This has got to be the WORSE Chinese restaurant in the world. Food was cold at opening don’t go near the soup OMG I can’t even explain the taste the health department should check if they are using dish water for the soup I’d give this place a –10 if Unilocal would allow it. Seriously do not waste your money

Don’t eat here. It will be coming out both ends before you can even get out of the door.

I have been to this place multiple times and every time the night has ended with me sitting on the toilet in grotesque pain. As someone who loves GOOD food, I find myself questioning why people settle for mediocre food like the food here. For the same price, you can get good Asian food all over Port Orchard. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I came here quite a few time because my bf likes Chinese Buffet. Only complain for me is I got really sick one time. I am not sure if it was the food or not. Lots of different choice of Chinese Food.

Food made me violently sick tonight. I let them know and their response was a very uncaring… «You ate so much crab«. I walked away and ended up puking while on their toilet. I let them know they can see exactly how much i ate because it’s on their bathroom floor. To top it off… I can’t believe they charged me for my meal.

It’s hard, yet very easy at the same time to screw up a buffet, and this place is sufficient if you’re in a buffet mood. Listen, if you’re in the mood for Chinese/Asian buffet, all you want is some decent General Tso’s chicken or sushi without feeling like you need a tetanus shot afterwards. This place does the job. Nothing special or fantastic, but don’t take that in bad way; it’s good enough for lunch or to kick it with some friends.

I’m not a buffet person so I’m a little biased. I came here with my boyfriend because he recommended it. He loves Asian food and I’ve had pretty good experiences with Chinese buffets compared to something like hometown buffet. But it was typical buffet food, just Chinese version. Panda express has better quality food. Everything kind of tastes the same and most of it is fried and greasy. The server was really stingy about refilling drinks, which is something every buffet also has in common. Expensive price for mediocre food. I don’t need to eat at a troth like a pig, so I really don’t like buffets. I’m only going to get one plate of food so I wish it was worth eating. Overpriced, overcooked, not worth it. My boyfriend enjoyed it, but he also really enjoys any kind of Asian food, good or bad.

If I could chose negative 5 stars I would. I went on a saturday at 11 am. Dont get me wrong at $ 8 all you eat I was already expecting the food to be sub parr. But when every bite of food has you washing it down with their store purchased bread roll and lemonade theres a problem. I tried bits of coconut chicken, honey chicken, teriyaki chicken, chicken on a stick, and mongolion beef. Every bite was either stale, cold, or soggy. 50 percent of the food was cold. Basically I was eating yesterdays cold stale left overs. I decided to try to make up for it with some desert. Figured it was harder to screw up. One bite of sour, obviously spoiled, pudding later and I was done. Done ever coming back. Cannot pay me to eat here again. Nasty.

The first impression upon entering is that the staff finds you eating here inconvenient. A sign posted on the wall as you enter states, «Don’t waste our food and we won’t have to raise our prices.» Now, to me as a first time customer it was a bit of a turn off. But, as a foodie I was willing to try it out. Most of what is served is fine. Mediocre temperature and typical taste. A few things they did serve stood out as far as «Worth coming back» like the Crab Bake and the Coconut Cream Chicken. It takes a bit of getting use to the service because they are very traditional Chinese mannerisms and they won’t wait or hover over you like most America restaurants do. They wait for you to sit bring water then go and wait to pick up your plate.

The food was NOT up to par. The waitress was so bored she was at our table 11 times to clean up. Finally, I found a fortune cookie. wrapper in the bottom of my beer and when I brought it to the attention of the hostess she said she would talk to the manager. He didn’t even bother to get his lazy butt out of his chair and come talk to us. They only took the beer off the tab. I told them I would tell everyone not to eat there. DISGUSTING! Both the food and the service.

I was in China Sun, about 3 months ago… As much as I loved this restaurant — I found a metal bristle in my chicken… When I told the waitress about the bristle, and showed her — she just said«oh sometimes that happens» and took the bristle out of my hand… I learned that you gotta be careful when you eat out.. .

I don’t see how people can say this place isn’t the best Chinese buffet in Kitsap County or even the state. Everything I ate was amazing. They don’t use cheap food either. Well worth the visit if in the area.

