Alright, so a fellow Unilocaler with only 11 reviews who calls himself«Spartacus» ended up getting awfully offended by my previous review for this place, so I figured I’d have to… find a way to… make a review that’s…less offensive… I mean afterall, if somebody has the authority to tutor a Unilocal Elite with over 250 reviews, it’s gotta be from someone with only 11. That makes quite a bit of McSense… Basically, I don’t feel any different about this place since the previous review. As I’m writing this, I get the feeling I have an apology to make to somebody, but I have no idea who. So feel free to double-check my grammar and see if my reviews have been poorly written. I try to be as objective as possible. And my objectivity stands by my previous review for this McDonald’s. Just read my previous review as it stands, and that’s…pretty…much…it. See you at the next Unilocal Elite event, «Spartacus».

It’s McDonalds… It tastes exactly how a McDonalds would taste. It’s centered between the 5 freeway and 15. It’s convenient… They never give a good amount of serving on your cone. The only true hope is that your fries are done right! Not too salty, not stale and is freshly cooked. Here’s to hoping! The plus is that they have 2 drive thru lanes.

Very poor customer service. Showed up at 7:45ish and waited about 5 minutes to have someone take my order. She never apologized for the wait and was very rude… It was clear she didn’t want to stop what she was doing. Had to wait another 10 minutes to have 2 cheese burgers and fries«prepared». During my wait, a customer from the drive thru came in because part of the order was wrong. He was very nice and she made it clear that she didn’t want to correct the issue and kept making out to be his fault for not making his order more clear to them. He stood there quietly waiting and she wouldn’t shut up about how it was going to take several minutes for new fries and let him know it was interfering with her other work. Once I got my food(again, no sorry for the wait) I sat down to eat. Once the guys fries were finished, she was extremely rude with her«here» as she handed him the bag. Another guy came in while I was eating and stood at the counter for 5 minutes without anyone offering to help him… He finally walked out. It’s sad to see how many bad reviews this place has and McDonalds hasn’t replied to any of them with a sorry. Truly shows you how they don’t care about your experience and just want your money. Someone from the corporate office should secret shop this location for about a week to get an eye opener of how below standards this location performs. It’s sad that these employees treat people so poorly… The customers are the reason you have a job and not at fault for your personal problems or issues.

CHUN P’s EXPECTATIONSVERSUSREALITY Season 3, Episode 3 Alrighty! My 2nd encounter with the new McMozzarella sticks was a great success! They tasted just as good as any mozzarella stick you’d get at a restaurant, but far cheaper, and the sauce is zesty deliciousness! Also scored the«2 for 2» deal and got a McDouble and fries to round out my healthy, gluten-free, and vegan(sarcasm) lunch for only $ 2. Not the greatest lunch, but for $ 3 total, I can’t really complain.

Nothing but rude Mexicans that work here. They don’t hire any other race but their own which is not right.

Dont go here. I ordered my food. traveled to the first window. They forgot my order. Then I sat there what seemed like forever and she asked me again. Finally I paid. Went to the second window and they forgot that my meal came with a drink. they brought me the wrong drink twice. What the hell! Then through all of this they never said a word to me. Not even have a nice day. Just handed me my stuff never even looked at me. Rude and unprofessional.

Im not really a McDonalds or a fast food person in general but this place was fast the night I went through the drive-thru. Food was actually pretty good for being quick and easy I had one of the newer ¼ pounders but I was still hungry after eating it — seemed a bit smaller in size Not much else to report here traffic can be trouble some during the week because of its location among so many businesses right in central Miramar — the parking lot here is small so be prepared for that

The food here is tolerable, but this is my last choice for food on Miramar road. I’ve gone here a few times because the line for Taco Bell is way out the door. As I said, the food here is okay, but doesn’t make me want to come back. I gave three stars because the staff is always upbeat, which is rare for a fast food place.

Is it really too much to ask to have someone working the drive thru who can speak clear english? The Mira mesa location is just as bad, they stick the mexican ladies you can barely understand on drive thru duty in the early mornings. They should be in the back making the food. Fail.

I like this McDs better than the one on Mira Mesa Blvd. I came for a quick dessert run — FRAPPES! I utilized the drive thru since I was in a rush, and NOONEINLINE. WHOOHOOO! The employees were quick to take my order and it was a smooth process. 1st window — pay. 2nd window — pick up. The first window the dude could have been a little more personable. Jus saying’!

I’ve been sitting here for about 15 minutes and I am amazed by the cleanliness of this place. 5 stars for that. I had the spicy chicken wrap and it was fresh and taste great. At some McDonald’s its hard to get fresh fries or freshly made sandwiches. But the lady who is in charge is smiling and charming. Store #6348 is in good condition as long as Fabiola is here.

Fast but too fast. I don’t like food that’s been under a heat lamp for an hour. They put way too much ketchup or mayo on everything. If you order fries be prepared to ask for ketchup. Who the hell eats McDonalds fries without ketchup? Maybe it’s policy to save 1¢ per packet by not offering ketchup till they ask. Once while ordering at the drive thru with friends they were all laughing and the young fool(now a manager) said«hey it’s not funny c’mon order». We figured they’d spit in the food or whatever so we asked for a refund and wanted us to pull in the parking lot and wait forever. You ain’t hard lil fool. Heard him explaining how to make things to the cooks recently. How about training them in the first place for the new menu items.

Slowest, most unorganized fast-food joint. EVER. The employees at the Front of House looked so lost and confused at times. Ordered only a Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap and $ 1.00 Parfait. took. friggin. FOREVER.

