One of the better sushi restaurants in Hayward and San Leandro area. I’ve been here since the grand opening and have not had any negative experience that’s out of the ordinary. The food and prices is what makes us keep coming back for more. Plus they deliver to Hayward! I would definitely recommended this place to anyone in the area and looking for some better than average sushi that always keep adding more items to the menu every time I come back.

I will definitely be coming back here to try their other rolls. I came here late night right before they were closing, and thankfully, they decided to serve food to us, but the downside was that they couldn’t serve us any of the oyster items, which I really wanted to try since I’ve heard such good things about their $ 5 oysters. From the rolls that I did try, the golden state and sex in the city rolls were really good, though out of the two, I liked the golden state roll the best. I’m a sucker for raw tuna so anything tuna, I’m a fan of, unless it’s something I can’t eat, like spicy tuna. I made the mistake of ordering the stir fry edamame. They used sriracha in it, and I can’t eat that, so I had to give up that item and let everyone else eat it. Overall, really good sushi rolls, good size pieces, and fresh ingredients. I’ll definitely come back to try their other items.

Awesome place. I moved back to the area recently and my best friend told me about this place. Very nice staff, and whether I am eating there(sometimes by myself) or getting to go, it’s quick!

I love Angry Fish and eat here in person when I can but order out as well. Even though the eat24 app says they are out of delivery range they have no problem bringing my order over to Hayward in a timely manner. The place itself is small but somehow they manage to find seating quickly(probably by not having a sports screen up, ty AF) I love their Dragon Rolls but everything is good and the staff is super nice. — 5 stars from this guy!

Definitely more of a small casual«grab some quick sushi with friends without the pretentious ambiance» kind of place. I went there with my gf and two of her friends. We ordered a pitcher of beer and I stuffed myself with too much sushi to the point of where there was one piece left and I didn’t want to eat it(even though it was good). I ordered the Snow White and Victoria Secret and another one I can’t remember. They were pretty good but large in size. I struggled deciding between putting the whole piece in my mouth and biting the roll and allowing it to fall apart. I went for the former. The service was decent but spotty at times(–1 star). I’m sure had they come around a little more we would have ordered another pitcher. Overall, I’d go back.

Had a Friday night dinner with two friends(L.J. B. and Hazel A.) and my bf(Elliott J.) last weekend. The place is quite small, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. We ordered a pitcher of Saporo and easily polished it off between the four of us. Of course Elliott J. and L.J. B. had more of the beer, because they drank each time Hazel A. or I said«OHMYGOD,» and Hazel A. was telling a really good story, so there were a lot of «OHMYGOD’s.» Between us four, we ordered a bevy of sushi, all very unique and good in their own right. I really enjoyed my hamachi-filled roll(I think it was called Snow White or Victoria Secret). The only quibbles I have with their rolls are that it’s so hard to fit each piece in my mouth, and some of the rolls were way too saucy. What would take this place to the next level? Well, more than one bathroom would. I drank a lot of beer and water and had to piss about 3.5 million times, and there was only one bathroom. At least it was relatively clean. It’s a small restaurant, but I see that it could be a fun place for a sake bomb happy hour. There’s one tv in the corner, which had the Eastern Conference Finals on, and since the Bay Area is getting sports fever, they can definitely update their A/V capabilities so that patrons would stay longer and get drunk while enjoying the games on tv. Although, it did seem like a family friendly spot, so maybe they don’t want to go down that route.

I know the Warriors game was on but we’ve been waiting for 2 ½ hours for our order to be delivered. Not cool! I tip like a crazy woman and usually get great service, but it’s almost bed time for my kid and this is ridiculous!

Waiting 2 ½ hours, and counting for my order. This place has the most inconsistent delivery times, some say 25 minutes others say an hour. I get it, the Warriors are playing, a heads up of extensive wait time would be sufficient. 60 to 85 minutes wait time was shown, … not 150 minutes… and counting. Update: order arrived, driver apologized a couple times, food was lukewarm but, not soggy. I don’t mind, back up to 4 stars because I get it, it gets busy, he seemed sincere with his apology. Food tastes great. Just need a better estimation of delivery time

Heard a lot about this place from family and friends who live around the area, so I wanted to give this place a try. First impression… Food was sub-par and lack of communication in the kitchen. If it wasn’t for our waiter, we wouldn’t give this place another try. It literally took 2 hours for our food to come out! For a Hawaiian Poki Salad, Strawberry Passion Roll(which I highly don’t recommend ~ the Mango Sauce tasted funny), Taste the Rainbow Roll and a Curry Katsu. 2 hours for 4 items! Seriously! We literally watched Dine-in and To-Go parties who have came in after us be served and leave. Tired and upset we were so close to getting up and leaving; but because our waiter reassured us with on the house appetizers, dessert and half-off our bill, we stayed. Many thanks to the gentleman who served us that night, regardless of the kitchen’s mishap.

