It was between this or the tavern behind. I love pizza so I just had to try it although reviews suck. I got the breakfast pizza. Honestly, first bite into it, it was great. Loved the crust. Second bite toward middle of pizza, it was too doughy. The egg was not evenly distributed so the middle part of the pizza was soggy. Bacon and cheese did it some justice. As I went through half the pizza… I started tasting bitterness. I flipped over the pizza and it was black. Not charred but burnt. That explains why I had to wait 30 minutes for the pie…

In LGA, Crust is one of the many dining choices. I picked it because, well, I wanted a place to sit away from most travelers but also the price for their food items was a little more in my budget: not cheap, but not super expensive. There’s really not much to say about service, but they’ll help you if you need them even if you«call» them through the iPad. I had the mushroom pizza and it was MUCH better than I expected. Neopolitan-style, the crust is thin on the bottom which I like, but it doesn’t do much for trying to hold the mushrooms. You’ll need a fork for this one. One pizza is more than plenty for one person but I skipped breakfast and this was my first meal of the day, so I ate the whole thing. Granted, I was hungry, so you know how things taste better when you’re hungry? I’d like to think that if I weren’t as hungry, this was still a decent pizza. I’m not a huge fan of the iPads, but it does make ordering easier. Entering my email address, I didn’t get a receipt, so I had to ask service to print me one. It’s a little dark in there, but I didn’t mind it. Plus, there are outlets for charging your phone, so really, there’s not much to lose choosing Crust among the other dining options. I’d do it again if I’m in LGA.

If your name is Crust then that should at least be good. Pizza was greasy and soggy and not evenly cooked. Parts of the crust were burnt and part was under cooked. My iced tea was maybe 6oz and cost 3.25!!! And I asked for a refill and clearly they were not happy about it. The 20% gratuity was automatically added and was not worth it. They know you don’t have many choices here and they are taking advantage of you. Don’t eat here.

If you are in terminal C, there aren’t many choices. When you have lost your mind like I did and arrive 1 hour and 45 minutes before takeoff, you resort to things like eating subpar airport food while you kill the time. I have visited a lot of airports so I wasn’t expecting much in regards to food quality but I did expect good service since I was sitting directly in front of the bartender. The male working was attentive and friendly which was much appreciated since it was 5:30am. But the woman, wow. She had no regard for the customer. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and caramel syrup. When she set it in front of me, it was an iced plain coffee. Um, excuse me, is this mine??! She stated they didn’t have any caramel syrup, which would’ve been fine had she of asked me what I wanted instead but she just completely disregarded my order. And is there milk in this? She said she forgot but had already poured my coffee so I could just drink it down and she’ll add milk!!! What!!! Just pour me a new coffee puuulease and thank you! The food was eh. My dude would have probably enjoyed it since it was a large breakfast pizza. It was way too much food for a normal portion and I’m pretty sure I killed a small tree with all of the napkins I used.

We went for breakfast and hit the frittata. My meal came out about 10 minutes before my husband, so it was cold by the time I ate. Both of our frittatas were just ok. They weren’t made with salt and the cheese was very minimal, so they were pretty bland. The iPads in the middle of all that tables would be nice if you’re traveling alone, but they are distracting when trying to have a conversation.

The pizza here is very good especially for airport pizza. You can order and pay on the iPad in front of you without ever talking to a waiter(really, people are complaining about this???). It’s a quick bite before a flight, not a gourmet meal! Yes prices are high, but you’re in an airport – maybe you haven’t traveled before? Seriously though the experience is made for eating in enough time to still catch your flight – you pay up front for everything so you don’t have to wait for a check. I wish every restaurant worked like this. Considering you’re in an airport, this place is great, and it deserves much higher Unilocal reviews!

I’m not sure why the reviews are all so low. My only complaint would be that the service was a bit uneven. I sat at the bar and it took a bit before my seat was cleaned. Ordered the kale salad that was very good and the mushroom pie. The pizza was really great although the center was just a tiny bit soft the CRUST was stellar!

