They’ re touchin dirty money and don’t wash their hands when preparing food.

I ordered chili fries and the portions were small. It wasn’t worth the money, I will never go back.

Im from San Leandro and it just seems the burgers are not what they use to be. It is okay! I actually prefer Five Guys and Habit Burgers… :(

Where I end up after a long night of drinking. Sam’s is the next best place to go to when In n Out is closed and you’ve got the munchies. They have the same(but better) burgers, hot dogs, and cheese fries as Giant burger, but minus the late night creepers. Sam’s is open til 2:30am on be weekdays, and 4am on the weekends.

I really like this place. I go often. I usually bring my dog and they always give me a free hot dog for him. Sometimes the wait is long but this is because they make the burgers fresh. The burgers are tasty but wish they had a larger order for fries. I’m curious how there breakfast tastes and will try it soon.

Another staple here in the east bay. Burgers and fries also milkshakes are good. The only thing about this place is, it takes forever to get your food. I understand that its fresh, they have to make it, but 10 –15 minute wait is long for a fast food. Again burgers and fries. 3 stars.

Only been here once. I just remember getting a really huge burger with chili fries & bacon. definitely one of the best drunk meals I’ve had. Not sure if I could handle all the grease sober though

First things first: I love Sam’s Drive-thru Burgers! They make best, juciest burgers in San Leandro! If I ever had 1 complaint, it’s that a whole slice of onion can sometimes be overwhelming. But I never complained about it being so sloppily juicy that I couldn’t put it down once I started eating it because it would fall apart into a pile of deliciousness. So if that’s the case, what the hell went wrong tonight?! Tuesday is my only night I like to get a burger. Sometimes, I’m lucky enough I make it to Sam’s. But tonight was even more special than most Tuesdays. As October was National Vegetarian Awareness Month, I ate no meat the entire month! So, this was to be my 1st burger in over a month, and I was so looking forward to it. But something went terribly wrong tonight, & I was served one of the worst hamburgers of my entire life! I’m still not sure it was hamburger I was served. It could of been cardboard made to look like hamburger. It was the driest, thin piece of meat I’d ever seen in a hamburger, outside of finding an old Jumbo Jack under your couch cushions & being unable to remember the last time you’d been to a Jack in the Box. Now, it might have been slightly saved if my 1 instruction, to be sure it had both ketchup and mustard on the burger, had been carried out. This is very important because I just moved & have no condiments at home. I started being sure it had both because they were too messy to open & add the ketchup & mustard afterwards. So when I was handed the burger, I specifically asked if he had put ketchup & mustard on it like I ordered. He said yes & started to hand me some packets too. I politely refused & said I wouldn’t need them as long as it was already on it. Well guess what?! When I got home & took out the burger, and opened the bun, it had no ketchup or mustard! The next thing I noticed was the thinner than usual piece of «meat”(still not positive it was meat, or possible animal origin it could of been), & the lack of juices leaking through the wrapper. I even ate a piece of the«meat» on its own. It lacked any flavor & all moisture! This was definitely some kind of mystery meat I had never seen or tasted from a Sam’s Drive-thru Burgers. I can only hope this was some fluke or I was accidentally served a turkey burger, or something. Because if I come back again, & this is their new hamburger patty, I’ll never go back again for a hamburger! Specially when I got Nation’s, in the downtown plaza, less then a block from my home.

The price is a little much, but for it’s quality in a basic burger well worth the $ 5 menu is very basic but fries are fresh and burgers were very juicy. The chocolate milk shake was probably the thickest shake I have had in a while.

I’ve been here a couple of times. It’s a small little drive thru. But they also have a couple of benches and chairs so you can sit and eat near by. The first time I came here I tried the taco it was pretty good but greasy. Then the next time I came here I got the chicken sandwich. It was pretty good but not special. I don’t think I’ll come back here though. Service is good but the food is just alright.

Bad: The older woman taking our order was impatient and was very short with us. We weren’t even fine order before she turned off the speaker. I got to the window to tell her that I didn’t want onions on the burger and she stared at me like I did something wrong and then closed the window to tell the guy that was making my burger to take the onions off. Maybe he was confused, so I saw her reach over and take them off with her unwashed bare hands. She handles money so she shouldn’t be touching food without gloves. Rude and unsanitary. Good: One older gentleman that was stocking food was very polite. I couldn’t tell if he was an employee or manager.

