This time around burger was sloppy, greasy, and fell apart. Almost felt like a steak and shake patty. A bit pricy for a nasty burger. My fiancée and I spent 28 for 2 burgers. Next time will just eat at a resturant!

I know it’s a chain but they do make a heck of a burger. I hadn’t been here for several years and was reminded of how good their burgers are! It didn’t hurt that I had just come from the doctors office after fasting for 12 hours and was starving. I can’t remember the name of the burger I had but it had jalapeños, bacon, cheese and god knows what else on it but it was devine! The spicy fries were really good too!

My boys love smashburger — and I can get something other than a burger. Great fries!

Friendly fellas, clean store(even at mid afternoon when many places decide it’s break time and don’t bus tables), accurate order taking(side of this, extra crunchy that), quick delivery of food to table with a smile, hot and delicious burger and sweet potato fries, and just look at how well the cooks prepare that burger! A thing of beauty when you’re in the mood for a cheeseburger.

I decided to give Smashburger another try. Mistake. Burger was completely flavorless. Never again.

I have the hots for those fries. They are a change of pace from the plain olé fries you get from most other places. Any burger place that doesn’t serve that nasty bread that sticks to the roof of you mouth is a plus for me. I’ll take the egg bun(brioche) any day. They have a nice selection of toppings to choose from. The service I receive from my two visits here has been great. It’s a little pricey for me to come here more often.

YES! My first visit to Smashburger. The current special is the Colorado Burger. It’s great! Best fast food burger I’ve had in a while. The buffalo seasoned fries were great, but I’m not a fan of skinny fries. Give me some fat fries and this place will be a winner. Definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back.

Smashburger is one of my favorite places for a quick, consistent and tasty burger. There are plenty of places to choose from but this place has a few advantages to me that sets the standard a little higher. First is the salted caramel milkshake which some of you may have already read about from my tip. I am probably the only human on the planet who could take-or-leave ice cream(strange I know) but I’ll never turn down one of these shakes! Ever! The other bonus is the smash fries. These are tossed in rosemary and garlic right out of the fryer and they sing to me! Portions are filling and the service is generally very friendly. They make it a point to greet you and say thank you as you leave. I think the milkshakes seem bigger if you order them there. The takeout portion seems much smaller(but same price). One other small critique is the price. They aren’t the least expensive burger so we don’t get them as often as we might. 2 burgers with fries and 2 shakes is easily upwards of $ 25. That’s a lot for fast food in my opinion. It doesn’t keep us away but it does hinder our frequency of visits. Guess I’ll just look at it as a good thing for my waistline! ;)

The Food here is amazing. However the employees always act like they don’t want to be here. The restaurant is always dirty, but the price you pay for good burger and fries

Go to mooyah or in-n-out, much better and not stupid expensive like SB.

Get the onion rings ! In the past, we always went to Chuck’s just for their thin onion rings. Well, Chuck’s is gone and I never could find those great thin onion rings until my visit to Smashburger. We much prefer table service. So I don’t often go to restaurants where you order at the counter. However, we were a bit pressed for time so we gave this fine establishment a try. The staff was friendly, and the manager came by to check on us. I would prefer a more fun atmosphere. But the burgers and fries and onion rings are as good as it gets,(perhaps only Johnny Rockets is better.) No televisions is another big plus. Easy parking too.

A very good burger for this area. We have visited this location several times. But the Smashburger franchises that we have been to in California are better. In particular, better beef. We moved to the Dallas area a few months ago and were so happy that Smashburger was in the area. For some reason I thought TEXAS would have better beef. But no. The beef in the burger is better on the west coast. Not sure if it is because of better fed cows there or better butchers who don’t include icky stuff in the grind, but the difference in the ground beef is very noticeable. I hate eating a burger and discovering some chewy squishy thing in the meat that I need to spit out. Since I eat gluten free, and often have my burger without the offered gluten-free bun,(Gluten free buns are one of the main reasons we continue to choose Smashburger over other burger joints) the quality and the cook of the beef is of paramount importance since the beef is the absolute main part of the dish. Also, this last trip in, the staff was off in la-la land. The cashier had his back to us while doing something at the far counter. He noticed us as we came in but turned his back again and resumed what he was doing(we were there early and the only customers in the shop at the time). He then seemed to forget we were there at all. He forgot us for a long, long time until we made a commotion that he could no longer ignore. «Hello, hello, can we place an order???» «Yoohoo?» «EXCUSEME! Can we place an order???» That same visit, while ordering we tendered a coupon for a free shake. When I got to our table I found that we had been charged for the shake. Back up to the counter to settle the bill correctly. Then it took two additional trips back up to the order station for the guy to remember to actually make the shake. When our burgers were delivered cheese had been left off my husband’s burger and the extra mayo that I ordered for my burger was on his(he never has mayo on his burgers). Service wise, this last visit was not typical, in our experience, at Smashburgers in general, so maybe the staff at this location was collectively having a very bad morning that day or maybe the manager was goofing off and not minding the store. All in all, I still recommend Smashburger. This particular store is not as totally awesome as others we have been to, but better than most local burger places in our new area.

