I loved the food… my family and I try to go at least twice out the month. I always get the General Tso chicken very very good. My wife gets the egg drop soup which is fabulous. My kids like the Shrimp Egg Foo Young they give alot of it so they can share it. Please keep the good food and services.

Good food and clean restaurant. The staff is really friendly as well. They have carryout or dine in. Meals with a drink are around $ 9

Got take out this evening — chicken lo mein and general toas! Expensive but a lot of food and really good! Glad I got food here.

2nd time to get carryout was better with broccoli just cooked medium instead of well done. We usually get white rice, so having extra sauce with the chicken & beef dishes is fine — like to mix meat + rice + veg + sauce together for a tasty main dish. Copious servings are much more than 1 meal! But no snow peas available — my favorite.

Ordered delivery numerous times. The food is very good and the service was quick. Not pricey. Quantity and quality exceeded my expectations.

I order the pork fried rice and General TSO chicken and it was not that good. I see why the place is empty. I need to find a great Chinese restaurant that is locate in Woodbridge. Not good at all. The reason I gave it a 2 star Bc the owner was very nice.

This is the best Chinese food I’ve tasted in a L O N G time, absolutely fresh and delicious. I ordered the Sea Food on a rice noodle pan and it was spectacular. Very generous portion, well presented, well balance on the Sea Food content and fairly priced. The owner lady was very nice and attentive, bathroom was very clean and I didn’t see a single fly!!! If you’re around this area this is a sure bet, even if your not is worth driving the extra miles IMO.

This small restaurant has a few obstacles to overcome – first, it’s in a tiny strip plaza across from two gigantic plazas on Minnieville and Smoketown. Second, they don’t seem to do much advertising or have many photos up of their food. Third, they have a nice little dining room which almost always seems empty because of the takeout nature of Chinese food in Woodbridge. That said, this is a solid option for Hong Kong style favorites like salt and pepper fried calamari or shrimp and wonton noodle soup. This isn’t the type of stuff you’ll get from your neighborhood takeout place – this is up there with Eden Center quality, authentic food. If you’re ordering Americanized dishes, you’ll get standard fare because that’s what’s expected on a Chinese takeout menu in Woodbridge. We ordered on a Sunday afternoon and left immediately to pick it up. Fifteen minutes later, we were back home and everything was piping hot and delicious. The aforementioned calamari was still crisp and the moo shu pork was so big, we should have ordered extra pancakes. I can’t wait to try more from them!

Upon reading the reviews I decided to try this place and not go to my usual Little Taipei, what a mistake. This food was awful. The Tso chicken had hardly any sauce, the rice was tasteless and the broccoli on the beef and broccoli just tasted strange. Not to mention I waited over an hour for my food. I would never eat here again worst experience ever. My entire family was so upset with me for trying this place, no one enjoyed dinner, most of it ended up in the trash.

Delicious! Was going to walk into Papa John’s next door and order pizza but decided to try this place. Didn’t check Unilocal beforehand, just went it. Was a little skeptical because it was a Friday night at 7:30pm and there was literally NOONE in the restaurant! But said what the heck let’s give it a shot and check Unilocal afterwards haha We ordered carry out: egg rolls, tempura shrimp, chicken lo mein, pork egg foo yung, and sweet and sour pork, which wasn’t on the menu but she said that’s fine. Everything was good especially the egg rolls, big and stuffed, crispy outside, not too greasy, and the egg foo yung is our new favorite! Thick, flavorful, moist, really good gravy. The pork was really good too and they served it with the sweet and sour sauce on the side so you could pour it on yourself, wonderful! It stayed really crispy because of that. Best Chinese in Woodbridge!

Called ahead and ordered carry-out from Good Taste Express and I am very impressed with this restaurant! I would definitely recommend going here. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, and chicken fried rice. All dishes were amazing. The Pad Thai tasted better than some thai restaurants I’ve been too in the area. It does come a little more spicy than a Thai restaurant(just ask for«less spicy,» if you want). The chicken fried rice tasted amazing, not greasy and not too salty. I would say they have the best fried rice in the area! Another great thing is the the portions are HUGE for the price! The veg spring rolls were ok, not greasy either. The reason why this Chinese restaurant earns 5 stars is because of the friendly customer service and being a clean establishment! The lady wanted to make sure I had enough fortune cookies and asked how many people would be eating the food I ordered. The sauce packets were neatly placed in a small bag. This is a wonderful restaurant.

