Peet’s Coffee & Tea

I love this place! The coffee is so much better than Starbucks!
The staff are always nice, and even tonight at 5:50 pm they were still pleasant when most of us were rushing around for Christmas!

I felt the need to review this Peets again. The staff is always attentive and well trained. Plus, I only drink drip coffee and it’s by far the best there is anywhere. They usually stop brewing that by the time I come in later in the day so it’s brewed fresh for me. Love that.

That two for one drink special on thanksgiving weekend brought me in and now i know that peets makes a much better latte than starbucks

I can’t go a day without my Peet’s cup of coffee. It’s great. I personally think the coffee is better than starbucks. The environment is great. Very comfortable and cozy. The employees are very happy and helpful. The location is great too – walking distance to the beach. My favorite coffee shop in the Riviera Village!

I really like peets coffee, and I think the drinks here are better than both Starbucks and coffee bean. However that’s just my opinion, although I think If you try it for yourself you will agree.
This location is nice and located in the rolling hills plaza near trader Joe’s and l’amande. Its nice to study here, and if I want a snack I just go to trader Joe’s and get some snacks. Last time I got pickle popcorn, salami, and those butter waffle things that are delicious. My friends judged me but it’s all good, as I enjoyed my delicious snacks.
Anyway, on to the actual Pete’s coffee. The coffee here and drinks here are pretty good, and I like the atmosphere. The workers are chill and nice too. The atmosphere is just great, and I like the classical music they play, as it is great for studying.
My only issue here is the wifi can be really slow and unreliable, which is a deal breaker for a lot of people. However, I find it to be a blessing in disguise, as I get less distracted since Facebook and Reddit or what not is loading slowly, so I just end up doing my work and studying for my mcat.
Overall 4.5 stars in terms of chain coffee places, this one is one of my favorites.

Pet’s Coffee House is a small cozy coffee house. It has very friendly staff, very nice coffee drinks that are not as expensive a Starbucks. It was a very nice first experience we had a white chocolate almond mocha with octopus latte art.

My go to for great coffee. I like a lot of room in my coffee for cream and sugar (yes I have a sweet tooth.) One day one of the employee’s told me to order a medium size coffee and they’ll put it in a large cup for me so I’ll save some money. The employee’s here are always friendly and polite. Being a coffee drinker for all these years, I never really compared or noticed the differences in flavors until I started coming here. I really enjoy their medium roast. It’s a flavorful cup of coffee that doesn’t taste burnt. I may also suggest their teas as well. They also are full of flavor and refreshing on a summer day.

There was zero sitting inside due to being so busy so we had to sit outside. Tough to hear sometimes with the traffic going by but nice breeze and welcoming space.

I love this particular Peet’s location — conveniently located right next to Chipotle, so it’s fun to grab a coffee before or after lunch ;)
They have a private parking lot and the staff members have always been friendly and helpful. I love their hot white chocolate mocha — much better than Starbucks!

Very slow Wi-​Fi at this coffee shop, otherwise it’s a pretty decent coffee place and much better than Starbucks.
