What a bunch of idiots at this store. I asked several times if they had a jr western burger. The girl said yeah burger. I said no, a jr western burger. I was told yeah thats what you have. At the window i ask the man is it a western burger. Yes. I leave. go back to work and i got a stupid burger. Hire someone that speaks English that would help. I won’t be going back.

Very disappointed in the service. The general manager took my order and he was not helpful at all. Every time he spoke he mumbled his words and when I asked for him to repeat it, he gave me attitude. When I got my order I asked for ketchup and he only gave two packets. I asked for more and he gave me attitude again and asked how many do I exactly want. This is the closest one to my house, but I’m going to have to start going to one farther away.

Forget the price or messed up order or even service… It’s fast food… Not 3 Michelin Star. What I got was absolutely horrible. I took a bite on the«good» side and my friend told me there was something on the bottom I turned it around to discover mold! A LOTOFMOLD. Old bread that’s growing mold… I wouldn’t even know if the meat was old and rotten since it was cooked… I will post a picture in the tips section!!!

So I go through the drive thru and the girl audibly gives me attitude because I said and I quote«may I have a sec, please». Then I get up to the window and she’s so involved in her conversation about shoes with all the coworkers(including the manager) that she hands me a drink with the lid not secure. Of corse I grab it and it’s now all over my white skirt on my lunch break from work. Needless to say, I will not be returning. They have left out items from my order before and I’m over it.

I usually do not eat fast food but when I do I will almost always go to Carls jr. Well on this occasion I really wished I hadn’t! So like I said I usually do not eat fast food because I’m very health conscience especially what I eat but from time to time I get that I need a good cheeseburger and fast attitude. Well today just happened to be one of those days. So anyways I was out and about running errands today and I couldn’t help myself when I passed by my also dependable fastfood chain today also the company I work for is working with Carls jr. and we are giving out 5 $ gift cards that are purchased by my company with a blank area for us(meaning the management team at my company myself included) to write an explanation of why the employee is being rewarded. So I decided this would be a good time to invite one of my employees who had received one of these rewards to bring his giftcard/certificate to the establishment and we would have lunch and I would cover any difference in the bill. To my surprise when he showed up and after we ordered the extremely rude cashier informed us he would not take the giftcard which seems to be extremely odd to me since this giftcard says no where on it that it has to be at a participating restaurant! Which I will definitely have to inform the district manager not to purchase these cards any more because who knows who honors them and who doesn’t? Really Carl’s??? It’s a 5 $ giftcard not to mention the embarassment for myself and my employee. Anyways I covered the cost of the meals so we could continue our lunch as planned. Just when I had thought the worst part was over my employee had ordered an ice coffee and when we received it there where white cheese like clumps in the coffee so I proceeded to ask the C. J employee if this was powder or something?(because I drink a lot of coffee and never had white clumps before) He responded that this is the way their coffee is if I don’t want it he can refund the coffee. Wow I thought maybe it was just a powdered mix and maybe just needed to be mixed or shaken better but with that response I took the refund. Then the employee informed me that this was a franchise and they didn’t have to adhere to Carl’s Jr’s policies or procedures! «Well good to know I will definitely stay away from this franchise and tell everyone I meet to avoid it»! Mind you in the line of work I’m in I see/meet around 1,200 customers a day and am a very friendly and helpful manager so my word does carry far;) So let this be a warning to anyone before you consider this your lunch destination… Oh I almost forgot to tell you! «This is the best part«when I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was not one on site and no phone number for one but I was given a shady email address ending with a server that has not been heard of by google lol. Again I will warn anyone considering this establishment for a meal and to the management team of the establishment much much improvement is needed here I myself am a manager for a major business chain and you could go to anyone of our establishments and we would and will honor any legitimate giftcard with our name on it even if it was for a franchise jus t ok keep our customers happy especially when it’s over a measly 5 $ do the math I would have spent over 1000 times that amount in a lifetime at your restaurant!
Sincerely, Used to be a faithful customer

Nothing impressive, it’s your average Carl’s Jr. You get what you pay for. I ordered some Onion Rings and they were super fresh! I can’t complain.

I ordered the Charbroiled chicken sandwich and my sandwich did not look as enticing as the poster. It hurted my feelings(and pocket) for paying for much money for a sloppy and not so tasty sandwich. I coulda made a better looking and tasting sandwich than this one from home. Super disappointed with this locations Carl’s Jr. This location needs a new management and cooks. Don’t make me take this to BBB!

A little late night bite is always a bad idea but when in dire need of a good fast food nibble, this place is not bad. I recommend the bacon Swiss spicy chicken sandwich. It is pretty good and it comes all wrapped up like an in and out burger.

i have been here a few times, usually before work for bfast. I found it to be dirty, grungy and just does’t appear clean. I did a card to mgr in the store itself and the next time i went back, it was a bit cleaner. very nice staff, got my order right, just felt like i was eating in a dirty place

Just stopped in at Carl’s Jr. Very impressed. Biscuits were fresh. Had the loaded biscuit. Cheese was melted. Store was clean. Good way to start my morning.

