flavor, it was far from what I would consider spicy — and for six bucks and change, I would like for them to scale back the quantity of rice a bit, and toss in more Kung Pao. Panda Express will do in a pinch, but when there’s a real Chinese restaurant only 30 feet away, that would have to be quite a pinch.

Panda Express is simplistic Chinese food — take low quality deep fried breaded chicken and sauté them in a box full of sweetened grease, there you have it, American Chinese at its best. In this store I was delighted to have«Black Pepper Celery»(I ordered black pepper chicken, it had none) and stale noodles… Oh well.

Dried out trays of food. Staff that were too busy talking in personal conversations to pay attention to customers. Sticky table tops. Who ever owns this business needs to do some training or get new people because this place is a downer.

We had a two gift cards for Panda Express. I tried to use them but the scooping spoon girl behind the glass would not let me. After sneering at the gift cards, she gave us portions small enough to starve a gulag prisoner. Apparently it says somewhere on the gift card that whoever uses such a card it is a cheapskate and deserves to starve and hopefully die. So I said to myself, «No worries, I’ll just purchase another side order with my credit card.» And so I did. Biggest mistake I’ve ever made in my life. I paid $ 2.07 for three(3!!) pieces of crab rangoon. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed that the crab rangoon was actually made of gold, so the next day I had it appraised at a local pawn shop. They were not, and by that time they were also stale. «No worries, I’ll just feed them to my dog.» The pawnshop owner said. And so he did, and the dog promptly died… of suicide.

I’ve actually been here several times. It’s near the airport(where I work), it’s fast, and it’s cheap. And it’s a nice break from burgers and Mexican(which are pretty much the only dining options where I live). Unfortunately, this visit wasn’t the best. Usually the food is well prepared and tasty(but keep in mind that you’re at Panda Express and not a 3-star restaurant in Manhattan). On this particular visit, every entrée I chose was one of the«pay a dollar extra» choices… I should have saved my money! It was pretty late in the evening when I stopped by, so I’m guessing my food had been under those lamps for a wile. Don’t get me wrong though… normally I like this place.

Bring back the BBQ pork! What can I say it’s Panda. Chinese food at its worst, but we all go there from time to time. The staff here are not very nice. Go to the Sunrise location for better service!

One of my favorite fast food places to visit. I come for the food, not for the service which is a close kin to Subway’s. I often find that at the check out I have to look at my plate to see what I actually ended up with. In a world where people have to look at their plates to see what they ordered it must be difficult to find employees that can walk guests through the line of selections over and over and over and over without loosing their minds. «Would you like steamed or fried rice or Chow Mein?», would be enough to send me right out the door! So they get a free pass from me on having service that often rushed, unfriendly and less than acceptable at most other places. But I do think that this would be an area that Operations could improve upon. Why is this area ALWAYS the weak link at all of the Panda’s I’ve visited? Maybe, if they employed more counter help they’d develop a hostile work environment where everyone is running into one another and swearing a lot? The food at this location is best in the afternoon when prepared by Jesus,(not the savior) the cook. I have stopped to compliment his work and the manager gives a very brief acknowledgement and it seems to end right about there. Which is too bad because I figure it’s another opportunity missed… Overall, the food is tasty. The prices are straight forward and easy to understand. Most of the time the food is HOT and fresh. Seldom am I offered a sample as the guest survey asks. I’m not a fan of shrimp(especially after the BP fiasco –but that’s another review). They keep placing shrimp front and center. YUCK! Try something else from time to time why don’t cha? I will return again over and over and over… so maybe eventually the staff will just know my order? Greg

I know I know. I had to use the men’s room before driving back to LA it was lunch time and i felt guilty if I just used the men’s room. I should have purchased a power bar at the gas station instead :( I feel 100% certain you can find a better place to eat; although, the men’s room and restaurant were clean :)

We got the panda bowls with orange chicken/chow mein and firecracker chicken/rice. The orange chicken was good and the firecracker chicken was pretty spicy.
