Underwhelming for the price with mediocre service. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with vegetarian chili soup. The mayonnaise based chicken salad was ok but for some bizarre reason more mayonnaise was added to the sandwich making it the dominant flavor. The chili was basically a bowl of black beans with some chili flavoring. The hamburger my wife and daughter ordered was ok with an average bun that got a little soggy. After we were done we wanted to order the bread pudding but we’re told that it would be a twenty minute wait and that ‘next time you should order it at the beginning of the meal’ — maybe they should say something on the menu? We were done and my wife and daughter left, I sat at the table for ten minutes waiting for the waiter to take the check with my cousin edit card, I guess he thought I was enjoying sitting there by myself? Finally I got up and paid at the counter without any acknowledgement that I was kept waiting.

Delicious brunch place, has great seating inside and outside. Owners are very nice and the place was clean. Eggs Benedict was pretty good too!

I love this restaurant. Whenever I get a chance to eat breakfast out, it is my go to place. I love the food. The service is amazing and the food is so worth the cost. AMAZING!

Ordered the Tiburon eggs Benedict and sour cream waffles. The waffles were fluffy and airy given how thin it looks. It was OK, but doesn’t warrant the 9 $ cost The tiburon eggs Benedict is really good, but I’ll pass on the sour cream waffles next time. 40 $ for all that and a latte

I enjoyed eating here, it’s quaint. However, the food was nothing special at all. The service was fine, my coffee never fell below the half-way mark in my mug, the waiter practically refilled it with every single sip I took, which was intense. I ordered the Eggs ‘Tiburon’ Benedict, which is their take on one of my favorite breakfast foods, lox replacing the Canadian bacon to create a nice and kosher alternative to the classic Eggs Benedict. The toasted English muffin, poached eggs, and the hollandaise sauce were very normal, but the breakfast potatoes weren’t very soft, or tasty. If I were to ever order this again, I think I’d order the hollandaise on the side and use less of it. It was very lemony. I have eaten several smoked-salmon benedicts, and they are typically two or three dollars cheaper than this one was. So this is simply why I give New Morning Café only 2 stars. It was $ 15 for my Tiburon, and I would have ordered some avocado slices on the side if it weren’t this pricy. This is a good, classic American breakfast place if you can afford it. I can’t afford it. It was a place to eat while my mom was up visiting from SB, and a good place to fuel-up before hiking around Angel Island. I also read a review below that reads: «if you are Mexican like the waiters, you will be treated as a second-class citizen as a customer.» Interesting, and probably very true. The argument, «what do you expect» is one of my least favorite, but it’s a good thing to remind ourselves of when venturing into this part of town. 2⁄5.

I don’t really understand why this place is rated so high in Unilocal. Menu’s are plain and foods are in between average & below average? interior is country old style. there’s not even a style, just the blue check patterned table clothes. one positive thing I remember is their jam. the jam on the table was very unique and so flavorful. wanted to know how to make it. I ordered a omelet and it has a tomato sauce on top of the omelet. Well. were they trying to make some unique signature dish? well. ketchup dfntly works better this case. Anyways… I waited long lone and I regretted.

Love this place for breakfast, especially when the weather is choice and you can sit at one of the outside tables. Nothing fancy, but the ingredients seem above-average in quality, and they are very consistent. Good times, nice people, good food.

Food ***** Excellent Service ***** Fantastic Ambience ***** No nonsense breakfast place. I ordered the crab Benedict and it was fantastic. The crab meat tasted so fresh like someone had just cracked a crab. The eggs were perfectly poached. The hollandaise sauce, which I ordered on the side, was not too heavy like the typical sauce you normally get with bendicts. The English muffins were toasted just right and I ordered a side of avocado which made each bite heavenly. I got to taste their pancakes… so fluffy and light. Next time, I will definitely venture in the pancakes territory if I have room after the crabs bendicts. I highly recommend the New Morning Café. If I lived in the area, it will be my «Every Morning» café.

The restaurant I judge all other breakfast and lunch restaurants by. The fact that they put out whole home made mainly organic plates of scrumptious food with such a small kitchen and such a large and diverse menu is amazing! The staff have all been there since I can remember because it is one of the last restaurants you can be proud to say you worked in. Anyone dissing the food or staff here is clearly a corporate diner without any idea of what it takes to run a mom & pop restaurant in this day and age. New Morning has been a staple to Tiburon for over 40 years because it is excellent at what it does, bar none.

New Morning is the perfect spot to grab breakfast in Tiburon. It’s walking distance from the Ferry stop and off of main street. The menu has everything and the service was great.

Try the Sonoma omelette– you won’t be disappointed. The omelette was fluffy and perfect! The sourdough bread that comes with the omelet is especially good.

I just love their Smoked Salmon Omelet. It is amazing and very soft and just melts in your mouth. Ive been coming here for years and it is one of my favorite places in Tiburon. It has space to sit outside, perfect for those sunny and warm days in Marin. The food usually comes out pretty fast. but if the place is busy, it might take a few minutes longer. But don’t worry, the wait is worth it. I like their pancakes as well… and their buttered whole wheat toast. my favorite side dish. Its a great place to meet the locals but also the tourists that come to Tiburon and explore its South of France like beauty… while enjoying some really good food

The eggs Benedict was similar to a series of waterfalls, but instead of falling water, tiny foodgasms in my mouth with each bite. Think I’m exaggerating? That’s fine. Go, order the eggs Benedict, I added avocado and sliced tomato(with no additional cost or fuss), and didn’t pick up my phone, didn’t answer a text, not a call, didn’t read a book or anything… just had a moment of zen with my breakfast. The potatoes that came with the dish were delicious. Huge, soft slices of breakfast potatoes with onions– perfect for sopping up the additional Hollandaise sauce from the eggs. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which I probably didn’t need. I like my drinks reallllllly girly, like, really, really sweet, so the hot chocolate wasn’t my favorite. It was a true hot cocoa, which may totally be up your alley. I came in on a Tuesday morning at 11am. I shared the place with only a couple other folks. I would have sat outside if it were just a liiiiiiittle warmer. But it was a little cool for me, so I picked my own table, a window seat facing the door so I could people/car watch Tiburon Blvd. Service was quick, friendly. My food came within minutes, hot, fresh, delightful. I sopped up every single bite. Might have licked my plate, if that were deemed socially acceptable. But alas, it’s not, so I didn’t. *shrug* Eggs + cocoa + taxes &20% tip= $ 24. Fantastic. Can’t beat it with an egg beater, as my grandmother always says. I’m still not sure what she means by that, but if it were to ever be relevant, it would be here. Careful not to miss it! Located on Tib Blvd right when you see Juanita Ln, in the small side-street, on the corner. 2 hour private parking, but not much if it were a weekend. I will return over and over and over and over again…