Convenience is key. Had a flight on gate 18 and the lighting seemed pretty good at this spot. The food even seemed promising! And lucky for them I was famished! Quality is also a key, and this is not it for sure. However you can’t expect something spectacular from an airport«gourmet pizzeria.» Yes, I did eat half of that breakfast pizza. No, I don’t hate myself. No, I’m not proud. No, it was not yummy. Hell yeah, that was a waste of money. That thing was huge tho. Could easily feed two. If you are into eating grease. It was dripping with grease but still lacked bacon. :( The coffee here is gross, of course. Uganda coffee my ass. Just get a Balthazar croissant. Those can’t disappoint you. Avoid the breakfast pizza. It’s a mistake. It’s an embarrassment for a foodie to admit she ate that. Don’t be fooled by the promising look of this spot. Good lighting in the morning tho. Could have been worse. Service was ok. The people working here are obliviously tired of dealing with tired people. Someday I’ll learn with my mistakes(and empty wallet) that I must pack my own snacks for the airport.

For an airport restaurant, this one is pretty good. Nestled close to the gates in the Delta terminal, there is ample seating & tablets at each table for ordering food & drinks, as well as checking your flight status, & using the Internet in general while waiting for your food & then to board your flight. The tablet does make ordering simple, quick, & efficient & it’s perfect for travelers who just want to get what they want & have minimal interaction with people. Everything in airports are always so expensive so it’s no surprise that a small egg frittata with roasted peppers, ricotta, spinach, & a sprinkle of parmesan was $ 11; however, it was quite delicious & it did come with a tiny portion of mixed baby lettuce in a light vinaigrette. The coffee was very good & our server came over immediately with water & the two coffees I ordered for my grandfather & myself. I see other people write reviews complaining about the plastic silverware but that doesn’t bother me really because it’s in the middle of the gates at the airport. At least the plates & glassware are real!

It is nice being able to order and pay off of an ipad. However, the service was slow and they got my sandwich order wrong. They did comp it but I was almost late boarding my flight because of the slow service.

Does Delta on these places? It sure seems so, since I have to watch a Delta Credit Card ad the entire time I am eating. Pizza here is Ok, but you have to order off an IPad and the service is slow. If ordering off an IPad made the service better, then maybe I would be for it, but this is clearly technology getting in the way. In any case, all these eating spots in LGA seem to think this is some how cool, so you don’t have any choice. In truth it is irritating. I will attach a photo of the Delta ad I had to watch, over and over and over. Delta — go make sure my plane is on time so I don’t have to eat here! Oh, forgot to mention that if you buy one $ 12 beer and then want another, you have to order and swipe your card again. You can’t put two beers on one check!

Plastic knife, having to ask for water after being dry for a good 30 minutes and tipping before experiencing are three reasons I’m not jumping out of my pants over this establishment. Oh, and the staff doesn’t seem to give two shits about making the service match the fancy vibe and high price marks. The good? Sexy lighting and music to match. IPads with complimentary wifi at every table seating. Fresh juice and smoothies(truly refreshing — not the ones with all sorts of added nonsense) Several vegetarian options.

Stopped in here for breakfast before our flight as it seems to be the only option in the Delta Terminal. I was hungover from the New York Rangers victory the night before so I had the Steel-Cut Oatmeal($ 9) with brown sugar and a cup of coffee($ 3.25). A little overpriced, but you are a captive audience at the airport. It was okay. And it did help, a little, with my hangover

Overpriced, but decent. It’s an airport café. The food is decent. I ordered the 7oz burger($ 17) with an egg($ 2) and a domestic bottled beer($ 7.50). Gratuity was added automatically(which is not my favorite). Total came to $ 32.99. I asked for my burger«rare,» and it was delivered as such – juicy and delicious. The tomato that accompanied it – not so much. I substituted salad for fries, which apparently meant dry mixed greens with a slice of red onion. My beer was mediocre, but that’s Budweiser’s problem. ;) The USB charging ports are nice.

Every time I come back to this place I hate myself a little more. Ugh. Horrible service. Nothing ever comes out right. And the whole tipping before you get your food can’t exactly inspire a solid effort behind the counter. Whatever you do, don’t order a mixed drink. Someone needs to donate a Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide. Tuna crudo is actually quite nice.

