Place can get busy due to hotel patrons. Tastes like your typical Starbucks. Staff is hit or miss.

Picked up a cheese box for protein this morning… it must have gotten hot at some point b/c the brie was going bad and the apples were turning brown. First time ever happened, normally this is a no-brainer breakfast.:-(

I ordered a Venti Chai… almost half of my cup was froth, and the liquid wasn’t hot! :(

I come to this store every single week day morning. Jose is my favorite barista! He is the reason my colleagues I make a point to stop in! He not only remembers our names, but our drinks and always has the biggest smile on his face, He is the exact definition of hospitality. We adore him! We are SOSAD that he is being transferred out. #keepJose #BringhimbackinJuly

This is a busy location. I highly suggest you use your Starbucks app to order ahead otherwise you will stand in line with a lot of people. This location is great. I always walk in and find a clean Starbucks. The staff are great when it comes to efficiently getting people their food and drinks. I usually order ahead and haven’t had an issue with them. Only once their machines were not getting the mobile orders and so when I got there they had no idea I ordered until they rebooted something and then a bunch of mobile orders popped out. There are a handful of homeless folk who sometimes come here and sit inside. Don’t freak out. They are friendly and usually are drinking a cup of coffee or just chilling in one of the chairs. Overall, I like this location. I love their huge table in the back. It’s a communal table for people to sit on. Nice comfy chairs to sit on. Great location near/in Penn Quarter/Chinatown.

Quick stop for coffee or latte. Out latte was just warm, a bit hotter would have been perfect. Chestnut Prairie Latte was very good.

Starbucks is Starbucks so everything taste like it should. However the service is not the best. Kind of slow and not organized. I’ve been here twice since I’m staying in the hotel and both times they messed up my order. But the convenience of staying here is fine

Starbucks is Starbucks so that isn’t worth commenting more on. The staff here are always friendly and efficient. The location is clean and rustic, a chill little get away from the concrete of downtown. The line does get long, though I don’t think that is a sign that they service is poor.

I stopped here while walking from a work meeting to the subway station. I would say that this location is a typical Starbucks. I was quite satisfied with their service. I had ordered ahead and my drink was waiting for me on arrival.

I’m not the biggest Starbucks fan but this is now my favorite Starbucks location! Each staff member that I interacted with had a good energy and put a smile on my face. The cashier was super friendly and efficient and kept the line moving to minimize the wait. This location has a small, intimate setup with a few small tables and chairs, and one long wooden, communal table as another Unilocaler mentioned. Another thing that I like about this location is that it’s connected to the Grand Hyatt hotel. I couldn’t find decent seating in the Starbucks, so I ventured into the hotel lobby and found a comfy seat right near the Starbucks doors where I got to sit and enjoy my breakfast sandwich, beverage, and free WiFi.

Upon walking into this Starbucks, something seemed off. They all had hats on. The pastries looked… off. And then I noticed they had Micros POSes. Bingo. This is a franchise within the Hyatt. It was their morning rush and there was a long line. Having worked for Starbucks in the past, I have sympathy for the rush. It’s stressful. However, no one was in a hurry for anything. They also made no effort to make any kind of small talk, not even the most basic of formalities. The barista definitely wasn’t in a hurry, despite a huge back log of drinks. I also found it disappointing that their third person wasn’t doing anything to help the barista, such as making cold drinks or something to speed up the process. However, the icing on the cake was when a lactose intolerant lady asked the barista if she could have like 1 oz of soy milk in her coffee. The barista rudely said«we charge for soy» and went back to making her drinks. She never even made eye contact with the customer. I looked behind me and glanced at the line. There were about 20 people in it. Yeah unfriendly-barista-girl, she’s going to wait in line for 20 minutes and pay $ 0.85 for 1 oz of soy. Starbucks policy is that customers do not get charged for less than 3 oz of soy. So I’m not sure what the problem is at this Starbucks. Anyway, finally the husband of the lactose intolerant lady begged and pleaded the barista for some soy. And got it sucessfully. But she was still super rude. When someone is paying 2x — 3x the going rate for a cup of coffee, give them some damn soy milk.

Staff is the coolest! I guess this makes me a starbuck coniseuer, even though their coffee is not always the best tasting. Its nice to know what to expect when traveling. Ive found the staff here to be some of the coolest people though! That counts a lot in my book:-)

Super small and intimate starbucks with long wooden communal tables and window table seats. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, and perfect for people watching through the window. I ordered the soy chai-latte, delicious. :)

It’s too bad this is by the bus stop because it inevitably turns into a crazy place when passengers are rushing in to use the bathroom and buy lattes with their big luggage. This rating has nothing to do with the staff because I think they do a good job all things considered. But this spot is particularly cramped. Also, not sure why the music is blasting so loudly…

As Kevin L. notes, this Starbucks is inside the Grand Hyatt — it’s a very comfortable Starbucks — and a very busy one. Having said that, they are very good at moving a long line quickly. I was relieved to see the Sbux when I arrived at the hotel as I was in needed of caffeinated sustenance. Over the course of two days, I hit up this Starbucks four times — two grande coffees, and two triple shot iced lattes! All strong and delicious!
