Always come here! Ordered many boxes and they helped me out to my car good costumer service!!!

Just nasty pizza… Under cooked and nasty flavor… Find out for yourself. Or be smart and read all the reviews. I have gave them 3 chances thinking it was a bad day… It was not a bad day. Just a bad place to eat.

Never returning here again! Placed an online order on Sat. 04÷16÷16 at 6:05 pm. for 2 (two) medium pizzas. Estimated delivery time said 45 min. I called them at 7:08 to ask if they knew when our delivery would arrive, the female who ans. said it should arrive asap it already went out for delivery. Called back at 7:41, still no pizza. When our delivery guy finally arrived he only had 1 pizza!!! I called back again, same female answered every time, this time she said she was the manager. She said they would make us another pizza ASAP and have their other delivery guy who was there bring it to us NOW. 1 hour later, still no pizza. Called them again, at 8:50 she said the owner himself was making this delivery. He should be arriving anytime. Our pizza was finally delivered at 9:03 by the same kid who brought the first one. (Did she think we would believe that kid was the owner? Lol) It took them 3 hours to deliver a cold pizza. Needless to say, I will NEVER be returning there. They’re not the only mountain mikes in salinas. Will be going to N. main location or Alisal. even lil Caesars has better service than this place. So I usually use Unilocal to help me find a good restaurant, find a good hotel, and many other things, but today I decided to write my very first review. We came down to Salinas for a softball tournament my daughter and her team were playing in. Last night a few families including ours decided on Mountain Mikes for dinner. The pizza was yummy and the service was good. This morning I realized I left my sons diaper bag there. I was pretty upset and stressed because I had two pair of expensive sunglasses, my wallet, and an iPhone inside the bag. We made our way over to the restaurant a little after 10:00 am in hopes of catching a store opener. Our luck, there were two people about to walk in. I told them I left my bag and they knew exactly where it was. Everything was inside. I was so thankful that they were honest people. So thank you again Mountain Mikes employees… and yes, we will definitely be back when we’re here for our next tournament.

This place is the worst. Me and my bf came in after a long drive from Oregon on our way back to Los Angeles looking for a local pizza joint to check out. We picked this place since it seemed pretty decent and it was open on easter Sunday. Unfortunately we did not get to try their pizza being that the cashier forgot to place our order in.
After 25 minutes of waiting my bf politely asked how much longer will it be until the pizza is ready. The girl then proceeded to write down our order on her hand and went to the kitchen to place the order, or so we thought. 10 minutes later we over hear her telling the kitchen staff what toppings are supposed to go on our pizza. It was ridiculous. The girl literally had one job and she fucked it up.
The restaurant was practically empty so there’s no reason to why there should’ve been any miscommunication or a lag for that matter. We ended up getting our money back, with no apology from the girl on the counter or the manager. This is one place I hope no one invests time or money into.

They serve great pizza and salad, they are always cheerful and nice when you go in and if you eat there they take the best care of serving you, and if its to go they make sure you dont have a long waiting time… great people that work there

I have to give this place a star cuz it won’t let me do the review but here we go were do I even start customer service sucks I’m sorry but it does I called in a pizza the girl on the phone was rude and when I got there she was with an attitude that omg I live 5 mins away next time I’ll drive to the other side of town to get my pizza the pizza was cold I mean I’m spending 40+ dollars to get a food pizza not a piece of shit I’m sorry but people like that should have jobs she was slamming phone hanging up on people talking back no not a good experience

I love this pizza and grew up eating it. I haven’t lived near a MM for 20 years, but when I’m back in Salinas, this is one of my must haves. I can honestly say that I’d rather have MM than any of the celebrated NYC pizza spots and not sure if it’s the crust, sauce or what, but it’s delicious. I usually stick to pep

Nice enough, pizza was good, salad bar good, but nothing that was really outstanding. Just so-​so.

Ok let’s start at the beginning. We walk in and every table is dirty. We had to clean a table ourselves to be able to sit down. Then I order and it’s $ 50. For two drinks, two salads and a xl pizza. The salad bar was pathetic and my salad was basically lettuce and tomato because everything else was empty oh and the lettuce had enough left for me to make mine, it was empty afterward. They call my name and I go up after saying the pizza was for HERE. She goes to hand me a box and says «to go. Right?» No actually here. «Well it says to go» uh ok. They put the pizza on the platter and bring it to the table and hmmm there’s barely toppings on this golden pizza. Okay it’s edible and my kids are eating. That’s what’s important. Afterward the kids are playing the machines and it eats their quarters. Her response «yeah… We have a sign… We don’t refund when it eats money» great. How about a sign that says this machine is broken. Well, hopefully after all this I don’t get food poisoning.

The Pizza was great but the service from the lady name Blanca was apathetic she has bad attitude she just throw the dish on the table and didn’t even bring the condiments that they usually take to your table I had to stop eating and go get them myself.

