This is the very rare situation where an initial terrible first I, press ion transformed into an extremely positive one. We were met with a very cold temperature and the salsa was more like simple tomato sauce out of the can, and we told the server so. That almost guarantees a terrible experience to come. Our server bent overpack wards to make, us feel comfortable, bringing out 4 different sauces that were all good, and taking the time to make amends and make us feel comfortable. And then the food came out, and it was great, including a tweak requested by my companion. Not everything on the menu can please everybody, but the reaction by staff speaks volumes for the restaurant, and this place went, above and beyond.

One of the best places for good Mexican food! Love the California burrito! Definitely should look into getting one!

The food was good until I found a piece of glass in my beans. Never going back there again.

What disappointment. We came to this place for a nice Mexican dinner. It had been a while since we had good Mexican food and this place seems authentic enough that you would that they cook well. What a let down. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Dish and it was gross. First of all they use dark meat in all their chicken dishes which was a real let down considering the price of the dish. My wife ordered the fish tacos and she said it was very bland. I took a bite and it did seem tasteless to me. Even the beans were not seasoned well. Oh, and the margaritas were very weak. When I mentioned to waitress she brought me an extra shot, but then charged for it. Overall not at all what I expected.

I very much like the food. I thought the service was outstanding. They have a full bar, and the bartender was great! I had the grilled chicken street tacos. Delicious

Come here a couple of time for a lunch… my co-worker all spoke highly of this place. The first time I came I got sopes con al pastor, which were find, standard fare, and the second go round I got a combo plate with a chile relleno and a pork tamale. The tamale was pretty good, but the chile relleno was just eh. I know some folks like their chile relleno with salsa, but its not really my cup of tea. it was just bland… then again I haven’t found a chile relleno that I really like anywhere. It felt like it was just sitting around for a while. On the plus side, the service was really good and the chip and salsa were good.

Absolutely horrible. Worst burrito I’ve ever had. Hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was just a waste of $, plus I had to go get dinner after throwing this away.

Service is OK and food is OK. I would suggest for drinks and chips or an appetizer but for a meal you can get much better Mexican food with better service. Prices are a little high for what you get. Stop in for a margarita or a beer and then bounce.

The food & service at Lupe’s was good. We came in close to closing & they were very accommodating. My husband enjoyed the vuelve la vida which is basically a ceviche topped with a shrimp cocktail. Nice selection of Mexican seafood options on the menu. I had the birria which was delicious and tasted very homemade. They have a molcajete dish on their menu that serves 2, which is always great to see on a Mexican restaurant menu. I probably wouldn’t recommend the taquitos. I know it’s the most basic of Mexican foods that most people who aren’t familiar with real Mexican food get, but it was covered in lettuce with the guacamole & sour cream on top so it was meh. There cocktail menu looked to have a good selection as well.

Had relatives visit with many children. All of the kids were pretty happy with the meals and the parents of course were happy with the pricing. Knew the meals were a little more nutritious for the kids than heading to a fast food chain. Nice play ground near by for the kids to work off energy afterwards.

Went in on Tuesday about 5, and sat outside. Had a young male as our waiter. He took our drink order, brought out chips and left. No silverware, napkins, nothing. He came back to take the order and we weren’t ready, he got upset and stormed off, the second time he back(20 minutes later) we were ready. We ordered, and he brought out the food, still no silverware, as my boyfriend went in to get it the waiter just have a smug look, no apologise nothing. We always go here when in town but after that service, no thank you. It takes one time to ruin someone’s experience, hat’s off to this young man who made our experience the worst ever.

Right on the town green, Lupe’s has a great location. The food is always«OK» and sometimes tastes microwaved, for example the cheese on a quesadilla isn’t melted all the way. I’d go here if my friend suggested it, but I wouldn’t think of it as one of the best places to go. I prefer El Farolito on Old a Redwood Hwy

Got a quick salad for lunch here and wasn’t impressed at all. I ordered the fajita salad with no onions to go… when I got back to my office to eat it, it was mini, tasted extremely salty and didn’t fill me up at all.

We had a party of 2 and it was Friday night. The place was crowded(a good sign) and we sat in the bar, as that’s all that was available. Patience-The young waiters answered my wife’s questions on the sauces, to make sure she did not get something she was not expecting. My wife had the Camerones Diablo, which indicated was going to be Hot. Service– The waiters were very attentive. Between the Bartender and 1 server they covered the room. Quality of the food– The food had a very freshly prepared flavors, servings were generous. The chile relleno was huge and the Tamale was stuffed with Pork. Clean– The restaurant, and the restrooms were impeccably clean. I commented on this to the servers as well. What more can you expect on a Friday Night during the Dinner Rush? Thumbs up for these guys!

Family owned, local business. Really good food. Their grilled veggie burrito was really tasty. They’ve added a tequila bar to the back of the place, which makes some great margaritas. Fun place to relax and take in a game on the TV as well.
