Came to chuck e cheese on Mothers Day… Tried to have good time because my kids love this place but in San Jose. However here in Salinas, some of the games did not work and it’s dissapointimg for the kids… Then an employee by the name of SHANIYEA Or something at the prize counter is extremely poor customer service oriented. I watched as the Hispanic speaking parents tried talking to her exchanging tickets for prizes and she was NOTHING but Rude and impatient. Things can be overwhelming, if you can’t put on a fake smile then LOOKFOR A NEWJOB. However Barbara was AWSOME!!!

When I was younger I played forever in Chuck E Cheese. I hadn’t been in one in forever. Needless to say, we got my 3 year old VERY excited to go and then we got there and saw there’s no more structures, it’s just a big, kid casino. It was so disappointing! He kept asking when we were going to get to play on their playground. There’s not much for a little one to do and my 1 year old was bored senseless. My husband even said if they would have had some sort of play structure, we would go back, but won’t since there’s nothing to play on. So sad!

We stopped here on our way home from a mini vacation with the kids and found this Chuck E Cheese to be really pleasant. The staff was friendly and attentive we had issues with some of the machines but they were fixed promptly and we were given game credits to enjoy other games as well. Food was good and the prices are never bad. It’s always better to have a coupon handy though. The pizza was actually ok and had a nice garlicky taste to it and not overwhelming for the taste palate. No chuck e present though at least until birthday parties started is what we were told. This location still does tokens thankfully. The new points cards are awful. My family and I rate this 5 stars

Had my daughter’s birthday party here on a Sunday, it was not very packed at 1:30,but by 3was getting very packed. The new packages are okay, you get a super person cape and a trip to the ticket blaster. The party host we had was not very kid friendly. No real emotion and was beginning to wonder why she had a job that dealt with so many kids. Billy is the manager and did a great job. He was very good at getting the kids involved when they were singing the birthday song. Just as a FYI pizza slices are small, so be prepared to feed the kids shortly after party. Also when the two hours are up they only give a table for four to move to. That was a little hard with 16 kids and 22 adults.

I went in to go reserve a date and time for my sons bday party coming up the manager wouldn’t even listen to anything I had to say he just told me to go online or to call the phone number. When I asked why if the phone # on the paper is the same number to this location he tried to lie and say it wasn’t that they have separate # to book a party that was BS I’m sorry I’m sure we all get frustrated at time at our job but bottom line it’s your job if u don’t like it I suggest u start looking for another one maybe where you aren’t involved with so many customers. None of my questions got answered it was a waste of my time and gas to drive there

Took my Godson out to celebrate his potty training. Called it his«poop party.» My friend lives in Soledad and we live in the San Mateo area. This was the best Chuck-E-Cheese so my friend didn’t have to drive out to San Jose. I grew up going to the, I have to say the best CEC in San Jose. It’s 2 stories tall. I think there isn’t anything compared to that location? The Salinas spot is for sure a lot smaller, but the city isn’t that big. You have to think about what is your need? We were able to find a table. Ordered the 2 pizza with 4 sodas, upgraded 10 tokens. Spent like $ 80? We fed 4 adults, and 3 kids. The good thing is the games required only 1 token. Some of the games work and other’s didn’t. My biggest issue was that darn mechanical horse the kids like to ride. There is always a line for that sucker. But I found that this little blond girl was hogging the crap out of it, while these sad little kids kept waiting. There needs to be some adult management from the parents on that end. Other than that, the kids had a blast.

It Was A Nice Experience To Be Honest. No Kids Runnin Around, The Pizza And Chicken Wings Were Bomb. A Lot Of Games To Play With, And Good Food Service! Only Problem Is Its Cleaniness

Chuck E Cheese is Chuck E Cheese in any city you visit. A bunch of kids running around all over the place high on sugary soda, cotton candy and not even touching the pizza. Its funny to hear people complaining over kids running around… ITS A KIDSVIRTUALPLAYGROUND! That’s like complaining about kids running around at the park(you can’t)…its no different other than the noise being contained in one enclosed area. Where else are you going to find games that take 1 token ?? What is hilarious is that someone complaining about the sketchiness of people at the«Salinas» CEC? Gimme a break, excuse us for not being to your standards. If you don’t like Salinas, don’t bring your kids here. But thanks for supporting the Salinas big box businesses while our kids are at school. Staff is helpful, yet stressed due to obvious understaffed schedule. Ill give them a star for effort. Another star for Barbara, who offered me their personal coffee because my tumbler ran out and I was kidding around for coffee. A very nice gesture indeed. As for the Pizza, it came hot and ready… yes, pun intended. Kids can’t tell the difference and will give it 10 stars, adults will compare it to Casa Sorrento’s, pizza factory and Gianni’s and give it 1 – 1.5 stars. The salad bar was completely stocked with the essentials, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to complain about… another star. It was a summer Monday afternoon when i brought my kids and about an estimated 50 people inside. Tables were clean, young lady in the front checked hand stamps, bathroom was clean, soda machines were clean, table was NOT sticky and majority, at sight, was clean. Maintenance worker for the games constantly walked around making sure games worked okay and giving away tickets. It was air conditioned and had WiFi. I ain’t complaining. Rant: To those who watch the media believing that Salinas is SOSCARY and such a warzone… who are you comparing Salinas with? There are scumbags everywhere you go… that’s inevitable.

