Lunch time! And, I am in the area. I did not pack a lunch for my excursion, so I have to buy lunch. Luckily for me, $ 2.99 plus tax for 2 slices of pizza and a soda. I don’t drink soda, so I asked for bottle of water. The lady at the counter said no problem. Happy me! I asked about the type of pizza I could choose from, and she said there was only pepperoni available. Not a problem for me, although I wish there would have been more choices. She heated up the 2 slices in the oven which took about 5 minutes. As I walked outside with my box of 2 slices and a bottle of water. I noticed there were tables all around. In the sunny sun, or shaded area. Please see pics. Overall, I had a positive experience enough for 4 stars. The taste of the pizzas, and the service was good. The lady at the counter was pleasant and friendly. The kitchen, from what I could see was very clean. That definitely receives 5 stars in my book. I like the fact that there was outside seating… even though they do not provide a restroom to their patrons.(I had to use the laundry mats) Thank you. I’ll be back.

Our pizza was excellent. Cooked well, generous toppings, not super greasy, not über saucy and tasted great! Breadsticks were also really good and well seasoned, not too garlic-y like some pizza places. We ordered and picked up the pizza in 10 minutes & food was still hot by the time we got home. It’s not gourmet pizza but I would say it tasted a little better than Mr. Gatti’s/little ceasers.

$ 5 for a pizza that’s great! Taste good. Way better than little ceasers. They have a $ 3 lunch special 2 slices and a can of soda. I always come here now it takes about 10 minutes to make so I suggest you call. Your oder then drive there.

Although the food is good and you can’t beat the price, the service my boyfriend and I received was horrible. I called ahead and ordered the Blockbuster Deal. I asked for a pepperoni pizza, and ranch for the bread sticks. The guy on the phone told me it would be $ 9 something, asked for my name, and hung up. When my boyfriend went to pick up the pizza, no one had written my order down anywhere and they had only cooked the pizza. They then told my boyfriend he was lying, that I never ordered the Blockbuster Deal. No apology, just that my boyfriend is a liar. Seriously rude. Good food doesn’t make up for horrible customer service.

Really great pizza… And only $ 5 can’t beat that. I normally don’t eat cheap pizza but this pizza is Sooo good. Better then any chain. Staff is really friendly and nice. Cute place to chill and grab a slice. Outdoor seating. central location.

I was starving after working a typical 12 hour day in a car biz. I deserved a delicious pizza after selling a car. Wow best pizza! Support a local business a Mom and Pop biz

I have stuck with the pepperoni pizza… easy to make and hard to mess up. For a 5 dollar large, you can’t beat it. It isn’t the best pizza I have had, but it isn’t the worse. When I don’t feel up to cooking, it is very easy to put in a call and go pick it up in 10 mins!

I came in to order a large cheese pizza and and an order of cheese sticks. When the pizza was finished he seemed shocked that I didn’t receive the cheese sticks. Server goes«oh my bad, it’s gonna be 4 minutes»(which took an additional 10 minutes)

Came here because I had a local flavor deal for this place. The lady who took my order was very bothered I had a deal. If you don’t like accepting the deals you shouldn’t offer them. The prices are very good even without a deal. The pizza is good if you don’t expect much. I loved the cheap breadsticks. Remember you are getting what you pay for. I would definitely revisit but I wish the service was better.

GROSS!!! I literally just bought this pizza. Not just saying that from the long, thick black hair literally baked into my slice of cheese pizza,(see picture) every person in the group that ate this pizza thought it was disgusting. The breadsticks were flaking off if you tried to peel one, the marinara had no flavor, and the wings were LITERALLY the grossest wings I’ve ever had. Gross gross gross. Never going back. Beware!

My wife likes K Sandwiches and I don’t much care for it, but we went there anyway. I looked over and noticed the $ 5 pizza special. I figured I’d give it a try. Came away pleasantly surprised. Think a better version of Little Ceasars, but you’re supporting a local business. This ticked all the marks for what I was looking for.

When I rate a restaurant, I am usually comparing value to taste. What you get here at Mesa Pizza is fast, tasty, and very affordable. This is not a super fancy place, but they are clean, friendly, and provide the wonderful service of a damn fine pizza for $ 5. Other chains offer the $ 5 pizza, but Mesa beats them in taste, size, and quality within that $ 5 window. Go grab a pizza!

Pretty much, you get what you pay for. I got the $ 5 large pizza, 1 topping deal with mushrooms and the breadsticks. It was decent enough, but kind of bland when it came to the breadsticks and the bread part of the pizza. Decent size pizza for $ 5. The customer service… –_– 1) I felt rushed and it seemed like the lady didn’t want to be there. 2 she was rude and unfriendly 3) ITWASEMPTY, there’s no line so why are you rushing and being all mopey and sad for. Costco’s $ 10 and the Little Caesars $ 5 pizza are so much better. But if you want a cheap fix and are in the area, this place will satisfy your taste buds… I guess.

Mesa Pizza gets the job done. The shop was clean and the cashier was courteous. I ordered a $ 5 large cheese pizza to go on a Saturday night and it was made quickly. Little did my friends know they were chowing down on pizza that cost the same as a couple of tacos. Zero complaints. Was my mind blown by the flavor? Of course not. But it tasted just as good as a pizza that would have cost twice as much or more from somewhere else. Not sure I will ever try anything else on their menu but I will be coming back for all my pizza needs. Great value.

