Too expensive for what you get. Not enough meat in the sandwiches: club sandwich was 2 meager slices of soggy limp bacon, 1 each of ham & turkey, and 2 cheap Kraft– like slices of cheese for $ 6! Save your hard earned bucks. Go to Jason’s Deli.

Awesome food the sandwiches are off the hook the atmosphere is very nice and customer service is really good. Omg the panini sandwiches are so good and the deserts are out of this world.

Gotta agree with the person below, ‘This place doesn’t try. The staff is rude, frowny and doesn’t put any effort into your meal.’ I wouldn’t say the staff are rude exactly, but they weren’t friendly either. It costs nothing to be pleasant. Hubby and I went in around 3.15pm with our Amazon voucher(worth $ 20). Hubby didn’t get either his first or second choices, they said that the ‘new Mexican/Burrito additions’ to the menu stop at 3pm — though no where on any of the signage did it say that — I think they just cleaned the machines and can’t be bothered cooking one persons food on them again past 3pm or something stupid. They had no subs left — so that eliminates a large part of the menu. Their food wasn’t great, but not bad either, but I’d rather a Quiznos or something… Hubby was almost finished his food by the time I got mine and their ‘sides’ didn’t look particularly great so we skipped those. All things equal, I’d not go back and I’d spend my $ somewhere with nicer staff, nicer atmosphere and better grub!

This is my favorite place to get sandwiches. We’ve been going to multiple locations since 1996, and they are all great. The one in sugar land is especially good. The turkey supreme is to die for! They make awesome sandwich trays as well. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

Good simple sandwiches. Lots of sandwiches to choose from and a few veggie friendly options too. It is small in there so I always take my stuff to go. The only bummer is that they close early for a restaurant, and they don’t have a lot of parking so I tend to stop by after the lunch crowd leaves.

Great place! Very friendly staff. The owner works there every day with family members. They really care about taking care of the customers and making sure they have an enjoyable experience. Affordable prices, big portions and tasty ingredients. I’m just here on business for a week and I will be coming here everyday till I leave! A+

This place is way too«mom and pop-ish» for lack of better description. The staff is too laid back and«at home» while they are at work, from what I understand they are all kin folks. Just not my type of place!

For lunch, I suppose this restaurant is okay. I noticed the menu has much more of a variety than Subway or Quizno’s. I ordered the $ 5 foot-long tuna sandwich. Overall the taste was kind of bland. I realize it’s a tuna fish sandwich, but some restaurants will have red onions, butter pickles, or apples along with the tuna fish. This place just uses tuna out of a can. I requested the bread be toasted, but I didn’t think the bread was toasted well enough. Just to take note — there is no free wi-fi here. There are three small tables outside underneath a huge tree, which is nice when the weather’s sunny. The small restaurant is clean, so that’s a plus. I probably will end up coming here again, especially since the location is convenient for me.

This place doesn’t try. The staff is rude, frowny and doesn’t put any effort into your meal. I got the mufaletta: a below average sandwich that is soggy, nasty and just turkey/mayo/disgusting relish. Brilliant! They don’t even try on their slogan, they just rip Subway’s «$ 5 foot long.» For fast sandwiches, I gotta say this is worse than most.

I used to come here every now and then during business lunch hour rush when I didn’t feel like Jack In The Box just down the street. Everytime I drive by, it’s really hard to get a close parking spot as this location is right in the corner of the shopping strip full of other restaurants. Right now about 2 other restaurants closed their doors but Murphy’s doing just fine. The sandwich I usually get is the half of The Muffaletta. I don’t get the chips or drinks as the muffaletta is big enough as is and I usually just get water. During the lunch hour rush, the sandwich makers do their job fast and efficient. So far I haven’t had any errors. The other sandwich I also get every now and then is the Reuben. Both sandwiches taste good for it’s price but there’s nothing special where you would tell everyone to come and try. It fills me up with energy to boost through my work for the rest of the day until dinner time. Overall, it’s a great alternative if you work around in the Sugarland Business Park area and don’t feel like driving to Jason’s Deli or Subway. But this Murphy’s Deli is just like any Murphy’s Deli, decent sandwiches and fast lunch hour service, nothing special but the customer service is there.

Come here often for lunch, at least twice every week during my lunch hour. Since I frequently visit, the staff knows me; after politely greeting me they always ask«the usual?» and I nod in agreement most of the time. The usual for me consists of their tuna melt sandwich on wheat bread with a side of fruit. I also like their Turkey Muffaletta sandwich, which comes with their delicious homemade olive mix. I’m not the only one that seems to be one of their regular customers, as I have seen them greet other people in the same manner. It’s a small place, but always kept clean. On nice days I will usually sit outside their small patio. They tend to have lunch specials each day, once I had one of their baked potatoes and it was quite tasty. They also offer free treats every now and then such as pastries or cookies. I have been to other Murphy’s locations, but this location is my favorite, both in food quality and service.
