Only came to this place for a smoothie. We got a smoothie with Mango, Banana, and strawberry. You only get to choose 3 flavors for your smoothie. The smoothie tasted very good in fact. The only downfall about this place is its cleanliness. The counter has straws papers everywhere and tasting little cups on the table.

This pretzel stand is one of many in the mall trying to steal some business away from Auntie Anne’s. Now, I used to be a huge fan of Auntie Anne’s. It was my ‘thing’. Go to the mall(they’re at all of them), get a pretzel with cheese then shop. But. Auntie Anne’s changed something. They no longer offer ‘hot’ cheese. It’s pre packaged and now not as good. So today when I was walking by this stand, I thought«I haven’t had one in ages. Only if they have hot cheese.» And they did. It wasn’t anything to write home about but it hit the craving and it wasn’t too terrible on price. They’re located on the side of the mall outside Sears and by the Nordstrom side of the mall.

I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel, which was a little too yeasty for my taste. The sugar was powdery and overwhelming, and the pretzel itself was dried out and only lukewarm. The«icing» sauce I got with it was hard as a rock. The flavor of that wasn’t too bad, but there was basically no way to get it on the pretzel. We got the icing for free because the attendant realized it wasn’t any good before she even gave it to us. I’ve gotten cinnamon sugar pretzel bites from Pretzelmaker before(albeit halfway across the country), and they were much the same — dry and lacking flavor. I don’t know why I even gave them another shot, but if you’re getting a pretzel at Southcenter Mall, avoid this place at all costs and go to Wetzel’s or even try Auntie Anne’s.

Recently moved into the slot where the previous 2 pretzel shops were in the practically-sucked-dry-of-traffic corridor leading to the empty former-Mervyn’s space(although, appears to be some construction going on over there now). I got me a garlic pretzel and small bites with honey mustard dip. The garlic was nice in that it wasn’t «just» a pretzel with powdered garlic on it; no, it was sufficiently crusted along the bottom edges, densely chewy, and pretty good — and didn’t taste«garlic dry». o.0 Small bites were tasty with the dip, as well. Good after-meal snack.
