2nd stop in Arizona. Sedona is an amazing amazing breath taking place. I will go back for sure. Bistro Bella Terra was awesome. Try the dessert sampler(see picture).

went for drinks here after dinner at the cowboy club. it was a pretty generic bar with a small draft beer selection. the bartender was filing in for the regular guy. poor chap had no idea what he was doing. he had never even heard of a red-headed slut… however, it was pretty much the only open bar within walking distance from the hyatt.

Good food, views galore! Over«the Y,» which is now a four-way intersection, is a nice restaurant with views of Oak Creek and the red rocks beyond. We enjoyed watching the Pink Jeeps driving up Schnebly Hill Road, identifying Camel’s Head and Snoopy Rock, and views that stretch down the river valley forever. Yes, the road noise swept up the cliff to our balcony, but we didn’t mind. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm, and found a wealth of vegetarian options on the menu. Still, we chose to stay true to our carnivore tendencies. Mother-in-law ordered medallions of duck breast, with coffee. My Lady ordered a cobb salad, which turned out to be quite large, and two«Arnold Palmers» — lemonade and iced tea. I ordered a flat iron steak salad, medium, and Diet Coke. The steak was marinated in a teriyaki sauce, and the vinaigrette on the arugula balanced it the way a fine wine balances a fine cheese. We all shared a slice of pecan pie, and the bill for the three of us came out to $ 68. The service was attentive and sincerely interested in our dining experience. I made sure they were rewarded for their effort, although they seemed to think that superior service was just the Right Thing To Do. If the management would take the time to teach these wonderful people the finer points of service, this would be a first-class restaurant. One can only hope and watch.