What is the the point of PREORDERING pizzas when they aren’t even ready until the other regular ordered pizzas arrive. Inconvenient for guests who just drove 3 hrs to get there. The reserved spot was for 2 hours and just waiting for the pizzas took 45mins. No one even gave us drink cups until my disabled aunt went up to the front to complain. Does anyone there even know of the thing called«customer service»? CEC used to be fun back in the 90s but now there’s just 1 host next to Chuck who is barely enthused as the Clear Eyes guy. #Disappointed

Normally I’d give this place a 2 star due to it’s location and clientele that I’ve seen here prior — VERY scary. Today though my kids were out of school(a different city that the restaurant) but the locals were not. We had the place to ourselves! When we walked in there were 2 or 3 people cleaning and repairing items, the singular woman that checked us in and helped us with out order was outstanding and very accommodating. I was«impressed» and I never expect that kind of service here. We spent the first hour playing and had the place nearly to ourselves. I felt my kids were safe, the place was clean and not overly stimulating to my youngest son(who has environmental stimulus challenges). I was surprised that the pizza they were eating wasn’t half bad either. While this is only the 2nd time our family has been there in 5 years we might go back under similar circumstances — midweek/local kids in school/early in the day. Thanks to the staff their on 2÷19÷14 — you made it a worth while treat for my kids.

Their service has gone downhill lately… They need to have more training and a stricter management who visits the place on weekends when its really busy and sees how they handle things…

I normally go to the Dublin or Concord locations. We were coming home from a long car trip and saw this location and decided it was a good place to let my daughter run around before going in the car again. I used a coupon, which I do all the time at the other two locations and I was given three child sized drink cups. I told the guy I normally get regular sized cups and was told these were the cups with the coupons. Again I said I’ve been coming to Chuck E Cheese for two years now with my daughter and I always got normal sized cups. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. The benches all have lost there springs. As I sat down my neck was at the table line. I also didn’t like that the lady at the salad bar was following me and if I didn’t put the spoon back where she wanted it she would grab it set it down somewhere else. The place was clean and not crowded but we were there on a Monday at noonish.

I always give 4 or 5 stars, but this place is so crowded and don’t have enough staff to serve. The worst ever experience !

This is a fairly poor Chuck E Cheeses. The staff is ok. The hand stamper person was nice. The cashier was great. The token person was nice. The women that helped were rude. The maintenance person was friendly but hard to find(there should be more than one). Many of the machines were broken. The floors were dirty. The tables were not wiped down. The games were ok. There were not many games for smaller children. Half of the tables were for birthday parties only. There was no real«chuck e cheese show», other than things shown on TVs, even though it was hyped up that there was a live«show» coming up. The salad bar was ok. The slide smelled of urine and had gum on it. It is questionable how often the slide is cleaned.

Ehh… Chuck E Cheese is Chuck E Cheese. Nothing else to expect but running, crying and laughing kids all over the place, while the parents and guardians stuff their faces with some unlimited salad and some okay pizza.

Food was horrible but the kids loved it. Salad bar was the best part of the experience. Tables were sticky and they did not clean up after guest right-away and the floors were disgusting. However, I should mention that my visit was at 7 o’clock at night but I still feel they should keep there restaurant clean at all times. For the children, the games were easy to play and gave lots of tickets which is what the kids wanted to free. Winnings/toys were really cheap and broke easily. Warning: Don’t leave your belonging unattended in this restaurant because they get some very interesting characters as patrons.

Ok so going out to Chuck E Cheese’s for a birthday party. Oh, MY gawd. This place was so filthy. You’d think that maybe once in a while you’d get time to… You know… CLEAN something? The bathrooms are like… Eww. Geez would it be too much trouble to at least keep toilet seat covers in stock? I mean come on. Really? One Reason I refused to play was that… Like seriously. There were like 50 kids in the little tube structure hey have and they are all crawling around. Gross. Not once have I come here and caught them cleaning their structure. I hope that I never have to go to a birthday party here again, for fear of catching a flu or something… No… I’m not a germaphobe… But I still believe this place is pretty gross.

You know you’re getting old when you have lost all feeling for CEC. Seeing giant rodents, bratty children, and miserable work slaves just doesn’t do it for me like it used to. Dumpy place, nasty bathrooms, and no fun code yellow/browns are called over the PA because there’s no ball pit. I wouldn’t be surprised if you caught some H1N1 or Foodborne Illness either.

So I went here to support a friend who’s second grader was having a bday. This place is SUPERSMALL compared to the other Chuck E. Cheese’s locations here in Norcal. The bathrooms looked like they had not been clean in five hours or so(tampons etc. hanging out everywhere, toilet paper on the floor, no one had cleaned out the paper towels/emptied the trash). Yes this place is for small children, which is why the clean factor is so crucial. The pizza wasn’t half bad– they ran out of ice and it took forever for someone to refill the soda dispenser(ice and also the lemonade)… their ice tea tasted like it had been chilling there since the Ice Age. What grossed me out the most was when looking at the prizes with students, my girlfriends and I saw where they store their salad: to the right of the employee entrance, on the floor NOTREFRIGERATED and underneath some balloons below a helium tank… talk about filthy! Just as my friends gave me the«thank god we didn’t get salad face» someone came out from the kitchen and refilled the pasta– which looked limp and it was very apparent it had been sitting out in excess water for a minute… that was enough to kill our appetites. Anyways– the bday party was fun… but this place is a dump. If a health inspector came through they would be mortified.
