This is now Pita Break. I love this place — I could probably eat here every day. This is basically like subway but with pita’s and a more Greek flare. I think they changed the portion sizes because one pita fills me up. I leave there stuffed every time. I usually get the souvlaki with veggies. My only complaint is they play country music. Good food, reasonably priced, friendly staff… Check it out, you won’t be disappointed

I know that Pita Pit serves breakfast, I had lots of things to do last Sunday, but I had been dying to try a breakfast sandwich, so I planned to head to the Puyallup area to run my errands even though it was 30min. out of my way. I was almost 10am on a Sunday morning, and I was not surprised when I pulled up that it was closed, being that it was a Sunday, but I got out of my car to see what time they opened, so that I could maybe run a couple of errands, and then run back there when they were open. I get to the door, and there are no hours posted anywhere., now I may be wrong, but in Wa, I think that it is a law to have hours posted, if anything common since. PITAPITPLEASECLEARLYPOSTYOURHOURS, THANKS. I called today to place an order, and to verify their hours of operation and their phone just rings and rings. This establishment could become a huge hit if they learned how to properly run a business.

We have Pita Pit in Utah, but I never visited them due to location inconvenience, somehow I winded up here at Puyallup being so close to where I stayed. Everything seems to be freshly cooked and the price is just right. Service was decent as well, perhaps it was because we were the only folks dining. Never thought a flour wrapped meat with veggies could be quite tasty. I went with the Philly Steak Pita and it probably tasted better than most philly sandwich I have eaten. I did have them throw in a bunch of jalapeño and banana peppers, maybe that was one of the tasty reasons? Regardless of the quality of meat, the availability of tasty peppers made my gloomy night a bright one, definitely a meal to be remembered.

*At the risk of sounding like a morbidly obese fat man, I give you…* Pita… barely, Pit… exactly! I hate giving bad reviews, but what I hate even more is when a place gives me a reason to give them a bad review. It started out with me letting a family of 9! Yes, I said that correctly, a family of 9. They rolled out of their van that was parked right next to my car, on their van had those little figures on the back window that represented their whole nuclear family. I was polite and held the door open while they entered the store. I walked in behind them and they walked up to the counter and was about to order when the dad said«actually, lets let him go first, we have 9 people and some picky orders» I thought to myself«how nice» oh, but than the pita master spoke«nah, man, you were here first, you guys order» Seriously?! I am only one order, why would the employee say something like that after they wanted me to go first?! The dad looked at me and shrugged his shoulders, I said«don’t worry about it, I can wait» And wait I did, almost 20 minutes! Let me clarify, I am not mad at the family, I am mad at the pita artist. So after the wait I TRIED to order 3 different sandwiches/pitas, neither one they could make because they did not have all their ingredients, they were still open for another 6 hours, how can you not have enough ingredients. I gave the benefit of the doubt and made a comment«must have been a busy day» his reply«nah, we must of just forgot to order some stuff» some stuff? Like tomatoes? Give me a break. So I wanted to get some things as a replacement for stuff like tomatoes, etc. he wanted to charge me for extras? How is it an extra if you don’t have what I originally asked for? Anyways, I readjusted and put in a different order. I painfully watched as he folded each pita breaking and cracking everywhere, one of the pitas he had to make 3 times before I told him to not worry about it I’ll just take it. So I took my to 3 pitas home to the family, which was more like 2 pitas that looked like Freddie Kruger tried to fold and the 3rd one looked like Edward Scissor hands was trying to make the pita! All three tasted bland, I wouldn’t even say it tasted one noted, I would have almost accepted that. I know the tone of this review is that of a paranoid food schizophrenic, I assure you, I was overly polite during this visit, it was just inside that I was filled with fiery rage. I will not come back here, nor can I recommend such a faux attempt at such a great genre of food!

Went to P.P. on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11:00 for a breakfast pita. Ordered an Italian Sausage from a clerk who had a very impatient, unfriendly attitude! Order was to be eaten there and was handed to me wrapped in paper without a plate or fork or inquiry as to whether I wanted anything to drink with it. Pita itself was forgettable and drowned in salsa. Definitely won’t return!

I’ve eaten here a few times and the quality of the gyros are pretty good and the choices of fillings are tasty and numerous. I always order the chicken souvlaki gyro which is basically Greek seasoned chicken. Plus if you live in the area they do delivery as well. Price is reasonable and they are open till 11pm on Saturday just in case you get the late night munchies.

To say these are Gyros is a complete insult. First, the meat they use is that previously frozen slabs they pull from the fridge and put on the flat top. It’s actually is the same meat I got once from a convenient store that had one of those 1980’s «gyros» signs. At least there, I knew what I was getting into. And at the convenient store, it was only a couple bucks. At the Pita Pit, its almost 7 dollars. Second, their tziki sauce is thick and plain. The only flavor is the cucumber. Lastly, it is not horrible, however just not good Gyros. There is a Gyro stand at Southhill mall that has way better.

My friend claimed that this place was her favorite new place to eat and she craved it like crazy. I thought yea, fast food. bleh! She was right. They have really fresh ingredients, decent prices and they are open until 2am on the weekends and midnight on the week days! Yea… and in Puyallup! We are usually stuck with greasy Mcd’s or a 7 – 11 hot dog. Both which have their place in my belly at certain times… but now that this is an option… it might be less times. I went and got some BBQ ranch or something. The chicken was good, the dressing was real good and like subway I got to put tons of stuff on it. whatever I wanted! Unlike Subway though, I didn’t walk out feeling like I had just eaten a king size down pillow of bread. Plus when you eat it there they do this really cool thing where they wrap it in paper and then rip the top half off for you. Hey… I am a sucker for a cool trick! Either way, go here… there are locations not just in Puyallup… but I am amazed and ecstatic they decided to lay some roots down here!