I was a little skeptical about trying Mesa pizza because I’m a believer that you get what you pay for. I researched them and found that they have deals that seem too good to be true. Don’t get me wrong, I love when I find a great deal, but when the prices are as cheap as Mesa’s on a regular basis, I begin to question the quality of the food. I decided to give them a chance anyway since I needed to feed 4 people on a budget. First Impressions: *The place is tiny(few chairs to sit in while waiting for your food and no public bathroom) *The kitchen appears new and clean *The workers are polite and quick to greet/serve I didn’t order ahead of time because I didn’t think you could(but you can). They were kind enough to give me an advertisement with all of their deals and phone number. The cashiers told me I could call ahead next time so I wouldn’t have to wait. This was comical to me because the wait for two large, one topping pizzas(pepperoni and sausage) was 8 minutes, where most pizza places make you wait 15 – 20 minutes for one pizza. Sure enough, 8 minutes later, my pizzas were ready. Needless to say, I was impressed. The pizza tasted good, not to mention I only paid about $ 10 total for both pizzas. That’s right. Each pizza was $ 5 each(not including tax). Earlier that day, I had searched online for coupons and looked through my Entertainment book that offers buy one get one pizzas at certain restaurants and I still couldn’t find deal better than this one. There was enough pizza for everyone to enjoy, plus pizza leftover for the next day. I would certainly come here in the future if I had to feed a large group of people. Sure, it’s not gourmet pizza, but good enough!

Here are some of the great deals Mesa Pizza has on their menu as of July 12th2014: * 8 Hot Wings for $ 5.99 * 16 Garlic Bread Pieces for $ 1.99 * 1 Large 1 Topping Pizza for $ 5 * 1 Large 1 Topping Pizza, 16 Garlic Bread Pieces with sauce, 12 Liter of Soda for $ 8.49 * 2 Large 1 Topping Pizza, 16 Garlic Bread Pieces with sauce, 12 Liter of Soda for $ 12.99 * 1 Large 5 Topping Pizza for $ 8.99 This is only a few of the great deals on the menu. For the rest, please refer to the pictures I posted. We chose the last deal listed and decided to order pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and black olives on our pizza. Mesa Pizza reminded me of a mom and pop version of Little Caesar’s. This takeout only pizza joint is located in an incredibly busy strip mall off of Linda Vista Rd and Mesa College Drive. So busy that parking here is a complete nightmare. I would not be surprised if there is not at least one accident per day in this parking lot. Anyways, I regressed a little so let’s get back to the pizza. Here’s what we liked about Mesa Pizza besides the price: * The lady at the counter told us it would take 8 minutes for our order to be ready and sure enough it was ready right at that time. * The toppings were really fresh and they were generous with the amount of toppings. * The crust had medium thickness and was slightly coated with butter. Not the best crust, but we thought it was better than the average pizza joint. The pizza had very little marinara sauce, but the sauce we did taste seemed to have the perfect amount of sweetness and richness to it. I just wished they used more on the pizza. We enjoyed Mesa Pizza and would come back and order another pizza in heartbeat if we were in the area. However, I do not think we would drive out of our way to come here. With that said, I think Mesa Pizza is slightly better than the A-OK! rating because it is better than the average takeout pizza joint and offers some great deals, especially for families. Rating: 3.25 stars

Definitely a new fan! I had a group of teenagers to feed and it was my treat. I took a chance on this new place and was NOT disappointed. Also, the location is perfectly located near the schools, colleges, and nearby businesses making this place hard to pass up. It is located in the same plaza as K Sandwiches. The place is a very straightforward, no frills pizza place. Carryout only. All Large pizzas. No small or mediums. The standard menu being $ 5 for 1 topping pizza, $ 8.99 for a 5 topping build your own pizza, $ 1.99 breadsticks with marinara sauce, you get the idea. No crazy, fancy concoctions unless they’re advertising one or you request it. There are coupons for hard to pass up deals. I chose their special of 3/$ 152 topping Large pizzas. The rest I purchased a la carte. Their 2 liter sodas are $ 2.25 when not a part of a deal. For $ 40.47, I purchased a total of 5 Large pizzas(3 – 2 toppings, 1 – 1 topping, &1 – 5 toppings), 2 – 2 liter sodas, and 2 order of breadsticks with marinara sauce. Definitely a great deal for the amount I purchased. For a budget friendly pizza place, I am impressed not only with the price but with the fast turnaround service and the taste. For the 5 pizzas purchased, I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. The ingredients are fresh, the taste standard of what I expect from any pizza place, and I definitely recommend the 5 topping build your own pizza. The«Supreme» pizza ingredients I chose to have on my pizza rivals the taste of Pizza Hut and Dominos. That’s my opinion. For the price, service, turnaround time, and taste, I will definitely come back again and most especially, when I have to feed a large group of people. Oh, and a useful FYI for customers. When I called to ask if they had an online website and said«No», they did mention they have a Facebook page. I found it useful and here is the site address:
