I am obsessed with JJ hoagies, so this review will be a little biased. Chalk it up to taste buds that just go crazy for JJ. I will say the five-stars is still legitimate in my experience. The staff are super nice, and they are JJ quick with orders. I also do love the celebrity-level attention you get as soon as you walk into the store. Additionally, this store supports local businesses by randomly dropping off hoagies to neighboring businesses for all the employees/staff. That’s awesome in my book. I also have to mention that I frequent the JJ at Penn, since I am down there for work. I have experience for both stores, and this store certainly is a five-star experience.

Yelled at by the owner for calling and complaining when my order had not arrived after over an hour. Long time Jimmy Johns customer, not anymore. Never been treated so poorly by a business owner: he told me and all my colleagues to stop ordering from him, which we will do. Go to other Jimmy Johns locations, do not support this one.

If you’ve been to a Jimmy John’s before & enjoyed them, this is the exact same experience & quality as I’ve gotten at the others. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 2PM, no wait at all, was in & out super quick.

I love a good sandwich. But this is not a place for it. Very limited menu. Low quality lunch meats. The gourmet was missing!

Great addition to the refurbished strip mall on 571! When they say speedy delivery they really mean it. Lucky us we live in their delivery zone. We place our order online(great website btw… it allows you to customize a sandwich as you like) and the food is delivered within 20 mins… love it! Their veggie sub with avocado spread is our family favorite. Wish they had some more hot sandwiches on their menu.

Brought free sandwiches to my office. My first Jimmy John’s loved it. My new favorite place

I love a good sandwich but options are too limited here. No hot sandwiches and just a small menu. For some reason they are obsessed with speed over all else so forget any substitutions. Picture this: no one in the store but me. I’ve ordered sandwiches and a pickle. I’ve asked for the pickle to be cut into smaller pieces and the answer is no. No, because it goes against their«fast» ethos. Even though the store is empty besides me. I won’t be back

Favorite place for a hoagie in the area, the #5 Vito is on point, and I spring for the hot peppers and a quartered pickle. The bread is the best part — fresh and not soggy.

O MY O MY! THERE’S A JIMMYJOHNSINPRINCETONJUNCTION! Man, I remember getting this often in pittsburgh. Fell in love with the Hunter’s club so much that the guy taking orders on the phone when I was in pittsburgh wouldn’t even bother asking when he saw my number. Bread is amazing. It’s the bread that makes the sandwich. Decent crust without too much crunch on the outside, soft and perfect on the inside. Same great sandwich. All these people that are giving lesser ratings are just mad. In the famous words of Richard Sherman, ‘YOUMADBRO?‘ Come check it out yourself!

Jimmy John’s — yum! My favorites are the Vito and Turkey Tom. Save room for a whole pickle and chocolate chunk cookie.

Really enjoyed my first visit to JJ’s. The staff was very friendly and helpful and are quick to greet you when you come in, I appreciate that. The food was fresh and good quality. I got a vegetarian sandwich, the avocado was perfect and flavorful as were the accompanying vegetables. My favorite part is the bread though it has great texture and perfect chewiness; it’s so fresh and tasty.

Have never had a complaint when getting a sandwich from here! Staff are always super fast and friendly! They have never messed up a sub they made for me! I also love their potato chips and their chocolate chip cookies! So delicious every time! Highly recommend! I hope more jimmy johns pop up around New Jersey!

The bread was a huge disappointment. The tomatoes were defrosted after being frozen and mushy. The meat was minimal. The staff, where not unkind, seemed less than intelligent. How do you not have salt or pepper? Avocado spread was flavorless. The pickle and chips were fine. Given these facts, how could this place use the tag line of «World’s Greatest Gourmet Subs?» The owner of Jimmy John’s must think Ellio’s Pizza is also«gourmet.» Just proves that people from Illinois like bad food.

I can’t believe there are poor reviews for this Jimmy Johns! I love this Jimmy Johns! Sandwiches are always excellent, I love the bread, I have never had any complaints about my order. Ordering online is so easy and you can customize everything. My co-workers and I regularly order lunch from here. Every time we have picked up our large group order, the staff at Jimmy Johns have been SOOO nice and had everything ready. They always have the entire order ready in a large box for us, no mistakes, and are always so accommodating. I think the service is excellent and LOVE going here.

This is your 100% typical Jimmy John’s – except the staff are a little nicer than your average place. Not very many veggie options, but we make do. The rolls here are very polarizing – I actually think they are kind of cool but many people really don’t like them, including my wife and best friend. Definitely not your typical bread. Their delivery range is suuuuper weird. Our apartment is 2.5 miles away and yet they don’t deliver.