Went through the drive-thru, she made us wait, no big deal. So we pull up and she has to go back over our entire order. No big deal just as we pull up. I started to get the«we don’t give a F#@k about our service» vibe and a strange tingle on the back of my neck. At this point I should have drove off. but no the thought of golden delicious Mcdonald’s fries kept me from busting a hard right over the median in my truck and flooring it away from this place. «what was the drink with the first one?» so we go back over the two drinks for the two meals. They say their out of the power aid so I have to settle for vitamin water. Not a big deal. We pay and get to the next window, wait. We get the food go home, didn’t check the bag. Even after the long ordeal of going back over our order, one meal was wrong, gave us some gross burger with mayonaise and mushrooms on it! Serious that was all that was on it, no cheese, nothing else. I dont even think Mcdonald’s makes a burger like this. The fries were not the delicious Mcdonald’s fries we were so looking forward too. They were COLDASHELL and tasted like they were a day old. I couldn’t eat the gross burger or the fries, my whole meal was not even edible. My girlfriend ate her burger and said it tasted like it had been in the warmer all day. This place just reminded me why I should never go to Mcdonald’s, no matter how nice you are to these Mcdonald’s employees, they still don’t get paid enough to give a f##k about what they are serving you. Lucky for them I will never go back to this location again, if I did I would probably ruin someone’s day just like mine was ruined with their crappy food and service.

We don’t eat pork and they wouldn’t substitute hash browns or eggs. We were purchasing 5 deluxe meals and they wouldn’t do it, ugh! Absolutely NO customer service here. I subscribed to Unilocal, specifically to write this review. Thanks Unilocal! My children report the eggs were nasty not one of them finished their food. They should have followed me out the door. Mom knows best & this mom says yuck to this place. To be fair the manager Carlos, apologized and did make the substitutions after all.

Being new to the country and always wanting to try new and exciting things. I decided to swing into the golden arches and give this American institution a try. I decided to order the #1. It is called a «Big Mac Combo». haha… I like the name of the burger. Big Mac. Funny. The lady said for only 39 cents more I could super size it. So I did. More is better, right? At least that is what I have been told. I have also heard that it isn’t the size of the pen but the author that writes with it. Which is a totally different subject matter and has nothing to do with the lunch I had at this McDonald’s. The burger tasted like it was under a heat lamp for a while or that it was cooked in a microwave. I was not a fan. I think next time I will try their«Quarter Pounder». haha… It is a burger patty that weighs a quarter of a pound. Ingenious naming. The fries were good. The shake didn’t taste like it was made with real ice cream tho. *sad face! Bathrooms were really clean and service was gracious for my business. All in all, I would say«Meh.» **On a side note: I didn’t see the Ronald McDonald clown guy which I was thankful for. I am not a fan of clowns. You ever hear about that American, John Wayne Gacy? Yeah. Clowns are not cool.

This review is for the Chicken McNugget deal: 50 Nuggets for $ 10 and 20 Nuggets for $ 5 Is this the only McDonald’s participating in this? Haven’t dined inside. We went to the drive-thru. It’s kind of weird. There are two lanes then they merge into one lane. Almost got scared they’d confuse our order for someone elses. Fries were kinda too salty tho. Their drive-thru window… is more like a drive-thru door. have no idea what to think about that

First of all, this McDonald’s has a really weird way of accessing it from Miramar Rd. I was going eastbound and had to make a left hand turn into this shopping and business plaza and then make a right turn to get to the parking lot surrounding the McDonald’s. I had the idea that I had some free time so I thought I would finally try the Shamrock Shake that the place had been offering for a couple of weeks. Whew, no mas! For one thing, I almost got run over by a giant semi that was making a left turn into the little throughway that I accessed from Miramar Road. Then I ordered the small size Shamrock Shake and while it cost me a little over $ 2, that wasn’t the thing I thought was odd. In order to complete the shake, the can of whipped cream had to be taken from the outside container and placed inside their little mini-fridge for a little bit before the cream was placed on top of the shake. I didn’t know what to expect when tasting the shake given that it was the first time I ever had it. I’m not ordering it ever again. This specialty shake takes its place alongside another specialty abomination that McDonald’s makes that I will never order again: The McRib. The shake tasted more creamy(from the whipped cream that took maybe two minutes to completely melt into the minty stuff) than minty. And it left a strange after-taste. And it caused a bad stomach ache on my part. It was just… bad. I was glad I ordered the small size, though it should be noted that I took two whole days before I could finish the thing. Should also be noted that everything I said here besides the creamy/minty taste and the fact that it took two days to finish applies to the McRib. I should’ve ordered a boba tea instead. I remember eating here a very long time ago and not really feeling like it was outstanding service or food either. I would’ve been better served to go to one of the McDonald’s on Mira Mesa Blvd. instead.

This place has really gone downhill. You can generally expect a certain level of quality at McDonalds, but this McDonalds is far, far below that. When we ate here, the food was terrible(no one could finish their food) and seemed old. I had the Southern McChicken and my wife had the two-cheeseburger meal. Furthermore, as you can see from the pictures, they’re apparently undergoing some construction or remodeling now. This just adds to the dingy, unkempt feel that is this McDonalds. Don’t dine here. Head to Mira Mesa Blvd for much better options or visit the other restaurants in this area.

50 Nuggets for $ 10 20 Nuggets for $ 5 The Mira Mesa Blvd McDonald’s doesn’t have this deal! I believe the Sorrento Valley one has at least the 20 Nuggets for $ 5 deal, though. I wonder how long this will be going on for. Forever, I hope! I took away a star because she forgot the grilled chicken for my salad. Womp womp.