Once again, online ordering gets it wrong. Delivery is free to areas three miles or less away. I live 1.53 miles from the restaurant but could not leave to pick up order. My child was down with the flu and the entire household was not feeling well. How to remedy the problem of being charged for a bogus delivery fee? I know; forget about the tip. That ought to bring it to their attention.

Ordered 2 pizzas for carry out tonight at 6:45 my wife went to pick them up at 7:15 and was told the pizzas were still in the oven. She waited 45 mins at the restraunt and when they called her up to the counter to get the pizzas the boxes weren’t even hot and by the time she got home the pizzas were lukewarm (5 mins away). To top it off one of the pizzas was overcooked with burnt cheese and rubber crust ends. I’ve always loved mountain Mikes but this location has seriously gone down hill, won’t be coming back!

Pizza was hard and burned. My first time ordering from this Mountain Mike’s. Won’t be calling them again well at least not for there pizza. The garlic bread was alright, I’ve had better.

Shocked.. . Just plain shocked. Walked in with my 7 year old son to enjoy some pizza. We decided to do the lunch buffet. First off they don’t have a kids price for the lunch buffet. Second while we were trying to enjoy our meal together all I could hear is the music the workers had on in the back. Rap music including the words pu**y, bi*ch, fu*k, and nigg* to name a few. Third a woman that was working came out to bring more pizza with a neck FULL of hickeys. I was mortified to be spending time with my son here, but unfortunately we had already paid and I didn’t have the money to waste by just walking out. Our lunch date should have been a sweet time together but instead we had a horrible time. I will never return but would advise the owner/​manager to find a new staff. There is plenty of people in salinas that are looking for work. It’s unfortunate that at this location all they employ is trash.

For about two decades Mountain Mikes was my favorite pizza. About 5 years ago they cheapened up ingredients and I stopped going there after several nasty pizzas.

If I can give zero stars for my review I would, I have been going to this pizza place for the past 12years, and have always enjoyed the pizza and the service but after my experience today I will no longer be going there, poor customer service, rude employees, and asked to speak to manager they took my number down and said he was out but would return shortly well it has been 2hrs 15min and no phone call!!, I ordered a pizza by phone arrived 30min later to pick it up still had to wait an additional 20min, then get home was given the wrong pizza, that’s when I called to speak to manager! The girl on phone tried to tell me «that Because we took the wrong pizza it totally messed up all there orders», wow! She was the one who handed over the pizza! I didn’t go behind the counter to take it. Just so sad that we never got a call back, got stuck with a pizza that we didn’t order, and had to go out to another pizzeria to get a pizza, what happened to «customer service» Shane on you for trying to blame the customer for your mistake!’ Oh and thanks for the call back.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Read the other reviews regarding service and only give this location if you like poor service, incompetent and rude employees, being overcharged, made to wait 2 – 3 times as long as you’re originally told an then served cold pizza. WTF???

I hate to give any business a bad review but if I can save someone from being in the same position as me, I will do it. So we stopped in Salinas on our way back to the central coast from San Francisco, our intentions were to grab a good quick bite, so we saw mountain Mikes, why not, a quick fresh pizza, be in and out in 30 mins right? So we arrived there were two families sitting eating their meals as we ordered ours, sweet no line/​no wait, I ordered a mini 6″ pizza and John ordered an oven baked sandwich, and for the wait we decided to share a salad which we made at their salad bar. The salad bar was ehhh, not great but not bad. So 25 mins rolls around and we are still waiting around for our small meals, and mind you this restaurant is freezing inside because the employees propped open the back door which immediately brings the cold breeze into the dining area (because the kitchen itself is blocked in by walls) so I’m sitting here uncomfortably cold waiting for my food. It wasn’t until maybe 35 minutes that I received my mini 6″ pizza, which was whatever, too greasy for my liking. The worse part was that as I saw my pizza coming out, I saw Johns sandwich BARELY going in the oven! So he had to wait another 10 – 15 minutes before he got his sandwich! Boooooo! We just don’t understand why it took so long, yeah they may have phone orders but they should still attend and focus on the customers in front of them! The service was really disappointing too, the young Brunette was too busy talking and taking pictures with her co workers at the register to focus on the orders. Very unprofessional, and then she had the nerve to tell her co workers that she should be in charge… Yikes of what running the business to the ground? When we asked her what was taking the sandwich so long she said well we have to put it through the oven… Um didn’t you have to put this pizza that I just ate 10 minutes ago through the oven as well? You’d think they come out at the same time at least, not 20 minutes apart. I was very disappointed in this location, hopefully management will get this message and take care of the problem.

We read all the reviews and were so excited to have pizza delivered to our hotel. Called and was placed on hold… Then disconnected THREE times!!! Called back and the person just picked up the phone and hung up!
Finally ordered pizza from somewhere else… But I called back to see if they would answer… The same person picked up the phone and put me on hold again for over four minutes!!! She came back to the phone and laughed when I told her what had happened (it was the same person who had been answering the phone) — poor customer service! We really wanted to try it — but didn’t want to find totem our money! :(