Fat Mexican lady working in the back just took a couple zucchini out of someone’s carton and put with someone else’s just to fill both orders.. she did all of this with her fingers poking out of her torn plastic gloves. I almost puked. I was going to complain but I thought I might get more than a fingernail in my meal if I said anything. Good luck with this location Mr dm’s and gm’s. Then I asked for ranch and they ignored me. They don’t like white people here.

Ok, so it’s carls jr. The food was what I expected. My main complaint is that the shift leader had a piss poor attitude. It was like he was doing you a favor by serving you. Hey buddy, if you don’t like your job then go work someplace else! Anyway, I’ve been to many other locations where staff is really nice and appreciates your business. I’m not going be going back to this location.

My hubby got me this biscuit with egg and sausage, it was really filling and greasy. I prefer croissants, so I ate half and give the other half to hubby. It was the loaded omelet biscuit, I think if you don’t care about what you eat and you need to eat something cheap and fast, this would be the thing.

Came in the other day for the $ 5.00 Carl meal. It was pretty good. The service was fast and the bathroom was clean. I would come back here.

Yes, I know I got suckered in by another commercial, but someone had to review the new Grill Cod Fish sandwich and sweet potato fries at Carl’s Junior restaurants, and yes the women eating the new cod sandwich was stellar, but the grilled cod is what caught my eye. My first impression with the sandwich was that it was not much to look at.( ) Unfortunately, it did not resemble what I saw on commercial, but I should of knew that was not going to happen. The taste was okay. The fish was a lot thinner then what I expected.( ) It was cooked well, but I little on the dry side and a little over seasoned with pepper. The tarter sauce was mild, the bun was good, and lettuce and tomatoes fresh. Overall, I give the cod sandwich 2 stars. The sweet potato fries were very good. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised how good they were. They had an excellent crunchy exterior and well seasoned.( ) Their flavor was spot on and interior soft and moist. These sweet potato fries earned 4 stars. The service was good and using the law of averages, I am settling for 3 stars overall. The cod sandwich could be much better.

I was a fan of Carl’s Jr way back in the day with the introduction of the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, then a bigger fan when they had the 2 for $ 4 specials on that item. NOW, those made from scratch biscuits are too damn tasty to pass up and even more so when they are having the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese biscuit at the special price of 2 for $ 2. Damn you Carl Karcher and the fabulous taste of your new biscuits. If you want to eat something from Carl’s Jr without feeling the buyers remorse due an expanding waistline, then opt for any of the turkey burgers, but I really like the Jalapeño Turkey burger. That’s some good stuff right there

Since the food and the pricing here is consistent with any other Carl’s Jr., I won’t comment too much on that. if you’ve been to any Carl’s Jr., this place won’t be any different in those regards. This place is pretty clean, inside and out. They’ve done some remodels recently to freshen the place up, and they’ve done a good job. The staff here is generally pretty friendly, moreso than they used to be. The drive-thru has always been very fast and accurate. My only complaint is the parking situation… this place can be PACKED… it might take a little while to find a parking space, but I think it’s worth it.

There are many Carl’s Jrs in San Diego. The food is pretty much the same at all of them(except for the few that do not also have the Green Burrito menu). This location happens to be one that is often staffed by general managers in training — so the service here is not consistent and depends upon where in their training each member working on a shift may be at the time. Prices also sometimes seem to vary slightly from visit to visit for the same items — and receipts are often not provided. Don’t let that stop you from coming here if you are in the area, hungry, and like their menu. It’s not the cheapest fast food in town, but the quality seems better than many of their competitors. This location introduced me to the(low carb) lettuce wrap which I now often ask for if I order one of their(new turkey) burgers. This is the only Carl’s Jr location in town I am aware of which offers active duty military and veterans a small discount — if you ask for it before paying.

This place is clean, close to work, and fast. I stopped by this place occasionally for lunch because it is really close to my work. The service is always quick and the food always taste like it suppose to. The prices are decent and they don’t have an extensive dollar menu, but if you been to any Carl’s Jr you would know that. The staff here is friendly and they bring the food to you when you dine in. with a smile. What other fast food chain will bring your order to you when you dine in? This restaurant chain makes you feel like you are more than a customer when they deliver your meal to you. It is nice to see good customer service in a fast food restaurant, especially during a lunch rush. This place gets three stars because of fast and friendly service. I wouldn’t give it any more because every experience I’ve had with this restaurant chain has been the same. Nothing special, but this place handles the lunch rush really well.