Loved this place! This is my new go to fast burger joint. The french fries were amazing and the burgers were great! I ordered a Chicken Sandwich which had fresh avocados, jalapenos, and spicy chipotle sauce. Needless, to say it was perfect. The right amount of sauce, condiments, and veggies. The chicken was fried to perfection, and the Chiptole bun was great. The rosemary fries were delicious and I loved the shoe string style. The other burger I ordered was a traditional burger with delicious mushrooms and a dash of truffle oil. Everything was cooked great though the meat was slightly over cooked; not enough for me to care though. I also had Buffalo fries and they were incredible!!! I can’t wait to eat here again and try more food.

This might be my new go-to quick burger place in the area. Overall, they had a perfect balance of bun, protein and ingredients. I didn’t find myself picking off the bun — it complemented the burger well. The ingredients were fresh. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean. I tried the Chicken Spicy Jalapeño Baja burger with crispy chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked! It was juicy(not overcooked) and not too much batter. It wasn’t overly spicy — just the perfect amount. I also tried the Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger. I was a little hesitant to order it because truffle can be overpowering and I think some restaurants/chefs use truffle as a crutch. But I figured, it’s a quick/cheap burger joint… what’s the harm?! They used just a tiny amount so it had a hint of truffle — it was perfect amount! The burger was just a tad dry, but not that bad. I also tried the Smashfries and Spicy Buffalo Fries. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Spicy Buffalo Fries had a good amount of the hot sauce flavor(not too overpowering). The Smashfries had the perfect amount of herbs.

I had lunch here earlier with my friend who had never been before. She loved it, and she’s a little picky(not as picky as me though). I come here quite often, and though today it wasn’t that great, they are usually quite consistent. All their different fry options are good, yes I’ve been enough time to have tried all of them… including the new buffalo ones. Those might be my favorite. I usually go for BBQ Bacon & Cheddar or a Classic Smash, but I doubt anything here is bad. I just suggest double checking your to-go order if you call it in, as I usually do, because I’ve gotten the wrong burger on two separate occasions. If it wasn’t for my wrong sized burger today and the excessive amount of oil on my smash fries today, I’d give 5 stars.

Burgers here are great. The fries look like they were made for really tiny people, but are good and they give you a lot of them. Seating sucks and I always feel cramped. Staff is super nice every time I’ve been. Everything seems to be clean, but I haven’t ventured into the lav yet, and that always gives it away. My mother-in– law loved it and she’s — well a mother-in-law

Tried the spicy black bean burger. As usual, the pictures online look more delicious than in real life. The texture was a bit soft. The fries were tiny. Didn’t mind it. I didn’t like that the tables were not very clean. Customer service was mediocre. I would try this place again.

Another visit on a busy Sat for lunch. Lots of customers and still prompt service. May have discovered secret menu. Ask for the Sweet Potato Smash Fries which aren’t listed on menu. By far our favorite burger joint in Collin County after several local and national chain burger places. Groups larger than 4 are going to be at several tables. Most seating is for two/four. Waiter service is your given a number to take to your table and then your order is delivered. You get own drinks and refills.

Came here with my cousin during and this was one of those places where you walk out of thinking«what’s all the fuss about?» Overrated in my opinion. The burgers were super greasy– it was just dripping in grease when I was holding it. Felt so heavy and slow after eating here. It was so ridiculously busy and out of control– took a long time to get our food and they messed up my cousins order. Didn’t look like they could handle the crazy lunch rush– everything was chaos. Average food and unimpressive service. I’d prefer Five Guys or Mooyah any day.
