Nice clean pub w friendly staff. Excellent burger w big steak fries but my wife went for the recommended local favorite Chicken Teriyaki pocket. Not that tasty and just didn’t ‘get it’. Guy next to me got the streak tips which looked great. I will go back.

Very cool little pub. VERY extensive menu and amazing sandwiches. Good selection of beers on tap and bottled. Place is very small and actually gets smaller the farther you go in. tapering to a point at the back. Funky place.

We’ve been going to Brodies Peabody for many years & it continues to consistently offer some of the best food on the North Shore! Don’t let the pub store front, casual interior & laid back atmosphere fool you. No matter what you order, whether one of the many regular menu items or somethings from their extensive list of daily specials, you’ll not be disappointed! Drinks are excellent, and food portions very generous, cooked as ordered & perfectly seasoned. Service is quick, efficient and always with a friendly smile. Head to Brodies for a great meal & a sense of community. You won’t be disappointed!

We went there for drinks to end the evening. My wife ordered a toasted almond and the bartender heard me say that I wanted something like it but not he same and she suggested a variation using Pilar rum, which made for an awesome drink. Our drinks were huge and the pub had a great fee. Even though I was wearing a Ravens shirt I was welcomed!

Absolutely the best little Irish bar around. They have a specials menu that changes every day and the food is incredible every time. Perfectly seared salmon, flawless steak tips and options to boot. Nice friendly neighborhood place.

I went here with my girlfriend last Saturday and was a little disappointed in my visit. The menu is extremely small with not much variety, but figured we would give it a shot anyhow. The bartender was very kind and made us feel welcome. The problem was the other 20 – 25 people who were blocking the entrance/bar/bathroom the entire night, it seemed as if they were upset we were dining in at their place. We placed our order and began to wait with no bread, chips, or anything of the sort. We noticed there weren’t many employees and there was only one cook in the kitchen and the bartender. The cook had to make up for lack of staff by running around like crazy. He was cleaning dishes, cooking, taking out the trash, and many other things. It appeared as if he was very hyped up on energy drinks or something as he was moving at an erratic speed. This become very loud and disruptive at times. Our food came and it was okay nothing special. I got the steak tips and they were dry like a piece of mulch. There were many«regulars» who stood over our backs as we ate the entire time not realizing it because of their high intoxication. The bartender was kind, but this was a first/last time trip for us!

Update: I’m increasing my rating, but I don’t think taking down this review is accurate. My bump to three is because the contact person from Brodie’s website(the proprietor/manager, I think) was VERY responsive to our negative experience. He was willing to respond via email while on vacation and made sure to follow up after having a meeting with his staff. I think management definitely cares about customer experiences, while also wants to protect staff. This can be a difficult balance and I appreciate his swift response to the issue. This place has some great reviews, which is why my sister wanted to take the wedding party there after the wedding ended. But, I would not necessarily recommend anyone from out of town going there. We had service men from all over the world in to celebrate and family from throughout the U.S., so first, I think our excitement level was too high for the server’s attitude. We got there about 10 and stayed until she cut the whole party off at around 12. The reason was at least one person was slurring, and while that was probably true, there really wasn’t a need to cut us all(~20 people) off. She would even ask people ordering if they were part of the wedding and if so she wouldn’t serve them. I know this because some of us were mingling with local customers(and they were the ones being asked). Several people thought it was cute and fun we were there in our wedding attire and no one from our party was yelling, breaking glasses, knocking things over or falling. My sister was at the jukebox with the bridesmaids, a couple cousins were talking to locals, but most were sitting in the back at tables. A better way to handle this would have been for the bartender to talk to the bride or groom before she made the decision and suggest we move on because she was going to cut some people off.

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. If any place is worthy of a top rating it is Brodie’s! They stand above the local establishments by a mile. The food, the owner, the chef(s), the waitstaff, the service are all truly top notch, oh and the specials. If you drive by you might think all you’re missing is typical pub fare but you’d be mistaken, the blackboard specials cannot be missed. They change weekly and they are masterful — in all their presentation and deliciousness glory! The regular menu can’t be missed either. A true gem, sometimes really busy, sometimes you’ll get lucky and easily get a seat. Visit Brodie’s with the highest of recommendations, you will not be disappointed!

Another dinner at brodies. Another amazing meal. Billy is a master chef. Such a small kitchen and what they put out is mind boggling. Phantom gourmet and man finds food needs to come here!!!

This is a really great place. Comfortable, small place with pleasant and efficient service. A huge array of choices from a tiny kitchen. Large portions and good prices. Excellent Greek salad. All the grilled meat items were very good.

Met up with some relatives for dinner here and we got there pretty early to avoid overcrowding. I got a choice of three meats, Turkey tips, Steak tips and Sausage. All cooked very well(I should have gotten the steak tips medium, instead of medium rare but still very good). The sausage was outstanding and the turkey tips were very good. The portions are pretty generous. Not one of us finished our meals. I would recommend for a weeknight dindin!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is very fairly priced and it is amazing! Best steak tips I’ve ever had. It’s a very fun environment to be in. They make you feel at home here. And the owner who is always walking around is very friendly and if you need something he goes out of his way to help you. So if your in the area or want to have amazing food come to Brodie’s!

Terrible service and unsanitary conditions. I watched the cook blow his nose in his armpit and then reach into the oven to grab my meal. More over, our bartender singled out a young woman who had been over served(by her) for a questionable decision, which was disheartening and literally heart breaking to watch. I expected more and got less. This is the last time I support this business and I encourage you to think twice about spending hour hard earned money here.

I love Brodie’s — the place just rocks. It’s a wicked local spot, the kind where the regulars stare at you when you walk in. I’m fine with that, I can drink with the best of em so there is no shame in my wateringhole game. Drinks are always strong and they have a really good selection for a small bar. Food never disappoints, ever, from salad to fries to steak. Always fresh, always cooked to order — and the kitchen is right in front of you if you sit at the bar so you can even watch. Service is great. Kitchen is open till 11(at least it is on Sunday) which is another point in their favor, given that so many local options shut it down early, ESPECIALLY on Sunday. Bar is open till 1. Jukebox that I can control from my phone: boo yah. Points for anything I can do without leaving my barstool. Seriously, I love it so much I wanted the sweatshirt. Boyfriend said no(I’m probably gunna get it anyway, let’s be honest).

My GF and I weren’t sure where to go last night… I said meatloaf, she said«Meh»…so we came to Brodies and had a really decent meal. We ordered almost exclusively off of the specials menu. To start off we got some handmade crab cakes which were flavorful and packed with protein… My monk fish smothered in lobster bisque was delightful and well cooked. My GFs Greek salad with steak tips was excellent and piled high with perfectly cooked meat. It is a small place, so we waited for a few minutes, but our server made us comfortable and well supplied with drinks.

This place is in my hometown. I go years in between visits. Always top notch. Watching the dude cook on the grill… knows what he is doing. Burger I ordered was juicy, high quality and exactly as I ordered. Full bar. Variety of beers. Nice atmosphere. Can’t beat this place for pub food!

5 stars because the food exceeds all expectations for a pub while still maintaining a down-home, local, «everybody knows your name,» unpretentious, and incredibly friendly environment. The pub food items are great versions of what you would expect. The magic is in the specials. The specials are what you would expect from a very good upscale restaurant and excellent versions – from ingredients to prep. Shrimp bruschetta, Asian salmon, killer bologense, duck breast are a few of the outstanding dishes I have been pleasantly shocked by. Friendly and attentive service.
