In-N-Out Burger

Finally now that I’m here on the west coast I can stop in one of these joints. My rating is based solely on the food.

At first glance: DAMMMMnnn !!! that drive through line ends in the Target parking lot. Well that confirms it, I now have to stay and check it out for sure. It was a pretty lengthy wait, will I do that wait it again? Nah.
Presentation: The burger wrapping with logo was cute.
Ordered: I was tempted to order the burger wrapped in lettuce, but then realized waiting in that line… I better go all out. lol
Taste:
Burger: — Damn it’s tasty. All american burger, layered with lettuce, pickle and tomato, all of the toppings tasted very fresh.
What I was expecting it to be a big fat patty dripping with greas and it was far from it.
In-​N-​Out Animal Style Fries — Cheese, In-N-Out’s secret spread, and grilled onions right on top, a little heavy, the fries did not have any salt. I only enjoyed the actual topping of the fries.

I normally wouldn’t leave a review for such a highly regarded establishment, but my experience today merits it. I’ve been stopping here for the last two years on the way to Monterey and LA. They’ve skipped my order once in the past.
Today my order was skipped or misappropriated. After about five minutes I asked the young man calling out numbers at the counter, Jacob, about my order and whether it had been skipped. He checked my receipt and agreed it had been. Twenty minutes go by, and still no hamburger. I check with the same frazzled guy again, and he’s entirely forgotten about me, my receipt (asking to check it again), and about my lost order. By now thirty orders have gone by. I finally got my burger and fries after 32 minutes of waiting.
I know — it’s just a fluke experience. But this took so long, and given that I had to ask twice for my forgotten order, that I think I’ll stick it out to kettleman city next time.

If you want chicken or tacos, this ain’t your place. If you want a burger & fries, what is not to love about In-​N-​Out Burger! Easily the best fast food chain restaurant. The youthful staff is in constant motion, very helpful and eager to make everything right. When the drive through lines get long, they send someone out to take your order (it really does speed things along). The menu is very simple — burgers, fries, shakes and soda. That allows them to excel and streamline the process; they are not trying to be all things to every person. The burgers are delish, you can tell that the lettuce and tomatoes are fresh, you can raw or grilled onions. The fries are made from potatoes that you can see be cut before they go into the hot oil, then they are salted. I could do without the bible verses on my packaging, but whatever.

Best Burgers In Town, I Always Go There Every Friday After Work. Sometimes I Take My Family And They LOVE The Burgers. I Give It A 5 Star

I have loved In-​N-​Out since my first bite into a Double Double 12 years ago.
We went to this location today as a pre-Father’s day treat. We got our typical order of Double Doubles with Grilled Onions and Fries Well Done.
Right before I take my first bite, my son spills 4 oz of milk that we brought on the ground. I asked the counter if I could get some help. A minute later, an employee plops down a warning cone, mops up the mess, and consoles by child by telling him «no need to cry over spilt milk». That makes my son feel happier.
A few minutes later, the same person comes by to drop off a milk jug from the store free of charge. We were like, thanks for making our day!
My son spills a little water in the middle of the meal. It’s an easy one for me to clean up. The spill managed to get a little water on the diner to our right, but he doesn’t seem to mind.
Right before we left, the employee goes around and hands all the kids a little activity book with stickers. Really above and beyond our wildest customer service expectations. Thanks In-​N-​Out for having great food and hiring great people!

What a great place to eat! I live nearby and it’s one of my favorite places. Especially the protein burger.

Nothing great about it. Long wait teenagers behind the counter flirting with customers while I waited to get my food. They need to raise the prices or something they can’t handle the volume.

Great location of a great food chain. We arrived late to San Francisco airport and were just stopping for a quick bite on the way up to Napa. Low and behold there was an in-​n-​out right off the highway 80 on our way up to Napa, so we stopped in at about 1130 pm. Parking lot is a bit confusing with the drive thru is set up, but we parked no problem. There was actually a bit of a line, and the food took a little while to come out, surprising for this late at night. I went for a double double animal style, regular fries, and a black/​white shake, while my wife had a single cheeseburger and snuck a few of my fries. Every time I make it out to Vegas or Cali I make a point of going to in-​n-​out at least once, and it is always so consistently good and dirt cheap. This was perfect for us to grab quick eats, and just as good as it has been in many other locations. It’s located in fast food land, with about 100 other fast food and quick restaurants in the same food area. The burger was great as always, and the shake and fries were fabulous too. Great place to stop between Napa and San Fran, highly recommend.

