This is one of those department stores where most of the prices were knocked down(think Kohls, Ross. etc). Seemed a little understaffed but it’s probably enough for this area. The store is pretty spacious and had a variety of of items inside. I didn’t have much time today, but will return to check out the rest. From what I did see, they had a good selection of both men and women clothing that seems to be of pretty good quality. I also saw cologne and perfume while walking past the women’s section. Someone did come up and ask me if I found everything I was looking for. Although there was only 1 person at the cashier and 1 at the customer service desk, I didn’t have to wait longer than 5 minutes in line. The staff seems pretty friendly as well. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an off-priced department store. You won’t have to pay an arm and a leg for a few articles of clothing here.

Perfect place for those just starting out on their own trying to fill up their first place on their own! The home décor section is crazy awesome. It has so many unique décor items to add personality to your space. The stuff is not«high quality» but you can’t tell. The have an endless selection of picture frames, kitchen accessories, lamps, wall art, garden accents, and little home accents. They also have lots of clothing, jewelry, shoes, ect. I probably wouldn’t shop here for those items. Not really my style but they have a big selection. Perfumes are a great deal here! As the previous reviewer mentioned, Yankee Candles are a great price here. Looks like discontinued scents or something. If you are on a budget and have no idea what to gift someone, this place will inspire. You can come here with no idea what to get someone for Xmas or Birthday and leave with an awesome, unique gift. Huge store, amazing deals.

Sometimes you visit a business and it’s life-altering. Like, you know you’ll never be able to live your life without visiting said business at least once a month. That’s the massive amount of love that I had for Gordman’s. The best I can compare it to is Marshalls, but it’s about 900x better. When you walk in, you’re greeted by a store with lots of bright colors and every different department you could imagine. My first problem was where to start? They have an extremely broad home section and since my apartment currently looks like a prison cell, I decided to check it out. The prices were what you could expect in the home section of a Walmart but a lot nicer. I got some cute little decorations to add some personality to my place for $ 4 – 6 dollars each. They also had Yankee candles for about $ 10 each which is a great price. Keep your eyes peeled for the bright yellow CLEARANCE signs. You’ll find lots of bargains. What I ended up with from the home section: –Keurig k-cup storage — stores 30 k-cups. Clearance price $ 15. –LOVEYOUMORE wood sign. $ 5 –I’M GLADYOU’REMYSISTER wood sign. $ 4.(for my sister) –Candle holder for the kitchen. $ 6. Then it was on to the pet area. Lots of treats/bones, treat storage, clothes. I’m picky on the treats I buy for my dogs, so I skipped that even though they did have some brands I recognized. I ended up with a red skull t-shirt for my dog for $ 4. If you’re interested in the dog clothes, buy a big size. My yorkie Owen usually wears a Small or Medium and I bought him the medium and it doesn’t fit. Oh well, I’ll just give it away. Do they have a Goodwill for dogs? Lastly, it was on to my favorite section. Clothes/purses/accessories. Way too many items to ogle over. I could have spent hundreds in here, but I settled on only one item. A cute beaded pink necklace for $ 5 on clearance. I wasn’t in the mood to try anything on or else I probably would have bought a few clothing items. Their fragrance section is probably the most surprising section to me. Marshall’s usually only has old crap that you’ve never heard of or the scent you wore 10 years ago. Gordman’s had brand new colognes/perfumes but they were only a few dollars cheaper than retail. They had Vera Wang, Coach, Ed Hardy etc. These were all in the $ 50 – 60 range. However, if you were looking for an older scent, they were dirt cheap – even cheaper than I’ve found at Target. I’m a huge Britney fan and all of her perfumes were $ 15, except for Fantasy which is my favorite and that one was around $ 30. I told my friends that I will be bringing a couple hundred to Gordman’s for Christmas to do all of my Christmas shopping. It’s hard to find a one-stop shop to find something for everyone on your list, but Gordman’s is about as close as you’ll get.
