I tried this place out for the 1st time this weekend. We ordered a large pizza, an Italiam sub, and Buffalo wings. My toddlers are picky eaters when it comes to food and usually they hate pizza where the cheese ends up 2x as big in their mouth as they chew. This was the 1st pizza that they did not remove pieces of cheese from their mouth and they asked for more. I enjoyed it too. It has a very subtle taste, nothing is overpowering. It was still great the next day too. The sub was delicious and put together very neatly. I didn’t try the buffalo wings, but my husband was pleased. Also, this place is well kept. I was surprised how clean it was when I walked in. They have a small dessert area too. I saw something called a Brownie Ball and I’ll be trying one next time we order from here. We’ll definitely be ordering from this place when we do take out from now on.

Loved the food! Had the Hawaiian pizza and was one of the best pizzas we ever had. The cannoli was the BESTEVER! They make the filling from scratch and it is not over yet sweet.

This place is absolutely awesome! I have never had a bad meal here. Yesterday I got the«Amore Salad» after several people had recommended it. I’m not usually impressed by salad but it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had! The portions are enormous compared to the price and I agree with other reviewers that the couple who owns it are incredibly nice and add to the overall experience. They make everything from scratch, even the soups. Don’t leave without getting one of the little cakes or pastries too!

Most underated place in Salem NH. Everything is good here. Pizza and subs are made with fresh ingredients. I love this place and they are open late which is a plus.

Salads are fresh(not made hours in advance) and the food is always good. I’m a really picky eater and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The prices are fair or below what I’d expect to pay. It’s a great value and the owner is awesome. It makes it easy to support the business of such a nice guy. Try this place — you’ll be happy you did!

Great place! The older couple that own the place are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. My wife & go here at least once a month. We usually get the Sicilian style pizza and the Amore Salad… delicious! The pizza is one of the least greasy Sicilian styles I’ve ever head. We’ll continue going here as out take our pizza spot.

Great service! Great food! Cyrus is the man! He accidentally over charged us a few months ago and he called my wife back to let us know he did. Just ordered tonight, reminded him of the credit not expecting him to remember or honor it but HEDID! Much respect for him and the business!

Due to lack of interest, Amore does NOT serve alcohol anymore. You heard me! NOMOREBEERONTAP! What?!? The $ 1.50/draft was too much? Owner tells me it just wasn’t selling and the fees and tax was too much… so its back to soda. No big loss, still the BESTPIZZAINTOWN! You can really taste the love. Tell they Toyota Rick sent ya.

Amore is still my «go to» place for lunch. Most of the time I get a chicken kabob over salad or rice, and finish the rest for dinner. They even have fresh baked goods for you to take home! BTW,…Last time I was there the owner gave me a free delicious coffee cake to take home!!! Very nice owners as well!!!

Stopped if on Friday night. Dinning area very clean and lots of great looking deserts to choose from. No beer or wine available and next door to an adult store. Ordered a large pizza to take home with 3 toppings. When we git it home we were disappointed with the pie. A little under cooked. Crust was dry and cracker like. NOT over loaded with topping but plenty of cheese. I might give it a second chance.

This is the best restaurant in Salem. Everything is so good. The meat in the steak subs is incredibly lean but also very tender, The salads are very fresh. The pizzas are good; the sauce is not too sweet and the crust is just right, not too thick or thin. I normally do not like ricotta cheese because of the gritty texture but the ricotta in the calzones is wonderfully smooth and creamy. The dinners(chicken & eggplant parmesan, manicotti) are great. There is so much food in the dinners I get 2 meals out of them. The large variety of homemade desserts is very tempting. The baklava is the best I have ever had, even better than I have eaten at Mediterranean restaurants. Lastly, the owners are the NICEST people you will ever meet in any business establishment.

Best food in Salem. They care about their customers and care a lot about what they serve. The steak bomb is out of this world. Fresh bread, tender steak that isn’t greasy, and packed with flavor. Everything I’ve ever had from them has been spectacular. Go here… YOUWILLNOTREGRETIT!

I stopped in to the actual store about a month ago. It was a Friday or Saturday night and I had called in an order. I was surprised(and a little sad) to see it completely empty. The restaurant is well lit, bright and open and looked spotlessly clean! As I approached a kind soft spoken women acknowledged me and I told her I had placed an order for pick up, my food was ready and waiting to go so that was nice. At the cash register they have a case full of all kinds of baked goods. I kept eyeing a chocolate coconut cake pop and decided to get that as well. I remarked to the lady how it was my first time actually being IN here that I usually only get deliveries, and so she gave me a cookie lol. She insisted, who am I to refuse a free chocolate chip cookie? ;D When I got home, my food was still hot and as I expected delicious. The cake pop was amazeballs, I didn’t know what to expect, but definitely worth getting! It was just so nice to see how clean the place was and how genuinely friendly they are. Whenever you call they are, but you just never know what you’ll get in person. Here you are greeted with a friendly smile and I appreciate that.

A Salem native born and raised here and this is hands down the best pizza of the dozen places plus in Salem. Besides the typical pizza and subs, they offer daily specials of everything from kibbee to New England clam chowder, grape leaves and baklava. All are home made and fresh. The sicilian slices are great too, plus they offer wine and beer, not typical for a pizza place. The husband and wife who own this place are the nicest people I’ve ever encountered in any food service place and are all smiles and remember your name. It’s been in business for 25 years for a reason. It is tucked away beside an adult bookstore and nail salon in the Child’s Plaza on 28 across from Ski Haus. It’s easy to drive by, so look carefully. I’ve never had a bad experience here and it’s why I keep going back for the delicious food.

Amore Pizza is tucked away in a «strip plaza» with the gas station, across the road from Wicked Cheesy Pizza. The menu offers pizza, salads, pizza calzones, strombolis, hot & cold subs, pasta dinners, chicken fingers, kabobs, rice combo, baklava, sweet chips, & bottled Coke products. The prices are reasonable, most items under $ 10. Daily specials are posted. I went here on a chilly moonlit Sunday evening for takeout. When I got here, the place was busy. A large group of track team members were already seated at several tables enjoying their pizzas and salads. I ordered a small cheese pizza($ 6.95) and a lasagna dinner($ 7.95) served with salad and baked garlic bread. The food was ready in 15 minutes. The owner(an older gent) constantly had a big infectious smile. The NY style pizza tasted pretty good hot out of the oven, a nice thin soft crust(thick along the edges with some air bubbles, browned) and lots of cheese and sauce. The lasagna was very good and very filling, had firm layers of noodles, sauce cheeses, and meat. The side salad was decent and the garlic bread with buttery. Overall, 3.75 stars.