I’m absolutely smitten by their customer service. I live in San Jose and I usually have to door dash because I’m lazy AF. My boyfriend lives in San Lorenzo and when he told me he gets sushi delivered and he didn’t know what door dash was, I was like whaaaaaaaaa. Absolutely love the food! Thank you Anthony for the awesome service!!!

It’s pretty cool that you can get sushi delivered to your home. But it’s not cool when the sushi taste not up to par. When i ordered from here everyone was raving about this place saying it may be the best sushi place in the area. But I didn’t feel that way, I ordered a whole bunch of different rolls and I have to say they were nothing special. We actually ate in the restaurant a few times and was quite disappointed(even tho we had a groupon deal both times). I even tried the house special oyster(oyster, uni and quail egg) and honestly after one we were afraid to finish the rest. The oysters did not seem fresh. If it wasn’t for the fact that they delivered I would of given them a 2 star.

YESSSSS !! EVERYTHINGWASSOOOOGOOD ! It is the type of place you’ll keep eating no matter how full you are because it is so good. The service is great. The gentleman who served us was very sweet on(4÷21÷2016) he also recommended what we should get, and it was great of course! For dessert, I ordered the fried banana with ice cream and the girl waitress offered both green tea & mango ice cream. SOLD! Definitely coming back & also they have TV’s so you can always watch any game that is playing while enjoying your great dinner.

Dont judge by the stars. This place was good. We saw that the overall rating was only 3.5 stars but we decided to try it anyway. It was clean, the staff was nice, and efficient. The food was really good. The rolls were fresh and delicious. We will go back again!

Here is another good sushi joint to add to your list if you are in the area. My bf and I go to this spot from time to time as they are pretty decent and they have awesome service. Their prices for their sushi is cheap and they have a great selection. It is a small restaurant but doesn’t get super busy, we’ve never had to wait, although I don’t think we’ve ever dined in during a weekend. The only thing I have a problem with here is that they pack on so much rice in their rolls. I end up taking chunks of rice off of my sushi roll. Our server even noticed the mountain of rice that I had on my plate and fortunately, you can always ask the sushi chef, ‘easy on the rice,’

Worst delivery I’ve ever had, didn’t even get all of the food we should have gotten. I ordered the dinner chicken teriyaki tempura and rice. We did not even get our tempura and my salad looked like someone are it already. My chicken had no teriyaki sauce and everything was cold. My sushi itself tasted like«gross» my husband hated it and he eats everything. We had the lion king. Thumbs down. I’m going to try to give this place another try one day. I believe you have to give people places or things a second chance. Mistakes are made to happen, so you can learn. But my review was to just warn you services just wasn’t that good.

We ordered some rolls with salmon in it and the salmon didn’t look all that fresh. The color had a fade brownish. The rolls tasted ok, I don’t get the hype with this place. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? We also ordered karaage an it was disappointing; it was small portioned, dry, and full of doughy taste. The hello kitty soy sauce was cute tho.

I was with a large group on a Saturday evening looking for a Japanese restaurant that could accommodate all 19 of us. My friend called this place and they said they could reserve one side of the restaurant for us(the place apparently isn’t that big). We showed up 15 minutes later and they had set up a long table for us with a separate smaller table nearby, which was fine by us. What stood out to me about this place was the friendliness of our waiter. I don’t know his name, but he served us with a smile, and warmly took our orders on 3 separate checks right from the get-go. Most places I feel like would either outright refuse, or do so semi-begrudgingly at best. The food wasn’t anything exceptional, but definitely sufficiently good. They also have a pretty nice variety of sushi, rolls, appetizers, and bento boxes so even if raw fish isn’t your thing, there’s still a lot you can eat here. I had the salmon teriyaki and chicken karaage dinner combo which also came with rice, miso soup, and small side salad. We also ordered agedashi tofu and there were like 7 – 8 pieces in that thing(usually there’s like 4 at other Japanese places)! Would be happy to come here again, and nice that it can accommodate pretty large groups without making us feel like we were a hassle.

I came here with a large group of 7 on a Monday and we were seated in a private room with a TV. On Mondays they have $ 1 oysters and my group ordered several dozens to share. We also tried a bunch of different rolls. I forgot all the name of the rolls that we ordered but I remember my favorite! It’s the Sunshine Roll! It was also recommended by the servers. The servers are TWINS!!! The twins were very sweet and tentative throughout our meal. The group also got a huge sushi boat with uni for $ 80. It was very tasty tasting. They only have ONE unisex toilet and that was annoying because people had to basically wait in line to go to the restroom. I’ll definitely come here again with a large group.