Conveniently located just a few feet from your delta gate. Service is fast and food isn’t bad. You must try the brooklyn lager if you stop in. You order via iPad and they bring the food out to you in 15 minutes or less. Cheese burger and a beer plus tip was $ 32 it’s NYC after all…

Really a surprise to me in the wasteland that is LGA. A note — the star rating is influenced heavily by the fact that this is airport food, really this would be a three-star place anywhere else, but the rest of the options in Delta’s LGA terminals are so miserable. The breakfast pizza is really awesome, the pizzas are certainly big enough that if you are a pair sitting down to eat here, you can order one pizza and have more than enough food for the two of you. The bacon pizza with a spicy sauce really hit all the right spots too. The crust is a little bit doughy, but they do a decent enough job of cooking it and the toppings are usually fresh tasting. The really big downer is the absolutely atrocious service. The way the iPads are set up a server never really comes and asks you if you need anything, and the few times that has happened my request has essentially been completely ignored. But I will say, they move people in and out which is nice when there are flights to catch.

Last time I flew through LaGuardia, I made the mistake of having breakfast at Crust. They have this very impersonal ordering system through the iPads that are on every single table. Technology is great and all, but I’d prefer just to have a server come and take my order. I went with a Bloody Mary and a tasteless three cheese frittata. After about ten minutes, they brought me the wrong drink. You’d think they’d get the order right with technology helping, but no. They returned a little bit later with my Bloody Mary that was not tasty and most definitely not with the price tag. The frittata was bland and totally devoid of any cheese. I was starving after spending $ 30 for subpar drinks and eggs. Eggs are pretty hard to mess up – it’s kind of unbelievable how bad the food was. Avoid Crust for breakfast. Maybe dinner diners would fare better.

Pizza is mediocre, I had such high expectation looking at iPad menu photos but that’s as far as goes. I still prefer ½ the price artichoke pizza at terminal C. I do however loves the shake they mix, mine was green one with kale and Ginger and got me going after 3hr flight and 2hr layover and another 3hr to go. It’s crazy pricy and couldn’t believe I spent $ 30 for lunch. Keep in mind, tip is paid in advance. Must be new NYC thing…

Wow. I’m really shocked at how poorly this place is reviewed. As a self-proclaimed Neapolitan pizza connoisseur, I sought this place out when connected in LGA two weeks ago. This is a Jim Lahey creation, which if you aren’t familiar, is basically a god when it comes to bread baking, and especially, pizza dough. Do yourself a favor and google him, then go back to Crust.(I’m not normally a «celebrity chef whore,» but I do think this place is worth better than 2 overall stars, and would recommend anyone I know who connects in LGA to go here!) Anyway, the pizza. My god, the pizza. After deliberating for about 10 minutes over several pizzas that just sounded amazing, I finally decided on the cheese and herb, and added some spinach. I am SOGLAD that I did. This was such a flavorful combination, and was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The crust was perfectly chewy and charred, and came out at exactly the right temperature. I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch. I did order a glass of wine as well, which was pretty alright. For more wine, I went elsewhere in the terminal since Crust was a bit too dark for me during my 3-hour layover. Yes, it is expensive, but… you’re in 1) an airport; and 2) New York City. I paid over $ 30 for my pizza and one glass of wine, but I’m not sorry. I’m also not sorry I ate almost the entire pizza myself. I was on vacation. I REALLY do not understand why people are so up in arms about ordering on the iPad. It’s 2014. Get used to technology. Can we please focus on the actual food? The actual AMAZING food? I didn’t have any problems with the servers, as when I was seated the waitress walked me through how to order and thus I had no further issues. All in all I was grateful for the solidarity — it’s nice not to feel like a loser eating alone when the atmosphere is designed for solo travelers who just want some good food after being packed like sardines in a stale airplane for hours. Also, it’s nice that the iPads give you wifi! More than you can get without paying for it elsewhere in the airport. Geez o petes, people.
