Food is alright and the service could be a lot better. I spent 21 dollars on two beers and chicken strips that I watched the bartender pull out of a mini freezer. With that said, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Fun place to watch games thanks to the abundance of TVs showing different games… makes for lots of loud, mostly jovial conversation between fans of opposing teams. Decent beer list and dive-y bar food that won’t win any good nutrition awards but that’s probably not why people come here. Service could definitely be faster but is always friendly.

My husband and I love Bleachers for what it is: An unpretentious neighborhood sports bar with strong drinks and good food. They have one giant screen in addition to at least ten other monitors so you can likely catch whichever game you’re interested in.(If there’s a Sounders, Seahawks, or Mariners game, that will likely take precedence on the big screen.) Drinks are priced reasonably and most bartenders there have a delightfully heavy hand. In terms of food, our standard order is the Bleacher Burger(double cheese burger with bacon) and Chili Cheese Fries. You can get your burger on garlic bread buns(highly recommended!) and it has become one of my favorite burgers in Seattle. The Chili Cheese Fries are topped with meaty chili, bacon, scallions, and nacho cheese. If you like your chili cheese fries without fresh-grated cheese(and I do!), these are the best. We often get their buffalo wings too which are meaty and delicious. Just a warning, medium spicy is pretty spicy and my mouth burns when I forget to order mild and order medium instead. They have one main cook whose name I don’t know, but the food is excellent when he makes it(and good, just not nearly as good when it’s a different cook). Look for the tall, thin(bald?) guy… If you’re just looking for a snack, they have free popcorn available. Two tips: Skip the nachos and clarify salad ingredients(may contain cheese or onions without being explicitly stated on the menu). If you’re looking for a big crowd(and long wait for food), go on a Seahawks game day. If you’re going during the week, Tuesday’s are great for the free bingo! See you there!

Fun local bar. Very home team orientated. I enjoy the pool or darts. The drinks are great too. This is a good place for locals

I go to this sports bar regularly. If you’re a sports fan living in the Greenwood area, I bet you have too. Good TImes Pros: Lots of TV’s, Generally friendly staff and owner.(The waitresses greet my boyfriend by name. The cook is a little rough but he’d probably find this a compliment.) There are people here of all ages — I love running into neighbors! Bathrooms are clean. Decent food, considering the size of the ‘kitchen’. They have free BINGO! Cons: Service can be slow because they don’t seem to have enough staff on game days. No dark beer on tap. I would not go here on a Fri/Sat night when I’ve seen it turn into a trashy meat market.

I haven’t been in to a sports bar in ages and this place was fun! The bartender and staff were cool and nice, tv’s everywhere, good vibe. Will have to come back and try the food during Seahawk season. Cheers!

Only been a handful of times always been pretty solid good fun. The good– Friendly locals, nice dart boards, friendly bartenders, reasonably priced. The bad– seriously bright, some of the locals(last time super drunk guy trying to pick a fight in the patio area with anyone«I’m a marine I can beat the shit out of any MMA fighter»). Can’t go wrong with it as a place to have drink.

Classic neighborhood dive bar. The«DJ» was a joke. He would literally stop playing songs in the middle and choose a different one. That said, the drinks were good and prices were fair. Won’t be my first choice for happy hour but a good stop for the end of the night!

I’m not a big fan of the lighting, or even the parking situation, or even the food. And the drinks are sort of really ridiculously expensive for what is essentially an overgrown dive with sports blasting on a kind of cartoonish amount of screens. But let me tell you why I still give it three stars. I like the people. And I like the relaxed atmosphere, and the space, and sometimes you want a really, really bad taco for $ 1 at 9pm on a Tuesday. And they can provide that. One star all together for Bingo night— they really make it fun. Is Bleachers mediocre? Well, yeah. But I don’t really want to go to a «nice sports bar» or a «dive bar» every time. This is someplace in the middle. … Seriously guys, fix the lighting though. … No one needs to see every detail in a sad drunk’s face from across the room because the lights are up so high. Yeeeeesh. Tl;dr: good for sports and day drinking, bad tacos, awesome crowds and space, but bad pricing and lighting.

If you’re looking for a great atmosphere to watch the game/match then Bleachers is the place! Its worth heading over to Greenwood if you don’t live in the area simply because the drinks are not expensive, there are TONS of televisions to see the game and the food is great to snack on. Definitely Seattle’s BEST sports bar!

Bleachers has one of the best atmosphere on Game days. It truly is a great place to watch sports in the Greenwood area. The great bar food along with the great TVs to watch sports makes Bleachers a place you must experience on a game-day. Also where else can you still watch the game while in the restroom. Bleachers is truly the experince one would expect to get from sports bar.