This is my first time writing a review for in n out because i left unhappy… Usually i have no complaints but this time i had to write a review. I went inside to eat and (Amanda P.) was the one who took my order… I ordered fries and a milk shake. Gave me my food and left quickly. I asked Amanda for spread and her face was just rude. I came back to get a cup of water and there was 1 person infront of me ordering with an Asian man who works there. Amanda saw me in line, we made eye contact so I went a step closer and she left to do nothing (I saw) then we made eye contact again and she didn’t say a word to me. She could’ve ask me if I need help because the Asian man who worked at the register went to the back to get change so I was just waiting and waiting. She was rude for no reason. She need to work on her customer service. If you don’t like Customers than do not work in a fast food. She was just a b**.
In the other hand, I like the food. No complaints on that. Just watch out for this rude person name Amanda P. The other workers was nice though. Opened the door for me and asked if I needed anything else when I was in my seat.

I ran through this location and it is by far one of the best ones yet.

I would be happy if they would have more toilet paper in the bathroom it’s annoying to wash your hands and stay with them wet.

You already know wsup. How can anyone say no the the greatest burgers in the world?
My go-​to: Double-​double animal style with chopped chilies. Or if I’m trying to be healthy and frugal, a cheeseburger animal style with extra veggies and chopped chilies.

This is as good as in n out gets. Great customer service and as always reliable meals.

As an out-​of-​towner, I really don’t understand the fascination with this place. I finally stopped into an in-​and-​out burger after hearing about it so many times. I chose this location over a Five Guys, assuming that it would be at least as good based on ratings and what I’ve heard, but I was really disappointed.
The burger patties are super thin and hard, not juicy at all– it’s like eating something that was rapidly defrosted and cooked. To me, the most imperative part of a burger is the actual burger!
The buns are cheap white bread and mine was burned where it had been toasted, so that the top of my burger bun was very hard. The sauce and toppings on the burger were good, but they don’t make up for the rest, esp not for the lack of meat.
I was also really underwhelmed by the fries. To me they had a spongy texture and very little flavor.
I know this is a fast food restaurant, and it WAS fast– we were literally in and out in a few minutes. The staff were efficient and friendly and the location was clean. For those reasons I am giving the two stars. However I would definitely go to five guys next time I want a fast but real burger and delicious fries. For anyone not local who isn’t sure whether to give this fast food chain a try, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Service has always been great. I’ve never had a bad experience. The only bad thing that’s ever happened was going with friends and their order was forgotten about; which has only happened twice. A lot of the time they’ll have a very long line, but they kill it very instantly. I remember one time I’ve gone and Theresa was so friendly!!! She was super nice :-) All the employees are great. They will always be cleaning tables and floors, making sure you’re eating at a clean spot of course.
My go-​to is always a protein style hamburger and fries. I love coming here with my friends; good company & good fast food yay!

Just like any other in-​n-​out, always crowded and with huge lines. The employees always forget to give ketchup unless you remind them.

This In-​and-​Out is closest to my work, and I come here with current and retired coworkers about once a month. Its one of my favorite chain restaurants! The menu is simple but execution of their burgers is hard to beat. Also, there’s no better sign of freshness than not having any freezers on site. Fries don’t come from bags, but from whole spuds that they shred with this giant fry cutter. My usual favorite is the double double combo, but on days for a lighter lunch I opt for the Cheeseburger combo.
The parking at the Pinole location isn’t the best, but we almost always find a space. I’m giving this location 5 stars for the following reasons:
1. Friendly employees who smile and greet you. They seem genuinely happy to serve you. They run the floor and help you bus tables. Today, my colleague spilled his drink and one worker (Raymond I think) rushed out and helped clean up.
2. Rapid turnover of tables — for some odd reason we come in groups of 4 – 6 and never have to wait too long for a table. Literally people eat in and move out!

Oh In-​N-​Out, why will you not spread out across the country?
This was our first stop once we got out of SFO and our eyes were so much bigger than our stomachs. We ordered two double-​doubles, a thing of regular fries and another of animal fries. For fast food and a late night meal, the burgers really hit the spot! The fries were alright. I preferred the regular fries to the animal style version.
I know the food and hence the menu is pretty simple and straight forward but this is place you don’t want to skip past, especially if you’re visiting California. Also make sure to check out the secret menu that can be found online.

Well, I know this place has a following do I had to try it while I was in California.
I wasn’t impressed. With all of the hype I thought it would be fantastic but it was just your run of the mill fast food.
So my friend ordered me fries and an animal style burger which had cheese tomato lettuce pickle and secret sauce. Honestly it was like what I remember a Big Mac tastes like…
