Randy’s is awesome. From subs to pizza to the wings, there’s nothing that won’t make your taste buds happy!

Very very good NY style pizza. Sauce has good flavor and the toppings are great. Crust was perfect.

Love this Pizza!!! So glad to finally have a pizza delivered that consistently tastes good at a reasonable price. 45 mins. to an hour is definitely worth the wait.

The pizza was undercooked. The sausage is shaped like rabbit scat and tastes really bad. It could have been a bad night for them. Even though it’s close, I will not be returning.

After a disappointing trip to Trophy’s we wanted to get some really delicious pizza and I have been craving thin NY style pizza for awhile. This place was right near the Arboretum so we did made a day of it. The pizza is AWESOME, giant slices, bendy fold-able crust, stringy cheese with the perfect amount of cheese. Safe to say Randy’s Pizza certainly satisfied my craving. The reason they are not getting 5 is only because the garlic knots are just ok, I think they might be frozen and reheated, not always a bad thing but in this case it was noticeable. I probably wouldn’t get them again in the future. The sandwiches looked great, but we didn’t get the opportunity to test ‘em out. Maybe n our next visit… Service was good, no complaints. Price was right for two slices and a drink.

They have the most wonderfully decadent, delicious, make-everything-better garlic knots– floating in oil, garlic and herbs. They gave us 3 pieces with whatever we ordered even without getting the appetizer portion. We have also gotten some great baked ziti — because if a working mom with kids who are in activities wants to feed the children, it’s so much better to just order this! The kids alfredo portion is very generous. If you just want a serving spoon size each, 6 people could take some. They give a side salad with entrees. They are fairly busy so you may want to avoid 6 pm on the dot.

Randy’s makes some pretty good NY style Pizza. I ordered one to go, veggie. Their sizing is one size up from what you expect. If you order medium, it is actually large to extra large. The Pizza was very well made. The crust was good, sauce was tasty, cheese was good, and the veggies were well done. The order was ready on time and the staff were pleasant. I would definitely come back.

Cheap, fast and tasty! This was a great pit stop on a long road trip. It was very close to the highway(and a Starbucks), and the staff was quite helpful when I was having trouble ordering due to my frazzled and tired brain. The pizza slices were HUGE, too. I would definitely stop here again on our next road trip from Nashville to Nags Head. The bathroom was clean and private, too.

As a former New Yorker and someone who grew up in Jersey, this is the closest NY style pizza pie joint you will find in Raleigh. Huge portions and great specialty pies!

I have been coming here since they opened a few years ago. The slices are huge! 2 slices and drink for under 7 bucks. It’s definitely the best pizza that I have found in Raleigh. Closest to north Jersey /NY pizza that I have found. The place is clean, staff are friendly. They even remember my name. You will not be disappointed at this pizza place.

Truly a hit or miss and quite frankly, I don’t know if it’s worth the gamble. I’ve been coming here religiously after discovering their super thin-crust/rich in flavor pizzas but I think that’s everything I can rave about for this place. Service can be pretty pitiful when there is a crowd. Not so friendly workers and a 40 minute wait for 6 measly wings? Yeah we ordered everything at once and my pizza/garlic knot combo came out in a timely manner but not the rest of our order. We FINISHED our pizza and had to WAIT for the rest of our order. Thankfully, we shared the first combo or else it would’ve been real awkward– each of us taking turns to watch the other eat… Does it really take 40 minutes to cook 6 mini wings? This place is no fancy dine in– it’s a quick fast food spot. So yeah, I was not happy eating wings that took forever and tasted like ones I could buy pre-cooked at a grocery store and warm up myself. Oh and the garlic knots were lukewarm on the outside and cold on the inside. Bonus, they were rocks… At least their fries and pizza are consistently good. Also, whenever we asked the workers about the rest of our menu, they replied as if we were in the wrong. Overall, I have learned the hard way that they can’t handle crowds. They can try but it’ll result in grumpy workers and unbelievably long waits.

