Excellent quality! I loved their everything bagel and jalapeño cream cheese. Very friendly lady considering it was before eight in the morning when I stop then I shall return great bagels right on Union Street.

Bagels are ok, nothing special. The one star rating is for the terrible service. The workers are rude, short and argumentative.

This brueggers used to be amazing. Unfortunately the last two times I’ve been in there it’s been HORRIBLE! As people have written below… even an hour ago none the less, the staff is beyond rude, unprofessional, and swearing behind the counter. The bagels were soggy and I’m pretty sure the cream cheese tasted sour and bad. I can get over a bad bagel but I can’t get over a staff like that. This brueggers is being run into the ground. These people need to learn customer service and honestly just common every day courtesy.

Every time my boyfriend & I go there the service is awful! The employees are rude, one time we actually had one cursing and talking about her home life. Today we went in again, I asked for pimento cream cheese TWICE and the teenage idiot got it wrong. When my boyfriend pointed out that he did it wrong he proceeded to roll his eyes and condescendingly said he’d do it again, when I pointed out his attitude problem he rolled his eyes again and did that little snake bob and weave with his head and tell me how he said he’d do it again and thats all he said. The people here are rude, the service is terrible, and they sure know how to make a girl not want bagels.

I really enjoy their food, and the service is usually reasonably fast. The parking situation sucks, which holds them down a bit. The place has a pretty mediocre environment too but w/e, just take my food to go.

I don’t care how good the bagels are or aren’t, the CARPETING and FLOORING is downright disgusting. So ask yourselves this Niskayuna — Do you really want to EAT at a place that can’t be bothered to clean THEFLOORS? I don’t know why or how it has not been replaced all these years, it’s beyond ridiculous. WHATISUPWITHTHEMANAGEMENT/FRANCHISE OWNER? You should be ashamed. I’ve lived in Niskayuna for years. Every year, I think — they have GOT to get this place in shape. Today, I went in and not only is the carpet still filthy stained black, but the tiles are also falling out. Wow. Just wow.

The bagels are OK but a little overpriced. The attendant Nina was rude, slow, and kept talking over my bagel.

The only reason I am writing this review is because I desperately hope someone from the store in an ownership/management position reads this. I really only have one thing to say… REPLACETHECARPETINGINTHEPLACE!!! The food/service/help/stock is basically like every other store(sometimes good, sometimes not-so-good), but the carpeting is downright nauseating! I went to the Delmar store last week(an established store in the area) and the place looked freshly remodeled… and you could eat off the carpet! Union Street store – be warned: You will lose business unless you remodel.

We were only staying in Schenectady for the weekend, and we badly wanted breakfast at Katz Kafe. Unfortunately, Katz Kafe — the place that serves«breakfast all day» — was not, in fact, open for breakfast. So we settled on Brueggers. And I was glad we did. We tried the Sriracha and Denver bagel sandwiches, and both were great. Also ordered a large cup of coffee, and that did the trick as well. If I lived in the area, I would order from Bruegger’s any time I needed breakfast for the road.

Bagel’s are good. Coffee really wasn’t worth drinking.

*Bias Alert* Ok full disclosure, I worked at this Bruegger’s all through high school. So I’m kind of partial to it. However one should consider the fact that during all 4 years high school I ate there virtually everyday and I never got sick of it. That’s saying something. I’m still addicted to it to this day. Maybe someday I’ll open up my own franchise out west. I have thought about it at times. This Bruegger’s tends to be one of the busiest in the area. You are almost always guaranteed to have at least one type of hot fresh bagel variety there. And here’s a tip, if they don’t have what you are looking for available and or hot, you can request they bake it for you. They will do it on the spot. So if you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes, go ahead and ask. Take a stroll to the other shops nearby while you wait. It sure would help the local economy :) A love their soups. They have great clam chowder and during the summer months an awesome gazpacho. You really can’t go wrong with any of their soups. Right now chicken noodle should be topping the list for the cold and flu season. My favorite sandwich there, is the Chicken Fajita sandwich. Sadly it’s no longer on the menu but I still ask for it and they will make it. The dining area is usually bustling with people. Sometimes they are overwhelmed with customers and they don’t get to cleaning off the tables right away. But, generally it’s a clean dining area. There is limited parking in the front and lots of room for parking in the lot behind the shop. Go there if you love fresh bagels. You won’t regret it!

I stop there every day! I have the bottomless mug card. Everyone there is so nice, when they see me coming they have my coffee ready. I also enjoy their new skinny breakfast sandwich with sundried tomato spread and turkey sausage. I dont have them«skinny«the bagel though. I highly recommend! good food and cofffe and no fast food grease love it!

Veeeeerrrrry sloooooooowwwwwww«service» and a wicked cold draft between the two open doors made our first two visits to this location a bit on the unpleasant side. We also got tepid coffee, and they were out of a good number of bagels midday for lunch. I’m a fan of the chain as a sandwich-place alternative and the sandwiches, once we got them, were up to Bruegger’s standard, more or less, so I will somewhat hesitatingly give this location three stars from now with the understanding they’re On Notice and this could easily slip to two if they repeat.

This is a really good location of Bruegger’s because it’s right on Union street and convenient to a lot of other places(and it’s within walking distance to my house). There are plenty of tables inside and outside. Bruegger’s doesn’t have the best bagels I’ve ever had but they are pretty good. I’d recommend the cinnamon sugar bagel or any of the sandwiches. They have good soup options there as well(as with the other locations) and apparently in third grade some kids went on a field trip there to see how they make bagels. I can’t believe I missed out on that.
