Slow, slow service. We ate dinner there on a Sunday night. I don’t know if I have ever had slower service. We arrived at 5:50pm and had to wait 30 mins for a table. We were seated at 6:20 and did not leave until 8 pm. The kids were incredibly restless having to sit for an hour waiting for food. The table next to us was empty for an hour but there were people waiting to be seated out front. The food was good but the organization and service needs improvement.

Actual Rating: 2.5 Stars So, I’ve been to this location twice in the past month. I’m craving chain restaurants for some reason or just the cheddar biscuits. The first visit I would rate as a 3 star visit. My fiancé and I were seated. Our waiter came and said, «Is this y’all’s first date? You can’t take her to Hardee’s after this.» Actually, we are little bit past the first date. Not sure if our youth added with our hunger made us look as if we were nervous and on a first date. Anyways, I ordered the raspberry tea which I am pretty sure is snapple. While snapple is good, it was not what I was looking for on this visit. The biscuits arrived and they were delicious. I ordered grilled tilapia with broccoli and green beans. It was a simple meal, no frills as I was trying to be healthy. It was a little on the bland side, could’ve used more salt or pepper but again it was okay because I wanted to be healthy. Overall, it was just an okay meal. On the second visit, I was very disappointed. My fiancé and I went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon around noon. No, the restaurant was not busy. We were seated and waited 15 minutes before anyone came. When the server did come, we ordered and she had no idea what we were ordering. She had to look at the menu to understand that I wanted the lunch shrimp caesar salad and that my fiancé wanted the lunch popcorn shrimp. I find it a little odd that a server works at Red Lobster during lunch and is largely unaware of what is on the lunch special page. After waiting another 15 minutes, our meal and the biscuits arrived. They were out of biscuits when we got there and had to make them while we were there. That’s okay, but I have to wonder why they were so unprepared for customers coming in at noon. Anyways, salad was fine. Nothing special. This visit was closer to a 2-star visit because of the service and long waits during the lunch hour.

Well, I’ll never come here again… I sat at the bar for an hour today hoping for a quick bite to eat. It was just me and I was traveling on business. The bartender was clearly in no hurry to help anyone… meandering around the bar area without a concern in the world. When he finally did make his way over to take my order, he waited about 5 – 10 minutes before putting it in the computer and in doing so, yelled across the bar to confirm my order, which he had clearly forgotten. The entire time I was there, there were dirty dishes a few spots over from me that were not bussed… from the time I arrived to the time I left. I ordered a Caesar salad and shrimp lettuce wraps. Both were ok… not far off from what I would expect at Red Lobster. The cheesey and garlicky buttermilk biscuits were delicious. BOTTOMLINE: Carefree bartender, facility a little dirty, descent food… what does that add up to?

We had dinner here while in town for the nascar race. There was about an hour wait, which we figured was normal for a Friday night during race weekend. All of the servers, hostesses and food runners were extremely nice. The food was amazing, shrimp cooked perfectly. The Malibu hurricane was made really well. We had a great time with friends and when we left there was still people waiting! All in all a great experience, we will definitely come back next year.

My parents love red lobster, so we go here when they visit. We are a dip that was very tasty, plenty of butter artichoke and lobster. The fried platter I had wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable. During our meal I overheard a server say«I don’t like lobster and I liked this dish». My wife had a steak and mashed potatoes which was cooked to order and the meat was tender. The waitress was very nice and helpful with our child. The food is over priced and there are better local shops to support in Richmond.

I have visited this location a few times and each time I am disappointed at the service I receive. The food is mediocre, however the service is horrible. Plan to wait awhile for service, especially if you make a call in order to go.

Red Lobster doesn’t change the menu much. It looks like the same from when the last time I visited, which was over ten years ago. I had a gift card to use otherwise I wouldn’t have eaten here. There could be a friendlier welcome upon arrival. Just nothing to say except the food was just ok. Nothing to make me want to return.

This must be the delinquent Red Lobster. I was greeted by a blah server. There were 2 other tables already seated. Service was severely lacking, slow and unfriendly. I forgive everything if food is good but I’ll just cite the photos and assure you it taste as awful as it looks.

Red lobster redeemed themself tonight, I went with a party of 15 to celebrate a birthday… Food was good. And our server Shaniqua was great. She handled the large group with ease and was very polite and personable. In the interest of getting in shape, I was able to talk myself out of the many high calorie foods and settled on a seafood stuffed flounder with a baked potato. it was a mental struggle, but I didnt get it loaded like I normally like to. As always, the ceasar salad was delicious. I guess times are hard, cause even red lobster has made some changes in pricing. The server informed us that the strawberry lemonades do not come with free refills but the rasberry ones do. I know, strange right? She said its because the strawberry are hand made and the rasberry ones are minute maid. Lets see. Onto the cheese biscuits. Delicious as usual. They were tough to walk away from. Sucks trying to eat healthy in a restaurant like this. But I managed it somehow. Onto the libations… I ordered a perfect patron margarita… It definitly lived up to its name… Perfect… Overall, a great night.

My girlfriend and I went to this location based on the Unilocal reviews. This Red Lobster did not disappoint. The layout and décor were superior to any other one I’d been to and the staff was genuinely pleasant. In addition, the service was quick and to the point — exactly what I want from a chain restaurant. I got the scampi, stuffed flounder, and shrimp alfredo, all delicious. Subbing salad for an extra side was easy and at no cost. My girlfriend got the parmesean encrusted talapia, which was slightly mushy, but not over or under cooked, still delicious. A great place for a nice quick sit-down meal. And yes, we bagged a basket of the biscuits. :)

The only reason I went through the trouble of registering for Unilocal was to give this place a bad review!!! Every time I come to Richmond and attempt to eat here there seem to be excessive wait times for a half empty restaurant. 25 minute wait for a table for 1.2 days in a row. I am a frequent traveler who is not going to wait here to spend my money on a road full of other eateries. Try staffing your locations appropriately. Disgraceful performance for a well respected national chain who’s food I usually enjoy. Try Longhorns a few doors down.

I did not sit down to eat but while waiting at the bar for my carry out the staff was very nice. Not the fake nice they teach you in training but genuinely nice. Likely the nicest staff in a restaurant I’ve been to in a while.