I patronize this shop near my office via internet ordering. It’s generally been pretty good… until this week. The bottom line is, the sandwiches are passable but their«Freaky Fast» shtick is just that: a gimmick. BTW, when you order via the website, you get all kinds of customization options. The following is a blow-by-blow transcript of my attempt to leave feedback on their website or hot line 5 separate times in the last hour: «So… ordering via the internet is supposed to be fast and easy, right? I ordered and showed up 15 minutes later so I figure the sandwich is ready. But it wasn’t. The cashier girl was very nice and repeated my order and I paid. I moved down to make room for the patrons behind me. Then I proceed to watch several customers come in, order, get their sandwiches and leave. Admittedly, it was busy so I waited patiently. Then about 5 minutes pass and there’s no sign of my sandwich. Finally, I asked one of the sandwich folks where my sandwich was. It had been made but forgotten on a shelf somewhere. «I also ordered via internet on May 12. In that case, they just plain messed up the order. When I got back to my office I found they had made it an an «Unwich»(a «sandwich» wrapped in lettuce. Ugh. So I had to go back to the store and wait some more. «I’ve used your internet service in the past and it’s always been ok. Just the last two times have been a problem. «Folks, I like your sandwiches and your employees are enthusiastic. But you’re doing the internet freaky wrong. If eveyone’s making sandwiches, who’s «driving the bus?» I could have gotten my sandwich faster if I just came in cold. Garry Out Princeton NJ «p.s. This is my second time trying to leave feedback. The first time I tried to submit this feedback a little after 1pm 5⁄15. First the page went error 404, then, restarting my browser, your website now cannot display the feedback page. Trying to remain patient… «p.p.s. Ok, now it’s 1:20 and I still cannot get to the feedback page. I know my internet connection is good because your main page comes up fine. I’m starting to think you don’t really want my feedback. «p.p.p.s. Now the feedback page appears. It’s 1:30. Third try. I re-enter my info and comments. The page 404s out on me again. Hope you guys can fix your problems… I know somebody out there cares about this. «p.p.p.p.s. Oh wow, this is great. So I give up on electronic feedback and I’m going to call your hotline, 1−866−276−6302. What do I get? «Sorry, this number is not currently in service.» I guess you people really don’t want to hear from your customers. This is actually starting to get funny. It’s 1:40pm. «p.p.p.p.p.s. Ok, now it’s 1:50. 5th try. If this doesn’t work, I’m going to Unilocal to let everyone know.»

I’d give zero stars if possible… sandwiches are mediocre enough but the service is awful. I get the shtick of fast service but sometimes you need to go off script and slice a pickle into chips. And customers shouldn’t have to ask for a bag — and then do it themselves — when getting three sandwiches and a pickle to go. I suspect they’ll go way of Quiznos soon enough…

The sandwiches are definitely better than those at Subway or Quiznos. We’re not a fan of fast food chains but Jimmy John’s might be an exception. The sandwiches are pretty good and feel wholesome.

The power is out all around here. These guys are working in the dark sans register. Good attitude and winning new fans. 5 Stars for adaptation! Is it possible to write a full review when the power is out, and the place is dark? Sure, if it was a candle lit romantic restaurant the dimness would add to the experience. I guess, in a way it does here, too. It goes without saying that the staff reacted incredibly well to being without electricity. They greeted everyone with a smile, and explained that only cold sandwiches were available, and in fact the soda dispenser was not even operating. Still, the water was cold, and the available sandwiches were made the same way, light or no. I had a Turkey Tom. Roast Sliced Turkey with Provolone Cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The submarine roll(or torpedo if your from North Jersey), was fresh and soft with a weak taste, but good texture. The first bite was cool, smooth, with a little lettuce crunch. The«meal» included a bag of chips and a bottle of water. I picked Jalapeño. Critical to the success of the sub was putting the chips inside the sandwich to add a spicy kicking taste and heavy crunchiness after the mildness of the Tom and Provolone. I don’t think anyone saw me do that in the half light. Our little secret. Overall, the sandwich was as good as any other from a sandwich specialty shop, and the«gourmet» aspect was not immediately apparent. However, with the power out and all of us in there cooperating with the totally engaged staff, it was a highly memorable experience. Where were you when the lights went out in West Windsor?

The newest sandwich shop in West Windsor, NJ! Welcome to the hood — we’re glad to have you. I went to Jimmy Johns for the first time last week as a quick dinner for the kids between evening activities. I needed something quick but not unhealthy. I used the online ordering feature which I absolutely loved. It makes it so easy to customize any sandwich to each kids taste, which any mother knows can be a chore. There’s nothing worse than holding up the line at Subway with a child who puzzles over each ingredient. When I arrived at the store a few minutes after ordering they were working on my order and it was done momentarily. Very quick and friendly service. And every special request that I placed online was there when I unwrapped the sandwiches, right down to whether the sandwich was cut in half or not. That’s a special request which I actually wish was standard because I forgot to add that on half of the sandwiches in our order. The rolls are good and it looks like they scrape out some of the extra dough to make room for the meat and veggies which I really liked. I don’t like having to fight with the sandwich to take a bite. Everyone enjoyed their sandwich — fresh ingredients, plentifully applied on a good roll. That’s all I need in a sandwich. My only complaint is that they apparently don’t use pickles on their sandwiches and opt for the cucumber instead. I tried this, thinking maybe they know something I don’t, but no, they in fact do not. The pickle would have been much better than the cucumber. You can buy a whole pickle, but you can’t put that on a sandwich! They also have a very limited delivery area. There is a map in the store and my neighborhood is out of the delivery zone. They say that they like to be super-speedy with their delivery, thus the limited area. Ok. I’ll drive there and pick it up. I’ll definitely be returning.