Our favorite spot to get take-out from!!! The subs are phenomenal and so reasonably priced. I highly recommend the meatball parm and the chicken philly. They’re big enough to save half for the next day and they don’t skimp on toppings like most places. We got one of their«extra large» specialty pizzas(had chicken, jalapeños, bacon, pineapple) and weren’t too impressed. If I got pizza again I will just stick to pepperoni because the last one wasn’t memorable and seemed overpriced. Not enough sauce or more importantly, toppings, for a ‘za of that price and size. Try not to modify your order too much, attempted to add mushrooms to a sub twice now and have been charged for them both times without actually receiving them on my food. Regardless, Randy’s is my take-out savior!

Was tipped off this place has great pizza. Eh, that was just not the case. This place has a great, inexpensive deal on slices of pizza. The crust was floppy yet crispy with a fine amount and dispursement of toppings, but I was not blown away by the taste as others were. Certainly not worth the cash for a whole pie.

This is some of the best pizza nearby. Huge floppy slices and seemingly fresh ingredients. The crust is very good also. I really like their sausage. Sometimes the pizza can be a bit soggy though.

Tired of fake/sloppy pizza? Well Randy’s is one of the few places in North Carolina that knows how to make authentic pizza. Originally from up north, this restaurant brings me back to what I enjoy… Good pizza. Whether it is a quick slice to go or a sit down sandwich and drink, I recommend Randy’s if you’re in the mood for Italian food. Bonus: The employees are always very friendly.

I went to Ralph’s for an impromptu dinner, where I didn’t know what I wanted, and let me tell you I was impressed. Let me also tell you I am very biased against New York style pizza. Usually, I’m very open that I feel NY style pizza is overrated, bland, and boring. Not the case with Randy’s. The slices are huge, thin, and expertly prepared. As someone who has HADNY pizza(like in NY), I can say this is better. The cheese, sauce, and crust all complement themselves extremely well. I finished the plain slice first, and then ate the pepperoni. Both were excellent, so it’s not like I required a topping to hide bad seasoning or poorly cooked pizza. Neither was the case, the pizza was extremely well-prepared. In short, if you are in the Raleigh area, and looking for pizza, I suggest you give this place a try.

Yay, Randys! Finally there’s a location in Raleigh and I was able to stop in for lunch. Randy’s is known for its huge pizza slices and it’s no different in here. My quick lunch stop was a bit over the top. I grabbed a veal parmigiana sub and the one slice special with garlic knots and a drink. We’re talking a boat-load of food, Randy’s probably serves up the largest slice of NY-style pizza in the area. The veal parm sub was excellent, a large, crunchy and fluffy bun stuffed with two breaded fillets and covered with a solid sauce and melted mozz. A great example of an Italian classic. My slice of pepperoni is also good and HUGE! Randy’s is probably top 3 for NY pizza in this area from what I’ve seen. The other great thing about Randy’s is the service. Super-fast and friendly, they do a volume business here and know how to get you in and out fast. So great pizza and food, fast service at reasonable prices. The Randy’s Pizza formula works just as well in Raleigh as it does in Durham. Welcome to the City of Oaks, Randy!

Super, super good pizza. I live in a town that doesn’t have many good pizza joints other than the typical Pizza Hut, Domino’s, etc. so while staying at the hospital with my sick family member in Rex Hospital this was an awesome find. We ordered an 18-inch pepperoni & mushroom pizza to be delivered to the hospital. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait. 15 minutes later I received a phone call from the delivery guy saying that he has arrived! The pizza was HUGE and reminded me of the pizza available up north(I’m originally from Philly). Big slices that are foldable. The toppings were fresh, seasoned, and perfectly greasy. It was around $ 20 for the 18″ pizza and it was worth every penny!

I go here(Lake Boone Trl) a couple times a week. From Boston. Pros: Great pizza. Big slices. One of the best Buff Chicken pies ever. Cons: Don’t expect service with a smile. Pizza by the slice will come out soggy for some reason. I usually go on my break from work, and a couple of times now they’ve forgotten to throw my slices in, so I have to go back up and remind them. More than slightly annoying. I continue to go back because I love a quick slice and don’t have time to hit up Frank’s in S.E. Raleigh on my breaks.
