Awesome everytime! This place is the best sushi and martinis in town. The food is always prepared fast and consistently excellent. Yet to have ever a hit of a bad experience. A lot of establishments in Savannah should take note, cause this place figured it out!

Great Place for sushi and asian food. My boyfriend and i recently relocated from the west coast/hawaiian islands so we are huge fans of sushi and asian food. This is by far the best sushi i’ve had in Savannah. Big portions and great taste! Take it from us, as we used to eat sushi at least once a week. The service was fantastic as well. It can be a little pricey but totally worth it!

Can’t go wrong with the salmon roll. Customer service is always amazing. Thai tea a bit on the sweet side, but beautifully crafted. To go orders are always ready on time.

Interesting Asian fusion place in south Savannah. We went using a groupon. Décor feels like the set of a CBSTV show — you know you’re in some indiscriminate restaurant, but can’t tell what they make at all. We ordered the tempura, fried rice, pot stickers and some sushi rolls. The menu wasn’t very vegetarian friendly, but the wait staff helped us modify a few of the items. The food was all pretty good — be warned that the sushi rolls are huge with 11 – 12 pieces per roll — we over ordered. In general it was a good experience, but quite expensive(still $ 50 after a $ 30 groupon without any alcohol). It wasn’t the hipest place in town and I don’t think we’d be back except for take out sushi.

I had the Mexican roll and it was mediocre. Not spicy enough and overdone with different sauces. Also had the fried spring rolls and they weren’t great either.

High quality sushi taste & probably the only cute cocktail atmosphere, and dare I say, cute date atmosphere in this part of south side of Savannah. The staff always have great smiles and answers to your questions about the fare & such. You need to go here if you live in Savannah and haven’t been.

Very good. From service to food, just awesome. Only problem was a long wait time in a seemingly empty restaurant. But worth the wait. Great lunch time prices too. Leaving happy and full!

Nicest restaurant on the south side. Everything is good here. I’ve had great curry, sushi, and fish entrees. If you want a higher end dining experience. On the south side, this is the place to go.

We have been here twice now. Once for a birthday party with a larger group, and then for a date. Both times we ordered the sushi platter which had a California roll, salmon roll, and spicy tuna roll. It comes with a soup and salad as well. You really get a lot of food for the money, and it’s delicious. The atmosphere here is great. It’s a little strange as far as location because it’s at the very end of the little random strip. We probably wouldn’t have made it out here unless we were invited but now that we know about it I think we would recommend it. Also, it was well worth it because we had a Groupon. So if you find yourself southside and want some sushi come to tangerine. I really want to try their soups so I might be back. I have a serious weakness for lemongrass or coconut soup. Also the salad with ginger dressing!

Great place for a date. The sushi and fusion are artfully prepared and have great flavors. I do think, however the flavors on some of the fusion dishes are over done. Overall great place and nicest place on the South side

I ordered sake, Kobe(beef) and saba nigiri as well as a Spider roll. The good news first. The presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was very nice. The Kobe by itself would have been excellent… more on that later. The sake wasn’t bad, but wasn’t as fresh as i would’ve liked. The saba was ok. What brings this review from what would have been 3 stars to 2 is the rice. Rice can make or break nigiri and rolls. The rice was overcooked and under seasoned. When the young chef asked me how everything was, I did not have the heart to tell him(maybe i should’ve). From the presentation, he was clearly talented. However, he needs to learn to make rice or at least be able to tell if it is good or bad.

Wonderful sushi but mediocre entrees. The crème brûlée is rich and perfectly sweet. I just feel the entrees were overpriced was not the most well thought out dishes. My red snapper that I order was literally just a plain fish sitting on top of some vegetables and some sauce was squeezed on top. Not flavorful at all. However, awesome place for sushi!

This suave sushi spot is a hidden gem. The feel in this place is chill, and just right on the fancy scale. Would make for a great date spot. I got the Phili Roll with avocado instead of cucumber, and it was very fresh. Also tried the Crunchy Salmon roll, which was a lightly fried, subtly sweet delight. Next time I’m in Savannah, I’m coming straight back here for lunch again.

Came to Savannah with my girlfriend for our second anniversary. This fine restaurant was recommended by the owner of our Air BnB. Can’t say I’m disappointed. Food was excellent. I had a Phili roll and my girlfriend has an Ebi roll and we split a Pad Thai. Would recommend if you’re visiting.

Décor = beautiful. Appetizer and entre options were almost too many. The food was a hit and miss… calamari«salad» was fantastic, steak was top notch, … pad thai tofu was fair. The soft shell crab was one of the specials… over fried with far too much sweet sauce for a seafood dish. Barely palatable! Service was the worst that I have had in a long time. Server forgot to take all orders with no hint of apology, made you talk behind each other instead of facing us… I have a bad neck and had to ask the server to come stand in front of me. There was plenty of standing room. No chop sticks offered to the customer that ordered the Tuna tartar and again no hint at an apology. I wonder if the waiter was just a fill in or relative of the owners as this continual mess up was ridiculous. Finally, if it is fine dining experience that you’re selling, then the manager should always at least breeze by the table to check, but he/she never arrived even when the restaurant was only a third full. The timing of the food arrival was perfect and the drinks were tasty, but the hit and miss food quality and the worst service in the city made this special visit with friends unenjoyable!

This is by far my favorite sushi spot in Savannah! The mexican roll is so delicious & fresh! They have great deals at lunch and the staff is always friendly. Great spot!

Had sushi which was disappointing at best. Ratio of rice to fish was such that you couldn’t taste the fish… too much rice. I understand sushi rice but this was odd and did not absorb my wasabi soy mixture. Ridiculously over priced sushi and $ 12.00 for what they call a large hot saki which is a small at any other restaurant I have been.

Just horrible. For the sushi, the fish-to-rice ratio was terrible and the quality of sushi was mediocre at best. My wife ordered a chicken and shrimp with rice dish and it was equally bad. The chicken and shrimp tasted old/spoiled and she couldn’t even eat half of it. And to top it all off, everything was way overpriced. I will definitely not be returning.

The sushi is pretty abysmal if I’m being honest. They try to fill you up on their flavorless mushy sushi rice and skimp on all of the fish and toppings. Bad flavor, unoriginal, not especially fresh. Plus almost every single roll they have has asparagus in it. Yuck. Just yuck. The other lunch and dinner items we’ve tried(seared tuna salad, crispy flounder, pad Thai, among others) have all been on the weak side. Mushy vegetables, not very good flavor, soggy, etc. I did like the spicy tuna tar tar on the seaweed salad. But for $ 15 it was teeeeny tiiiiny. I gave them a second shot and that’s about all the money I can waste on this place. There are too many delicious places to eat around here to waste your time and money on this one.

I was taken here on a date for my birthday, and I was surprised by how upscale it was(considering it’s in Southside in a parking lot with a sports bar). We were seated in this really nice booth but then we were ignored for about 15 minutes… not cool. We ordered cocktails — I forget which ones, but one of them had cucumber and the other one was not too sickly sweet and was purple/pink colored. Since the cocktails were kinda not worth it, we switched to a bottle of white wine that was pretty good and totally killed it. Tipsy dinner is the best. As for food, I got the lemongrass soup and the roasted duck, and my date got the crunchy salmon roll. The soup was deeeeelicious and the roasted duck was quite good. The salmon roll was humongous… I’m not sure how authentic their rolls are though. I was reading the descriptions and they didn’t quite match up how they were supposed to. But anywho, even if the food isn’t very authentic, the atmosphere is super romantic and the service is great(minus the whole waiting 15 minutes at first).