Food has the comfort of bar food, but is sit-down restaurant quality. You can also watch the chef prepare your food. There are plenty of tvs dedicated to every kind of sport. Service is a little spotty. The bartender seemed more concerned with counting the stock and performing administrative tasks rather than serving the customers. A couple came in, sat themselves, waited 10 minutes, and left without ever being acknowledged and the bartender didnt notice.

Great sports bar right on Phinney Ridge, very close to Green Lake. Sixteen screens showing very sport you want. The owner is pretty cool too.

This is a sports bar, not a fine dining restaurant. That being said, as far as I’m concerned, Bleachers is one of the best places to watch a game/match/whatever you’re in to. I don’t live in the Greenwood area but I definitely do NOT mind coming up here to catch the games with friends. If you’re looking for a place to have a good view of the game(s), have fun with friends, eat some bar food, and drink some adult-restricted beverages — Bleachers is one of the best sports bars in Seattle!

I’ve been searching Seattle for a place that has great nachos served with cheese sauce. Found it! Definitely the best nachos I’ve had since moving here… and I’ve had quite a few. The nachos at Bleachers normally come with either beef or chicken, but I asked to substitute chili instead. Delicious! I could envision myself gaining serious weight if I lived close to Bleachers. But that aside, I wasn’t too impressed with the service. The place felt understaffed. There was one period where I didn’t see anyone who worked there for about 10 minutes. I imagine they were doing prep work or something in the back. They were gone so long, that one couple came in, sat down, looked around uncomfortably for a while, then got frustrated and left without the staff ever seeing them. And back to the good things! There is a wall of over 10 screens with one huge projector screen in the middle. They were showing football, baseball, and Ultimate Fighting. Look to the wall to the left of the huge projector screen and you’ll see a large whiteboard with the important upcoming games. Surprisingly as well, Bleachers was clean. There was a fresh smell to the place, which I didn’t expect at all.

Hey I came in here for the Buck Hunter because I’m trying to be hunter hero in every buck hunter pub in Seattle. I’m coming after you«God!» And I hadn’t been in Greenwood for awhile, I used to come more often when I lived in Ballard, and was a regular when I lived on Phinney ridge, but they have 16 flat screen HD t.v.‘s now, and a 12 foot projector, 1 shuffle board table(AWESOME!), 2 pool tables, got sucked in to golden tee for awhile, and there’s 4 dart boards, patio seating, and I was talking to Bree the bartender and they have the NFL Ticket, NHL center ice, MLB Extra Innings, and play all the NBA games, and they have a sweet juke box, and on NFL Sundays they’re open from 9 a.m. on for breakfast and Seahawks… The new additions are sweet! I’m a fan.

Fried food, a variety of very cold domestic beer, a bunch of bar games and big TVs. Bleachers is incredibly generic, but gets the job done. Possibly the only thing that really makes it stand out are the unexpectedly-high quality of the restrooms. They always smell amazing, and have little TVs so you won’t miss any action(if you’re there to watch a game).

After being regular patrons at Bleachers we went there last night for dinner(4 of us) and ordered our usual salads and were disappointed that they were not like what had come to expect. The grilled chicken salad had very little chicken(and what was there was tiny) and not the regular cheddar cheese that brought it all together — and simply was not satisfying. The house salad was ½ the size it use to be and they charged for extra dressing — The special for the evening, which is usually extremely good — never arrived. We had to go to the bar to order our drinks and food — no biggie as we expect that — but the food was not to standard. Needless to say, the four of us were extremely disappointed as Bleachers had not met their standards. Sad for us, we don’t want to go back.

Came here for NYE just to be out. It wasn’t too packed, which was good, and I wasn’t drinking so I didn’t have to worry about the bar. One of the staffers walked around passing out cups of champagne so everyone could toast(I drank that) and once the countdown began, everyone started in unison and then yaaaaay! My friends and I played shuffleboard; my first time playing this game and it was actually pretty fun. I’d come here a few years ago and will likely be back again. The pub is clean, well-lit, lots of TVs, plenty of seating, and the staff is nice. Parking is easy and it’s mostly on the street since the parking lot is small. All in all, Bleachers is a nice spot. =)

So since my last review we have come here at least 5 times & I don’t know why I haven’t updated??? Stopped by today to watch a little college football. They have a total of 15 tvs including one in each the mens & womens restrooms. The food is still great for the tiny kitchen & one chef. Their nachos are a particular favorite of ours. Stil free popcorn &10 beers on tap. The bartender/waitress hustles & is super friendly. Free shuffleboard, 2 pool tables, 4 – 5 dart boards, Golden Tee & Deer Hunter video games. Parking lot still difficult to navigat & outside still needs a paint job/face lift.