Have been eating here quite a bit lately as I let my dear sweet mother choose the restaurant when I take her to dinner, and this is her #1 pick. Ok with me. Three rules though that you have to follow here: 1) Timing. Noon-1 or 4:30−6. Probably a «duh» for buffet veterans, but if you want the good stuff, get here at the right time. 2) The good stuff is what just came out. Not everything here is good, but everything I’ve had is at least decent — when it’s fresh out of the kitchen. I especially like the seafood and right 5PM they’re usually bringing out a good rotation of fried oysters, broiled mussels, coconut shrimp, calamri, and crab with butter. Yum. 3) Leave an actual tip. Don’t be one of the cheap mother ____ers I’ve watched leave 2 bucks or a pile of dimes(!) on the table after their brood has left a wake of devastation, dirty plates and strewn napkins all over the joint.

Sometimes this place is good when we go in and sometimes it’s too close to closing and they don’t stock the buffet very well. Last time we visited at 8 and they close at 10 and I thought that was early enough but it really wasn’t. They did tell us that they could make us whatever we want but when you walk through a buffet you don’t want to ask to order every little thing. We won’t go in again unless it’s mid day we felt it was a waste of money to have a buffet that wasn’t really even half full.

Been here a couple of times but tonight will be the last! The food is just ok, not horrible but the service sure is! It started with me asking for straws, my waitress heard my request and still walked off to help somebody else and tried to hand me my straws with her arm completely outreached across the tables and not even looking at me. I had to almost get out my seat to grab the straws. Than she decided she would clear everybody else’s tables and fill everybody else’s drinks but my table. After she brought the check, no thank you no anything, as I waited there with my card in the tray, she walks past and says with an attitude, «pay up front». Like my husband and I aren’t even welcomed. Like our money isn’t as good as everybody else’s. I will never be returning for some mediocre food and terrible service.

We’ve been to this place a few times now and I feel like I’ve steadily watched it go downhill from when it opened. I’ve seen the menu quality go down and the service has always been subpar. Tonight was really just it for us. We came in for a late dinner, which is always a chance with a buffet, but the place advertises that it’s open until 10:00pm. We figured arriving at 8:00pm would give us some time where food was still being rotated. Instead we found that what was there was sparse, and it had been out for too long already. The kitchen looked like it was closed down and the employees were trying to mop the floor while we trying to get food. I understand the difficulties in trying to run a buffet and managing how much food should be made close to the end of shift. However this was two hours before closing. I’m fine with the restaurant advertising that they are only open until 9:00pm, then we wouldn’t have tried to go there. It’s just been too long with too little from this restaurant.

Would not recommend! When we got there the restaurant was half full. There were two of us and they sat us at a 6-top. My boyfriend asked them if they could seat us in a booth or a smaller table and was told«no we have no smaller tables» when there were clearly tables open. Then the server kept coming to our table and taking chairs away while we were sitting there without so much as an «excuse me». They had lots of selection but the food was mediocre at best. It was dinner time and a lot of the food seemed as if it wasn’t fresh. But what REALLY got me was the sushi counter. The sushi looked fabulous, but I am deathly allergic to salmon so I needed some assistance to be sure that I took nothing with salmon in it. The guy at the sushi counter apparently didn’t speak a word of English because when I asked him questions he just stood there staring at me. Didn’t say a word. I asked him several times and it was the same response. Needless to say – I didn’t have any sushi which was very disappointing. If you’re going to have someone manning a station you should make sure they are able to assist your customers! Not impressed

We live in Bremerton, and have a couple buffets in the area(Bremerton & Silverdale) but neither was impressive or worth the price in the past, so we decided to hit up Unilocal for the next closest one with decent reviews and this was it. To start, this place is VERY clean. Floors, tables, buffet lines, serving utensils… Clean! Love it. THEFOOD is good. It tastes good, and is what I was expecting from how it was labeled(this is not always the cases at some places)… the selection itself is not phenomenal, and it’s not out of the ordinary, but just the fact that it seems fresh and is served in such a neat and clean environment is refreshing. Nothing appears greasy or icky. My favorite dish here would probably have to be the hot & sour soup or the grilled veggie mix. The stuffed mushrooms are also tasty, and the crab wontons too! THESERVCE was also good. The young man who served our drinks and picked up our dishes was polite, if quiet. He refilled my water when it got low, and was kind enough NOT to offer a refill after I explained that my kids only get one soda with dinner(the drinks are huge so they didn’t finish it anyway). THEPRICES seem a bit high. $ 39 Dinner for 1 Adult + 2 Kids before gratuity … myself, an 11-year-old(who they priced as an adult) and a 7-year-old. They didn’t eat much, and I felt as though there are many places we could have gone where $ 40+ would have gone further for us. We may be back. This is a better, cleaner option than other buffets in the area.
