Honestly I was having a horrible day until I came in, life really turns positive when you have people as welcoming as the Firehouse Crew members. From there to the amazing service that a beautiful young lady named Dallas provided to the simply gorgeous sandwich she made me it couldn’t get much better. It was honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life and the people just made it all the best. Thank you Firehouse Crew for turning my day around, it really means a lot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat around lunch time and it was busy. The way the store is layer out, it makes it hard to see where the line ended and it just looked like a bunch of people standing around… but once we found the ‘end’ of the line, we waited out turn. The staff was friendly and fast. The young lady took our order and we found an empty table. Our food came out in about 5 min. It was fresh and hot and tasted good. All in all a normal experience for a Firehouse subs. I have eaten at a few that gave me soggy bread but this one was fine. Atmosphere = 6 Service = 8 Food = 8 Stop in for a quick bite to eat! Enjoy!

I have tried twice now, and both times the subs were mushy and cheap tasting, yick. Do not like.

We stumbled in here since we were starving after our flight from Chicago. We had no intention of coming here, I was just sick of Five Guys and Panera. This is now one of my bf’s favorite fast food places. The subs here are ridiculously good, all but two are prepared hot. This place was founded by firefighters and the food that they like to eat and it shows. The place is a little cliché with the decorations but who cares when the food is this good? He has already looked up locations near us in Chicago. The staff was super friendly, this location was clean, and the outdoor seating was superb!

Usually I order online and pick up the food to bring home but Sunday we stopped in and ate there. Let me add my order has always been ready on time. We had a nice meal here. Order was ready quick and the sandwiches are always good. I highly recommend the Ms Vickies Sea Salt and Vinegar chips, they are really good. I also like the Coke Freestyle Machine with over 100 flavors. Try the Orange Coke or Grape Sprite.

I went around 6:00 pm. It’s the same as most other firehouse sub shops, so if you’ve been to one, you’ve been to this one. All their subs are toasted, they have lots of hot sauces on display, though you can’t use most of them as almost all the bottles are empty. The food we got(turkey club and hook & ladder) tasted fine. A combo is about $ 8 per person. The service was SLOW. They were not very busy, maybe 8 customers there, and I waited for 15 minutes to get my food after ordering. I’ve been to other Firehouse subs and they are a little faster, but as far as sandwich shops go, Firehouse is significantly slower than any others I’ve been to(Quiznos, Subway, Roly Poly wraps, Gator Subs, Jimmy Johns…). As always in Winter Garden Village, parking is hit or miss– you might get a spot right in front, or have to do some hiking and park further away. Take your money down the road to Gator Subs on McGuire if you want better service, lower prices, and better food.
