THEREWAS A PIECEOFMETALINMYMEAL. I called the store & was given the owners # «Lilly» she seemed to care less about this dangerous situation & told me there is no way I can prove this happened. REALLY?!?

Long story short, went in to get some lunch, ordered the works based off the booklets they have at the cash register, price was $ 6.90! Order came up to $ 8.75 due to price change, understood, but at least honor what you have in the out dated booklet the one time to a long term customer, not anymore! If it wasn’t for me pointing that out, they would have more than just one upset customer. Great customer service, manager! 1 less customer to worry about, right? Wrong…

I like flame broiler but I will never go back to this location. The chicken was super dry and tasted days old. I couldn’t even finish ¼ of it. I had to throw it away because I was so grossed out and bought a cup o noddles since my lunch time was over. Waste of $ 7

I work in the District and I eat here pretty often. Today I called in an order and when I got there, the cashier was rude while taking my money. Their prices have gone up, but their food quality has gotten worse. The rice was stuck together in clumps, the meat was burnt and there were charred, black pieces mixed in. This is unacceptable for an $ 8 beef bowl.

I ordered a chicken & veggie bowl for lunch today and in my final few bites, I see a tiny black metal wire in my bowl. It looked like a wire bristle from the brush they use to clean the grills. I should’ve taken a picture but I quickly brought it to an employee’s(Erika) attention and she took it from me and showed it to the cook. She didn’t apologize or say anything to me so I sat back down as my friend was finishing up her bowl. Erika later came over to our table and asked if I would like a mini bowl to-go and I said no but it would be nice if she could provide a coupon or voucher. She said yes and started looking around the cash register area for quite some time but then she never handed me anything. The poor customer service and her unapologetic attitude was extremely rude and it was very strange that she didn’t apologize or try to fix the situation. I hope management can better train the employees at this location on how to properly handle situations like this and have better quality control in the kitchen.

Don’t bother to come here. Dunno why people give this FB restaurant high rating. Customer service is good. . BUT the food is NOT. I ordered to-go an angus beef bowl with veggies($ 6.90+tx) & chicken bowl($ 6.40+tx), their bowls are only half-full & only few meat. Go somewhere else ‘cuz it’s a ‘highway robbery’.

I love FB. Steak bowl with onion is all I get. The chicken is too fatty for me so I avoid it. I love the magic sauce mixed with a little bit if the spicy green sauce. Yummy!

I ordered the chicken and beef combination plate. The chicken had a nice char grilled flavor. The meat however was a bit overcooked and dry. The beef was very overcooked and dry that was so tough that it had a texture similar to beef jerky. There was a bunch of gristle as well. The beef was also flavorless and bland. The cabbage salad was bland. They tell you that you get fresh fruit as part of the combination plate which consisted of a half of an orange.

Wish I could review how the food was, but I can’t, cause the cashier spot and kitchen is freakin empty!!! I was literally there 5 mins ago, to get a bowl, and there was no one to take an order or make anything!: sigh: On to five guys

If you are looking for simple teriyaki this is a convenient place that’s reasonably priced. I typically order the chicken bowl(without the veggies though they do add green onions) and brown rice. You put on your own«Magic Sauce» which is their version of teriyaki. I almost always order the white meat version of the chicken to make the bowl as healthy as possible. Nothing too fancy but the place has some healthy options and the customer service has always been good for me.

Great place to get healthy food. If your looking to go low carb, you can ask for all veggies instead of rice. You get a good amount of food in the regular bowls. Service here is good and also quick.

My new favorite place. I now always come here when im sick or im feeling unhealthy. FOOD: Im really sensitive to msg, salt and dairy and usually try to eat healthy bland food at home. Most of the times, when I eat out, especially asian style food, I get headaches, upset stomach or I get really thirsty from salt oil and msg. This place is the cleanest food ive ever bought at a(fastfood) restaurant. Theres no difference between the food my parents cook and home and this. The food always comes out in less than a minute and its always hot and fresh. The beef reminds me of korean bbq shortribs. PARKING/LOCATION: its located in the District so its inside of a huge outdoor mall so parking it and finding it is a bit more of a hassle than if it just had its own location. ATMOSPHERE: clean, white and empty. Nothing upscale or fancy, it looks similar to a KFC. I come in here with my laptop to sit in one of the empty tables and study. Flame broiler doesnt have its own wifi though:(. Bottom line: The menu is pretty limited, only options are really beef, chicken with optional veggies and sides, but it tastes really good. Price is a bit cheaper than chipotle but it doesnt have as much sides as chipotle. Still, only restaurant ive ever been to that doesnt drown the food in flavor. The taste and quality and quickness makes up for the lack of diversity in the menu. 10⁄10.

If you’re looking for something temp hot and fairly healthy, my recommendation is the chicken mini bowl for $ 4.80. Pay extra for white meat and it comes to $ 6.53 with tax. You can also ask for brown rice and extra broccoli for no extra charge and they are generous with the broccoli! The cashier is always very nice and the place looks clean. There’s also two tables outside in a pleasant atmosphere.

I was surprised by this Flame Broiler. I come to the District often, but I finally noticed they had a Flame Broiler when an employee was giving out some really good coupons. My friend and I jumped on using them and snagged some delicious bowls. I chose my bowl with brown rice and beef. It’s nice to have a free brown rice option and the beef was good quality. I’ve eaten at other Flame Broilers where the beef had gristle. Not good eats. The restaurant is clean and the staff was quick and friendly. I’ll keep this location open for a quick lunch option.

Came here for the first time this past weekend! I love FB and my boyfriend and I were excited that this one opened at the District. Location is very clean, spacious and has several tables. Food came out quickly and was great as usual. It wasn’t crowded or anything which is really nice. The only reason why I give it 4⁄5 stars is because the soda machine is strangely located towards the back. I almost didn’t see it at first because it’s back there. Kinda strange location. But other than that, everything was great!

Pretty clean place and the food was fresh. The taste was good, but there wasn’t much meat in the bowl, other flame broilers give more meat than here, but it was fresh so it was okay.

The restaurant was clean and empty. I ordered the mixed bowl, beef, chicken & veggies. Small portions and over cooked or its been sitting out food. The beef and chicken looked shribbled and dry. The taste, worse than it looked. Mind you, I had a coupon for a free bowl and I’m so glad I didn’t spend my money here. Quite disappointing considering they are suppose to be a fresh and healthy alternative. Spend your money elsewhere.

Just picked up a chicken/angus beef plate. I wasn’t too impressed because it didn’t seem like I got alot of food(maybe because I was starving) compare to the other flame broilers. At the other places, the men were making the food and they pile it on versus here, it was a female. The food came out quick like within seconds of me ordering. Which makes me go hmmmmm? I was the only customer, probably the first for the morning. Also I didn’t get any utensils. I paid for a plate but it seemed like I got a kids bowl. What a shame because the beef and chicken was delicious. The worker at the register was nice, so a 1 star for her. I’m still hungry.

BRANDNEWSTORE. Excellent service and very clean. Flame Broiler’s becoming the new Panda Express for me. It’s tasty and healthy and believe it or not, one of my good friends lost weight eating it every day hahaha. I like this location because it’s so new and the food is fresh. You can see the kitchen from the counter, which is very well maintained and CLEAN! Can’t say that enough! If you need a quick meal, definitely stop by! They also have a deal right now, which is free drink with every meal! :]