Not a bad joint… just an average drive through burger joint. Shakes were pretty good.

Greasy, gross, not worth it. We ordered burger, fries, corndog and hot dog. Nothing was good. Actually just took a bite and threw the food away. $ 25 bucks in the garbage. But better that then forcing to eat it. Ended up driving through in and out. 7⁄11 has better hot dogs and corn dogs!

Four stars? Really? This place has horrendous service and overpriced«fast» food. It’s a stall with two drive thru lanes on either side of it. The space provided can only handle about four cars in each lane at a time too. The sad thing is they can’t even handle having four cars lined up because it takes them close to 15 minutes to fill each order. When you finally get close enough to a speaker so you can order, one of the guys inside the stall will ask you what you want. It’s loud enough that anyone within a block can probably hear it and I feel bad for the neighbors who have to deal with it. The other annoying thing is that since there’s a single stall with two lanes going around it, people in the left lane interact with the stall through the passenger window. When my food was finally ready, I had my window slightly cracked open. The guy bringing the food out didn’t say anything, and instead tried shoving my food through my window as I began opening it up. At least wait for a hand first instead of trying to dump it on my passenger seat. The end result… food that is only average. And I wasn’t kidding about taking 15 minutes to fill each order. Prepare to wait a long time. Not even Nations takes that long to make a burger. As for chili cheese fries, I remember those food stands back in college could give you a gigantic box of those in about ten seconds. It baffles me that it takes them several minutes to provide you even less than that. I can only imagine this place being good if you were drunk or high late at night, in which case some police officers should wait around here and pick off all the inebriated drivers one by one. Do yourself a favor and just go to Jack-in-the-Box. At least they give you a good price and are open 24 hours.

Absolutely disgusting! I found a hair inside the wrapper on my burger. I literally threw up because the hair was with the damn burger! Unacceptable!

Instant regret! The girl that took my order was really nice, that’s why I’m giving two stars. The food on the other hand was just horrible. It’s not that it was cooked horribly, but that I could tell it was all cheap product and the burger really didn’t have any flavor. The cheese fries gave me serious heartburn and indigestion. I think I’ll stick to the habit.

My friends and I were hungry after a Warrior game so we decided to come here. There were a few people ahead of us but it didn’t take too long to order our food. The workers were also nice which is always a plus for me. The prices aren’t too bad either. There are a few tables placed outside in case you want to eat close by too. The food is pretty standard of most late night fast food places. They serve cheeseburgers, tacos, chili cheese fries, milkshakes, etc. The food is cooked in front of you which is good to see. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was pretty good. The patty was meaty and juicy which I thought was delicious. The chili cheese fries were also tasty. There was a good amount of chili and cheese which I liked. However, there wasn’t enough fries which was a bummer. The fries were also cut like steak fries instead of the thin cut variety. The chocolate milkshake was also not too overly sweet. However, it was too thick and I couldn’t drink it through my straw and had to open up the cup to drink it. My only complaint is that they couldn’t get me a spoon for my milkshake. They gave me a fork which was frustrating but it did the job. Also, they only accept debit cards or cash and I didn’t see any bathrooms close by if you need them. If you’re looking for great late night fast food, you should give this place a try. I was satisfied with the taste of my food and the price was pretty affordable. This spot is open really late as well which makes this a great place to eat if you’re around the area. I will be back soon!

The choices are great given how late they open but they’re really just grease on a wrapper. Got the fried taco and the cheese fries. The oil soaked through the wrapper before we even managed to unwrap them(we ate in their parking lot). I wish there was more cheese on the fries. Average, normal, greasy late night fare. Nothing special, nothing bad though. If I really needed a fix and was here late night, sure why not? But otherwise, I’m thinking a fast food joint might’ve been more satiating. Service? I though the guy helping me was super nice! Friendly and happily accepting at 1AM in the morning!

One of my fave late night spots !! The place looks a little sketchy on the outside but its truly good food! I mean, hits the spot and gets the job done. The service is usually pretty quick because they always have plenty of people on shift. Kudos to them for being crammed in that little hut all night =) Thanks guys for staying open late, I’m always looking for a place close to home to grab a late dinner! IMy favorite is the fish sandwich. its always so fresh and juicy!(SO much better than Mc Donalds!) I’ll definitely be back for more!