Good portions but very bland, I ordered beef & broccoli, sesame chicken, combo fried rice and spring rolls. Everything needed more seasoning/flavor/sauce :(

I had the kung pao tofu. Some places cook the tofu either too greasy or too dry but this was just right. They don’t skimp on the rice either. Great quality food at a good price!

I’ve ordered here 3times and I can easily say that I’m never disappointed. They have food on the menu that other carryout places in Woodbridge do not have such as salt and pepper squid that I was missing and love. Also, their delivery is very fast. I’m giving 4.5 instead of 5 because the Shredded beef is not really Shredded. The carrots and celery are a little bit too long. The noodle soups doesn’t have too much noodles if sharing with the whole family of 4 but it has a lot of toppings which is excellent. Another thing I love in here is the pan fried noodles. The house one has beef, chicken and shrimp. It is delicious. The pad Thai has a lot of shrimp and also a big plus. Thank you for the pan fried noodle and the squid! :)

Best Chinese restaurant I’ve had in Woodbridge so far. The menu is somewhat small for a carry out but they do these dishes well. Everything tastes fresh and always have been greeted with a smile when I pick up. Triple delight, Chicken and broccoli and combo fried rice are good and the portions are generous.

Excellent Chinese food! Great carry out and sit in! Casual and not fussy and wonderful egg rolls! Owners are a nice couple who you find yourself just wanting to succeed in this business! I give their food an A+! Perfectly yummy!!! I used a Valpak coupon and got a discount– so it was even better!!!

Best Chinese food we’ve had in the area in a long time! Everytime we find a place we like something changes(whether it be management or chefs) and the quality gets compromised. We were so pleased with everything we ordered here. The soups and apps were amazing. We chose the lemongrass beef on a stick as our fave. But the crab rangoon, egg drop and wonton soups were awesome too. The sesame chicken was amazing! Everything really was but that was my top entrée pick. We also ordered the beef and green beans, sweet and sour chicken, pork lomein, general tso chicken, and shrimp with broccoli. Which came with a generous portion of large shrimp. Definitely better than any local place we’ve ordered from in a long time. We were happy with all of our choices and have found our new fave!

I don’t eat out much at other Chinese restaurants anymore since I started eating here. Since moving into this neighbourhood, the service and quality of food we get from Good Taste is phenomenal! First — the food. It’s always well made and tasty, from my experience. Delivery is fast, quick and sometimes they deliver well below the minimum amount needed! Sitting in may be a tad slower but this leads me to my second point — customer service. The owners are just fantastic people and I would even go as far as to call them friends now! Once you start becoming a regular, they start to remember things about you — like how I don’t eat pork, how I love the yucca etc. It’s an overall experience dealing with this place and the customer service definitely gives them the edge over all other Chinese takeouts. I’m not the(as I write this review) Duchess here for nothing, thanks. Favourite dishes include: combination egg foo young, beef flat noodles with black bean sauce, fried yucca.

With a name like Good Taste Express, Good Taste is tasting good. In just a few short weeks it has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Quite literally a Mom and Pop, Mom takes your order and Pops drops it off. The menu is a bit smaller then most of the other restaurants in the area, but that’s why I wanted to try it. Smaller menu means better focus. So what have I tried: General Tso Chicken — a really good version, won’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had, but it is up there. Beef on a stick — now this is the best version I’ve had. The lemongrass flavor comes through and tender as can be. Egg Drop Soup — very solid version of a classic. Chef’s Special Chicken — this is the bomb, very similar to General Tsos or Orange Chicken, yet much mo’ better. Lo Mein — again a common dish, but Good Tastes version is my favorite, just tastes a step above like most of their dishes. Not only has everything I’ve tried been delicious but the portions are huge! Yes portions from Chinese restaurants are huge… but from Good Taste they give you what you order. When you order General Tso you get General Tso, not broccoli and a few pieces of chicken. No here you get chicken with a few pieces of broccoli. The Lo Mein alone could probably feed me for 3 to 4 meals. All in all support this place. Only thing bumming me out is that they have a beef stew with thick noodle on the menu that I have not been able to try. Never seen that on a Chinese menu before! Hope they get the ingredients soon.
